Zylinderkopf (1) für Viertakt-Brennkraftmaschinen, - mit in V-Stellung hängend angeordneten Ein- und Auslaßventilen (2 und 3), - wobei je Zylinder (10) zwei Einlaßventile (2) parallel nebeneinander entsprechend einem V-Schenkel und - ein Auslaßventil (3) entsprechend dem zweiten V-Schenkel sowie - das Auslaßventil (3) in einer parallelen und abstandsgleich angeordneten, die Zylinderachse (4) enthaltenden Ebene zwischen den beiden Einlaßventilen (2) angeordnet sind und - eine Zündkerze (8) unter einem Winkel zur Zylinderachse (4) in den Brennraum (9) ragt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, - daß die Ventilteller (2') der Einlaßventile (2) einen relativ großen freien Abstand voneinander aufweisen, - wobei die Ventilteller (2') der Einlaßventile (2) in ihrer Schließlage die Kreis-Kontur (10') des Zylinders (10) etwa tangieren und diejenige Achse (10") der Kreis-Kontur (10') übergreifen, die parallel zu der von den Einlaßventilen (2) bestimmten Ebene liegt, - daß der Ventilteller (3') des Auslaßventiles (3) einen Durchmesser etwa gleich dem Radius der Kreis-Kontur (10') des Zylinders (10) aufweist und die Kreis-Kontur (10') und die Zylinderachse (4) etwa tangiert und - daß die Zündkerze (8) zwischen den Einlaßventilen (2) in der von Auslaßventil (3) und Zylinderachse (4) bestimmten Ebene angeordnet ist, - wobei die Längsachse der Zündkerze (8) mit der Zylinderachse (4) einen größeren Winkel einschließt als die von den Einlaßventilen.(2) bestimmte Ebene und - die Funkenstrecke der Zündkerze (8) brennraumseitig im Abstand zur Zylinderachse (4) etwa mittig zwischen den Ventiltellern (2') der Einlaßventile (2) angeordnet ist. Cylinder head (1) for four-stroke internal combustion engines, - with inlet and outlet valves (2 and 3) arranged in a V-position, - With each cylinder (10) two inlet valves (2) parallel next to each other corresponding to a V-leg and - An outlet valve (3) corresponding to the second V-leg and - The outlet valve (3) in a parallel and equally spaced, the cylinder axis (4) containing plane between the two inlet valves (2) are arranged and - A spark plug (8) projects into the combustion chamber (9) at an angle to the cylinder axis (4), characterized in that - That the valve plate (2 ') of the inlet valves (2) have a relatively large free distance from each other, - The valve plate (2 ') of the inlet valves (2) in their closed position the circle contour (10') of the cylinder (10) approximately tangent and that axis (10 ") of the circle contour (10 ') overlap, which parallel to the level determined by the inlet valves (2), - That the valve plate (3 ') of the exhaust valve (3) has a diameter approximately equal to the radius of the circular contour (10') of the cylinder (10) and the circular contour (10 ') and the cylinder axis (4) approximately affects and - That the spark plug (8) is arranged between the inlet valves (2) in the plane determined by the outlet valve (3) and the cylinder axis (4), - The longitudinal axis of the spark plug (8) with the cylinder axis (4) encloses a larger angle than that determined by the inlet valves.
