ll iliaim. (@1- 46-418) It is known in connection with toy locomoives to visibly project beams of sparks from the 'unnel. According to the invention these beams 3f sparks are at the same time utilized for ruminating the boiler, cab, cabins and the like in all kinds of toys.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated by way of example in longitudinal section in the only figure oi the accompanying drawing.
In the interior, for example, of a locomotive a a driving mechanism b is mounted which actuates a spark producing device from which the spark beams are visibly projected through the funnei. According tothe invention these beams 01 sparks are utilized at the same time for luminating the boiler, cab, smoke box cover, cabins and the like of toy locomotives, ships an similar toys. For this purpose the so-called smoke box cover on the front end of the locomotive boiler consists of a coloured gelatine plate of the toy as 02. The cab f is likewise shut off from the boiler by a gelatine plate 9. To enable the cab to be perfectly lighted, a second cerium stone mounted in a separate stone holder h suspended in the boiler brushes aga'nst the friction wheel. The above described arrangement adds to the interest thereby the toy is completely lighted by simple means.
I claim:
A toy with spark producing device, comprising in combination with the spark producing device, a case simulating a boiler accommodating said device, asmoke box cover on the front of the boiler, and a cab at the rear end of the boiler,
gelatine plates in said a smoke box cover and said cab, through which the d sparks produced by said device are visible.
