Abstract
Ein Zylinderkopf (1) für Viertakt-Brennkraftmaschinen enthält in V-Stellung hängend zwei Einlaßventile (2) und ein Auslaßventil 3. Die beiden parallelen Einlaßventile (2) weisen einen relative großen freien Abstand voneinander auf in dem eine Zündkerze (8) mit größerem Winkel zur Zylinderachse (4) als die beiden Einlaßventile (2) angeordnet ist. Die Funkenstrecke der Zündkerze (8) liegt im Brennraum mittig zwischen den Ventiltellern (2') der Einlaßventile (2). In der gleichen Ebene mit der Zündkerze (8) ist das Auslaßventil (3) angeordnet, dessen Ventilteller (3') einen Durchmesser etwa gleich dem Radius der Kreis-Kontur (10') des Zylinders (10) aufweist und die Kreis-Kontur (10') und die Zylinderachse (4) etwa tangiert. Die Ventilteller (2') der Einlaßventile (2) sind in ihrer Schließlage so angeordnet daß sie die Kreis-Kontur (10') des Zylinders (10) etwa tangieren und diejenige Achse (10") der Kreis-Kontur (10') übergreifen, die parallel zu der von den Einlaßventilen (2) bestimmten Ebene liegt.A cylinder head (1) for four-stroke internal combustion engines contains two intake valves (2) and an exhaust valve 3 hanging in the V position. Die dabei gegebene Ventil- und Zündkerzen-Anordnung ermöglicht große Ventilöffnungsquerschnitte bei kleinem V-Winkel der Ventile und damit kompakter Brennraumgestaltung einschließlich nahezu zentraler Ladungszündung sowie günstiger Beeinflussungsmöglichkeit des Verbrennungsvorganges durch eine von der Einlaßventil-Anordnung begünstigte Ausbildung und Anordnung eines abgestimmten Quetschspaltes. Die Winkellage der Zündkerzen-Längsachse ergibt darüber hinaus sowohl einen geringen Einbau-Raumbedarf der Zündkerze zwischen den Einlaßventilen unabhängig vom Raumbedarf für deren Ventilfedern als auch eine freie Zugänglichkeit zu den Zündkerzen auf der relativ kalten Einlaß-Außenseite des Zylinderkopfes.The invention avoids these disadvantages by the features according to the characterizing part of the patent claim. Ein Zylinderkopf 1 für fremdgezündete Viertakt-Brennkraftmaschinen enthält drei Ventile 2 und 3 in V-Stellung zueinander. Zwei Einlaßventile 2 liegen parallel zueinander entsprechend einem V-Schenkel, der von der Ebene der beiden Einlaßventile 2 bestimmt ist. Zur Zylinderachse 4 weisen die Einlaßventile 2 einen Kinkel von ca. 37 auf. Der von einem Auslaßventil 3 bestimmte V-Schenkel weist dagegen nur einen Winkel von ca. 15° zur Zylinderachse 4 auf. Eine Nockenwelle 5 ist in einer winkelhalbierenden Lage innerhalb der ca. 52°-V-Stellung der Einlaß- und Auslaßventile 2 und 3 angeordnet. Für die Antriebsverbindung zwischen der Nockenwelle 5 und den Ein- und Auslaßventilen 2 und 3 ist je ein Kipphebel 6 auf Lagerachsen 7 drehbeweglich angeordnet.A
Die beschriebene V-Stellung der Ein- und Auslaßventile 2 und 3 ergibt in Verbindung mit der Anordnung der beiden Einlaßventile 2 bzw. deren Ventilteller 2' in einem relativ großen freien Abstand und einer Zündkerze 8 bzw. deren Funkenstrecke in diesem Abstand eine für die Größe der Ventilöffnungsquerschnitte und den Verbrennungsvorgang vorteilhafte Gestaltung des Brennraumes 9. Zu diesem Zweck liegen auch die Ventilteller 2' und 3' nahezu tangierend eng an der Kontur 10' des zugehörigen Zylinders 10 sowie die Ventilteller 2' in relativ engem Abstand zum Ventilteller 3'. Der Durchmesser des Ventiltellers 3' des Auslaßventiles 3 entspricht weitgehend dem Radius des Zylinders 10. Die Ventilteller 2' der Einlaßventile 2 übergreifen dabei diejenige Achse 10" der Kontur 10' des Zylinders 10, die parallel zur Ebene der Einlaßventile 2 liegt. Diese Anordnung der Ein- und Auslaßventile 2 und 3 bzw. deren Ventilteller 2' und 3' und der Funkenstrecke der Zündkerze 8 zwischen den Ventiltellern 2' ergibt eine günstige Abstimmung der Ventilöffnungsquerschnitte der Ein- und Auslaßventile 2 und 3 aufeinander und eine nahezu zentrische Lage der Funkenstrecke der Zündkerze 8 im Brennraum 9 mit günstigen Auswirkungen auf die Maschinenfunktion hinsichtlich Leistungsverhalten und Kraftstoffverbrauch.The described V-position of the intake and
