Abstract
Description
The invention is in the field of illumination and relates in particular to a device for generating a spark shower.
The so-called sparklers are known for generating sparks, which consist of a light set containing iron or steel powder, which is applied to metal wire with adhesives, with which the sparklers are attached to the Christmas tree.
However, these sparklers have several disadvantages, they require handling fire near the light fire-catching Christmas tree relatively long time to light and burn relatively quickly, so that it is practically impossible to look at the Christmas tree with several sparklers burning at the same time. Due to the high level of heating during the burning process, if the sparklers fall off, the floors and furnishings can be damaged, and room burns and burns can occur if they occur shortly after they have burned down. Because of these dangers, sparklers should only be lit by or in the presence of adults, as children are often startled by the sudden spraying of the candles and may drop the match, etc.
The invention has for its object to provide a simple arrangement for generating a spark spray, which produces the effect of the sparklers, but without their dangers and which can be operated for a long time at any time, is reusable for each year and largely harmless to the Is user and operator.
This is achieved according to the invention in that the device for generating a spark spray consists of an electric motor, on the axis of which at least one friction wheel is arranged, which of at least a flint is applied continuously or intermittently.
The flint or flints are advantageously arranged interchangeably in at least one flint holder which is articulated in an oscillating manner with respect to the friction wheel.
It is preferably provided that the flint holder (s) are articulated with their oscillation frequency with weight or spring pressure.
Two flint holders are advantageously provided, which act like forceps on the friction wheel or the friction wheels.
The visual effect of the spark spray can be enhanced if rotational bodies with faceted mirror surfaces are provided above and / or below the friction wheel.
The flint holder can also be provided with faceted mirror surfaces.
The device according to the invention has a simple structure and a permanent function, so that sparks can be generated without risk for a duration that exceeds the burning time of a sparkler many times over. The wearing parts, like the flint, easily exchangeable, so that the device can be used again and again and for its operation a commercially available battery or the connection to a normal bell transformer or other other low voltage sources, such as an accumulator or the like, is sufficient.
The invention will now be explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawings.

- Fig. 2 is a schematic side view
- Fig. 3 is a bottom view.
A vertically held
The device according to the invention can be used in window dressing as well as at Christmas and New Year celebrations and makes the use of fireworks for the generation of sparks unnecessary.
