Abstract

Es wird ein Mittel zur Dichtegradienten-Zentrifugation in Form von Alkali-, Ammonium- oder Erdalkalimetawolframa­ ten, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von niedermolekularen Elektrolyten, geschaffen, das Dichten bis zu 3,1 g.cm⁻³ ermöglicht, niedrige Viskosität bei hohen Konzentrationen aufweist, neutral und chemisch inert ist.
Es wird weiterhin ein Mittel zur Trennung von wasserun­ löslichen Feststoffgemischen unterschiedlicher Dichte geschaffen. Als Trennmittel finden Lösungen von echten Metawolframaten Anwendung. Zur Erhöhung der Dichte können den Metawolframat-Lösungen auch Schwerstoffe, wie Wolframcarbid, geeigneter Korngröße unter Ausbilden einer Suspension zugefügt werden.
