Description

The invention relates to a closure for folding gates, with locking bars which move in the longitudinal direction from the closure housing and can move in opposite directions and which are coupled via linearly guided intermediate links to a rotatably mounted, two-armed actuating lever, one arm of which is extended to an operating lever protruding from the closure housing, in order to block the rotary movement of the operating lever in its basic position (locking position), a locking cylinder-actuable locking slide which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the locking housing and which interacts with the locking cylinder via a control section is provided.

From the Swiss patent CH-A-137161 a lock of the above type is known, which has two locking bars which can be moved in opposite directions and which are coupled via intermediate links to a two-armed actuating lever. One arm of the operating lever is extended and forms an operating lever. In order to block the rotary movement of the operating lever in its locking position, a locking slide which can be actuated by a lock cylinder is provided. The locking slide is displaceably mounted in the longitudinal direction of the lock housing and has an opening which is penetrated by a hook-shaped end of the operating lever in the locked position of the gate lock. In this locking position of the locking slide a further actuation protection of the operating lever is achieved in that the free end region of the locking slide engages in a groove of the two-armed actuating lever. In this way, the gate lock is secured against actuation of the operating lever. To remove the fuse, a key-operated lock is provided, which has a lock cylinder. The lock bit of the lock cylinder lies in a quarter-circular opening of the locking slide and can raise the latter - with the appropriate key actuation - in such a way that on the one hand the hook-shaped end of the operating lever and on the other hand the groove in the two-armed operating lever is released by shifting the locking slide end.

Such an arrangement is disadvantageous in that, on the one hand, it does not offer sufficient security against unauthorized attempts to open it and, on the other hand, forces can be introduced into the device during such attempts to open it, which lead to its damage, in particular also to the locking cylinder.

The inadequate security of the known closure is based on the fact that the closure can be easily moved into its open position by simply severing the operating lever. If the hook-shaped end is separated from the operating lever, for example with a hand saw, the section provided with the locking hook can be used by pressing it down to lever the locking slide upwards. Here, its lower section leaves the groove of the actuating lever, so that the locking bars can be moved into the open position by means of the section of the operating lever which is still present. By lifting the locking slide, the lower edge of its lock cylinder opening comes into contact with the lock bit, which - depending on the force exerted by the lever action - can cause damage that questions the lock function of the lock cylinder.

Furthermore, a closure on the market is known, in which a locking cylinder-actuated locking slide occurs against the one flank of an inner, shorter arm of an operating lever. Since the operating arm of the operating lever is relatively long, considerable forces can be applied, which are then to be absorbed by the locking slide. This can lead to deformations and thus make the closure unusable. Then this design does not allow the lock cylinder to be passed completely through the lock housing.

The invention is therefore based on the object of designing a closure of the type mentioned in such a way that, in addition to an increased utility value, there is a secure locking position in which forces occurring during an attempt to open can be absorbed without damage.

This problem is solved by the characterizing part of claim 1.

Due to the fact that the control section lies in the pin-slot engagement with a toggle slide movable in the transverse direction of the lock housing, to which a tumbler which can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the lock case is assigned, depending on the direction in which the touring slide is moved, the locking slide is displaced via the pin / slot engagement either in the release or in the blocking position.

If, for example, an unauthorized person succeeds in trying to open the locking slide, for example by means of a screwdriver blade inserted into the lock from the outside, it is not possible to move the locking slide out of its locked position due to the tumbler. Locking slide and touring slide are connected to each other via the mortise and tenon and the touring slide is fixed in its position by means of the tumbler. The consequence of this fixation is that the locking slide cannot be moved either, since the pin in its slot cannot be moved due to the fixed touring slide position. The immovable position of the locking slide caused by the tumbler the operating lever cannot be operated, so that the lock cannot be opened with a light burglary tool, even if the locking slide is tampered with. In addition, the tumbler prevents the touring slide from moving against the lock bit of the lock cylinder during an attempted opening, so that there is no fear of damage to the lock cylinder.

In addition, the locking slide engages on the operating arm of the operating lever, so that when an attempt is made to open the locking slide in the locked position, only a relatively short lever arm is present. Deformations leading to locking faults cannot therefore be generated. Due to the control section running to the side of the pivot bearing point of the operating lever, the locking point can be provided close to the exit region of the arm of the operating lever. The control section of the locking slide also allows the lock cylinder to be conveniently accommodated. Opening forces emanating from the operating lever when the locking slide is in the closed position are not transmitted to the locking cylinder.

It proves to be of advantage if the tumbler is U-shaped, one U-leg carries a tumbler spring and both U-legs are equipped with pins, one of which in the closed position and the other in the open position enters the throat of the touring pusher . Any forces occurring on the locking slide in its direction of displacement are accordingly absorbed by these pins.

In addition, it is advantageous if the inner end of the intermediate link facing away from the operating lever engages via a chain link reaching to the side of the locking cylinder on the central region of the operating lever in such a way that the point of engagement of the chain link on the central region in the locked position of the locking bars over the dead center line between the operating lever pivot point and the other linear chain link pivot point occurs. This means that the weight of the upper, in most cases relatively long locking bar leads to a pivoting of the operating lever in the locking direction. Only when the lock is opened, after a certain pivoting of the operating lever, the point of application exceeds the dead center line, so that the weight then supports the opening movement of the operating lever.

The fact that the articulation point between the intermediate link adjacent to the operating lever in the locking position of the locking bars has crossed the dead center line between the operating lever pivot point and the linearly guided locking bar application point also contributes to a secure locking position. Any opening forces which are intended to force the lower locking bar into the lock housing accordingly result in the operating lever also being pivoted increasingly into the locked position.

So that the operating lever can be pivoted into the locked end position even when the locking slide is in the blocking position, the locking slide blocking point is preceded by a bevel and the control section has a corresponding empty gear. If the corresponding arm of the operating lever acts on the locking slide when the locking slide is in the blocking position, this inevitably evades and allows the operating lever to be pivoted further into the closed position, so that the locking slide can move back into the locking position when the locking projection is aligned with the recess. The corresponding empty gear also enables an internal release when the shutter is closed. By means of a handle firmly connected to the locking slide, the locking slide, which is then loaded by a spring, can be moved into the release position and the door can be opened. After leaving the room, the door can be locked again without using a key.

An advantageous further development can be seen in the fact that the locking slide blocking point is arranged on the side of the intermediate link opposite the handle section of the operating lever. This enables space-saving accommodation of the corresponding closure components.

There are advantages in terms of locking technology in that the arm of the operating lever has a niche into which a blocking projection of the locking slide can be inserted. Therefore, the pivoting movement of the operating lever can only be blocked if its niche is opposite the blocking projection of the locking slide. If the operating lever is in the open position and the locking slide is then brought into the closed position, this is indicated by the fact that the operating lever acts on the blocking projection with its corresponding area and cannot be pivoted into the final closed position.

There is a possibility that the locking slide blocking point lies in the area of the root of the handle section. This blocking point alone or in conjunction with the aforementioned blocking point can cause the control lever to be tied.

Finally, an advantageous feature can be seen in the fact that the outer boundary wall of the niche in the locked position of the locking slide comes against a stop surface of the locking slide, in which position the chain link engagement point on the center section is located on the dead center line. The weight of the upper drive rod is therefore taken up by the operating lever pivot. It therefore does not lead to a pivoting of the operating lever into the closed position. A increased friction between the boundary wall of the niche and the stop surface of the locking disk does not occur, so that no greater forces are to be applied when the lock cylinder is actuated.

The closure shown in FIGS. 1-8 has a lock base 1, which is covered by a cap-like lock cover 2. To secure it, studs 3 and lugs 46, 50, which extend from the lock base 1 and into which the lock housing cover 2 penetrate screws 4, are used.

Die Längsschlitze 12,16 erstrecken sich demgemäß in Verlagerungsrichtung der Riegelstange 17.The lock base 1 carries in its central region a pin-like operating lever fulcrum 5, which serves to support the central region 6 of an operating lever 7. Beyond the central area 6, the operating lever continues into a relatively short arm 8. There is a pin-like point of attack 9 for a chain link 11 reaching to the side of a lock cylinder 10. This is coupled via a chain link articulation point 13, which is linearly guided in a longitudinal slot 12 of the lock base 1, to the inner end 14 'of the intermediate link 14 remote from the operating lever 7. Its other end 14 ", which is angled to the longitudinal axis of the lock housing, carries a guide pin 15 which engages in a longitudinal slot 16 of the lock base 1. The guide pin 15 passes through the end of the upper locking bar 17. The longitudinal slots 12, 16 accordingly extend in the direction of displacement of the locking bar 17 .

The operator-side arm 18 is also equipped with a pivot point 19. Around this one end 20 'of the other intermediate link 20 is mounted. The other end 20 ″ carries a locking bar engagement point 21 which leads into a longitudinal slot 22 of the lock base 1 and engages through the end of the lower locking bar 23 there.

In the closed position of the locking bars 17, 23 shown in FIG. 3, two dead center lines A-A and B-B occur. The point of attack 9 of the chain link 11 at the central area 6 has entered the locking position of the locking bars 17, 23 via the dead center line A-A between the operating lever pivot point 5 and the other linearly guided chain link pivot point 13. Accordingly, the weight of the upper locking bar 17 causes the operating lever 7 to be loaded in the clockwise direction, that is to say it is pivoted into the closed position. The other dead center line B-B passes through the operating lever fulcrum 5 and locking rod engagement point 21, the articulation point 19 between the operating lever 7 and the adjacent intermediate link 20 having crossed this dead center line B-B. A shift of the locking bar 23 in the lock causes the operating lever 7 is also pivoted clockwise.

To facilitate handling, the operating lever forms a handle section 24 on the outside of the lock.

The approximately Z-shaped arm 18 of the operating lever 7 continues on the side of the intermediate link 20 opposite the handle section 24 into a projection 18 '. In this there is a niche 25 which is open at the bottom and into which a blocking projection 26 of a locking slide 27 can be inserted. Accordingly, this locking * slide blocking point is located on the side of the intermediate link 20 opposite the handle section of the operating lever. The locking slide 27 forms longitudinal slots 28, 29 running in the direction of displacement of the locking bars, into which stud bolts 30 and 31 on the housing side are inserted. The longitudinal slot 29 is located in a narrower area of the locking slide 27, which area opens into a control section 32 extending to the side of the pivot bearing point 5. This affects the locking cylinder 10 on the side opposite the intermediate link 14. Arranged in the control section 32 is a longitudinal slot 33, which extends obliquely to the direction of displacement of the locking slide 27 and into which a pin 34 projects, which is seated on a touring slide 35 which is movable in the transverse direction of the closure housing. To guide it, bolts 36 extending from the lock bottom are used, which engage in corresponding slots 37 of the touring slide 35. A locking engagement opening 38 for the locking bit 10 ′ of the locking cylinder 10 is provided in the touring pusher 35 on the edge facing the locking cylinder 10.

Fig. 3. Fig. 5. 44 bringt.Below the tour pusher 35, a U-shaped tumbler 39 is guided in the longitudinal direction of the closure housing. The U-web 39 'projects into the locking engagement opening 38, while the U-legs 39 "and 39'" extend on both sides of the locking bar 17. The U-leg 39 '" is the support of a compression spring 40, which is supported on the associated stud bolt 3 and loads the tumbler in the direction of the locking cylinder 10. On both U-legs 39 ", 39 '" there are pins 41, 42, of which one 42 dips in the open position into an edge-side throat 43 of the touring pusher 35, see FIG. 3. In the closed position the other pin 41 engages the other edge-side throat 44 of the touring slide 35, see FIG. 5. In both cases, the displacement of the locking slide 27 is blocked. A displacement of the touring slide 35 and thus of the locking slide 27 requires the closing actuation of the locking cylinder, the locking bit 10 'displacing the tumbler 39 and disengaging the pins 41 and 42 from the corresponding edge-side grooves 43 and 44, respectively.

If the locking bars 17, 23 are to be moved from their position shown in FIG. 3 into the open position, the operating lever 7 is to be pivoted counterclockwise. The upper locking bar 17 is pulled inwards via the chain link 11 and intermediate link 14 and the lower locking bar 23 is also moved inward via the intermediate link 20.

As soon as the point of attack 9 exceeds the dead center line AA during this opening operation, the weight of the upper drive rod 17 assists the opening movement of the operating lever 7. In the open position, the operating lever assumes the length according to FIG. 4 and is in this by the weight of the upper Locking bar 17 held.

Locking the lock requires the operating lever 7 to be moved clockwise, the locking rods 17, 23 being extended in opposite directions and being immersed in locking recesses (not shown). The basic position of the operating lever 7 is limited when it acts on an inclined flank 45 of a lower bracket 46 fastened to the lock base 1. The niche 25 of the operating lever 7 then extends at the level of the blocking projection 26. When the closing operation then follows, the touring slide 35 is moved into the position according to FIG. 5. As a result of the pin-slot engagement 33, 34, the locking slide 27 is displaced upward, its blocking projection 26 entering the recess 25 and blocking the pivoting movement of the operating lever 7. As a result of this specially arranged blocking point, no major constraining forces can occur. The fact that the locking slide 27 can be supported with its projection 27 ′ on a lug 50 on the housing side has a stabilizing effect.

If the locking slide 27 has already been brought into the blocking position prior to the shifting of the operating lever 7 into its basic position, the outer boundary wall 25 'of the recess 25 acts on a stop surface 26' of the locking slide 27, see the dash-dotted line in FIG. 5. In this position the middle section-side chain link point of application 9 is still on the dead center line AA, so that the load caused by the locking bar 17 acts on the operating lever fulcrum 5 and does not cause the operating lever 7 to pivot in the locking direction. The friction between the boundary wall 25 'and the stop surface 26' is therefore insignificant, so that even then the locking slide 27 can be easily displaced by the locking cylinder 10.

If necessary, the stop surface 26 'of the locking slide 27 can be designed as a sloping latch. Then, with the locking slide closed, an evasive movement of the same could take place. For this purpose, the control section 32 would have to form an empty gear for the pin 34. Furthermore, a spring would have to be arranged, which loads the locking slide 27 in the upward direction. Then an internal release is also possible by means of a handle extending from the locking slide in the closed position. An inner lever is then also to be provided, which would be coupled with the operating lever 7.

In the second embodiment shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, identical components have the same reference numerals. In a departure from the first embodiment, a further locking slide blocking point is provided, which is located in the region of the root 7 ′ of the operating lever 7. For this purpose, instead of the longitudinal slot 28 on the locking slide 27, a locking pin 47 is provided, which leads in a longitudinal slot 48 of the lug 46. In the area of the root 7 'there is another niche 49. When the locking bars 17, 23 are open, the locking slide 27 can be moved into the closed position, its locking pin 47 being immersed in the niche 49 and thus blocking the pivoting movement of the operating lever 7. At the same time, the locking projection 26 is also inserted into the recess 25 so that the operating lever 7 is locked twice. However, it is also possible that only one or the other blocking point is provided.

The locking device is designed in such a way that it does not have to be disassembled when the lock is attached.
