Abstract

Zur Herstellung dünner Metallbänder oder Folien gros­ ser Breite werden Gruppen von nebeneinanderliegenden Schlitzdüsen (3A, 3B, 3C) mit gleichen oder unterschiedli­ chen Schmelzen beaufschlagt. Die Schmelzen werden als geschlossene Lache auf einer bewegten Kühlkörperober­ fläche, z.B. einer rotierenden Trommel, aufgebracht, wo die Lache zum geschlossenen Metallband erstarrt. Diesen Grup­ pen, die in Bewegungsrichtung der Kühlkörperoberfläche versetzt angeordnet sind, können mit unterschiedlichen Schmelzen beaufschlagt sein, so dass sich ein Metallband mit nebeneinanderliegenden, scharf abgegrenzten Berei­ chen unterschiedlicher Eigenschaften ergibt. Es lassen sich amorphe oder gemischt amorphe/kristalline oder auch nur kristalline Materialstruckturen herstellen. Alternativ lasst sich durch Erzeugung unterschiedlicher Kühlleistungen auf ver­ schiedenen Oberflächenbereichen bzw. durch unterschiedli­ che Strukturierung verschiedener Oberflächenbereiche der Erstarrungsvorgang der Schmelze auf der Kühlkorperober­ fläche dahingenend beeinflussen, dass sich innerhalb der entstehenden Bander der Folien benachbarte Bereiche unter­ schiedlicher metallischer und oder geometrischer Struktur ergeben.
