Die Verbindung zwischen Bearbeitungsscheibe 6 und Schaumstoffscheibe 7 erfolgt wiederum durch einen Klettverschluß. Die Bearbeitungsscheibe 6 ist dazu mit einer Gewebe- schicht 8 hinterlegt, während auf die Schaumstoffscheibe 7, die aus Hochdruck-PU-Schaum oder vergleichbaren Materialien besteht, auf der zur Bearbeitungsscheibe gerichteten Scheibenfläche eine Klettschicht 15 aufgebracht ist. Die Schichten 5 und 15 auf den Scheibenflächen der Schaumstoffscheibe können aufgeklebt sein, da bei den zum Planschleifen oder Polieren erforderlichen, relativ niedrigen Drehzahlen die Festigkeit des Klebers durch Erhitzung nicht beeinträchtigt wird. Durch Arretierung der Welle 2 über die Zylinderhülse 14 können ferner Schleifarbeiten durchgeführt werden, die einen starren Lauf der Antriebsscheibe erfordern. Die Verbindung über den Klettverschluß zwischen Antriebsscheibe und Bearbeitungsscheibe ist so stabil, daß auch gewebehinterlegte Schleifscheiben als Bearbeitungsscheiben eingesetzt werden können. Antriebsscheibe mit Schleifscheibe sind dann in Werkmaschinen, z. B. Claims (4)

1. An attachment member for machine tools, for use in grinding and polishing operations, comprising a driving disc (1) including an integrally formed hook-type stick-on layer (4) on the driving side, and inclusing on the driven side thereof, a hub having formed therein a receptor portion (9) for conneting thereto a flexible shaft (2) adapted to be converted for inflexible operation ; and a machining disc (3) including on its workpiece side a working surface (6) coated with abrasive or polishing agent, and including on its drive side a fabric layer (8) adapted to be connected with the hook-type stick-on layer (4) of the driving disc (1) to form hook-type stick-on composite joint, characterized in that the machining disc (3) is formed with a two-piece structure and comprises a fabric-backed machining disc having the working surface (6) thereon, and a buffer disc (7) of a deformable material, such as foam material, with the disc surfaces each being formed with a hook-type stick-on layer or a fabric layer (15, 5), respectively.
2. The attachment member according to claim 1, characterized in that the working surface (6) of the machining disc is composed of synthetic resin-bonded abrasive particles.
3. The attachment member according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the working surface (6) of the machining disc is formed of polishing cloth or polishing nonwoven fabric.
4. The attachment member according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the flexible section (12) of shaft (2) is adapted to be fixed by a slip-on sleeve (14) which can be clamped between the receptor portion (9) and a stop (11).
