Die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Anordnung wird aus einer Textstation gebildet. Diese Textstation weist eine Zentralsteuerung ZS auf. Weiterhin besteht die Textstation aus einer Tastatur TST zur Eingabe von Zeichen sowie einem Drucker DR und einer Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ. Im Verbindungsweg zwischen der Zentralsteuerung ZS und der Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ befindet sich ein Zeichengenerator ZG mit einem nachgeschalteten Bildpunktspeicher BPS. Die über die Tastatur TST eingegebenen Zeichen werden in dem Bildpunktspeichar BPS in Form eines Zeichenmusters gespeichert. Dieses.Zeichenmuster wird zyklisch aus dem Bildpunktspeicher BPS ausgelesen und zur Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ gebracht. Die auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ dargestellten Zeichen werden zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mittels des Druckers DR auf einer Druckgegenlage, die in den Drucker DR eingespannt ist, ausgedruckt. Die ausgedruckten Zeichen jeder Zeile oder Teilzeile befinden sich hierbei auf einer einer Grundstellung entsprechenden Grundlinie und/oder auf davon verschiedenen Hoch- und Tiefstellungen. Als Beispiel hierfür sei folgende zum Ausdruck gelangende Zeichenfolge angegeben.:

Die einzeilige Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ bildet sozusagen ein Fenster, hinter dem die Zeichenfolge in vertikaler y-Richtung verschoben wird. Bei dieser vertikalen Verschiebung der Zeichenfolge auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung ANZ ändert ein hierzu gehöriger Schreibstellenanzeiger SCH seine momentane Position nicht. Nach der erfolgten vertikalen Verschiebung bleibt der Schreibstellenanzeiger SCH nach wie vor in seiner festen vertikalen y-Position und kann nur in der horizontalen x-Richtung bewegt werden. Verfahren zur Darstellung von Zeichen auf einer einzeiligen Anzeigeeinrichtung einer Textstation, bei dem die mittels einer Tastatur eingegebenen und auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung dargestellten Zeichen abgespeichert und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mittels eines Druckers ausgedruckt werden, wobei sich die ausgedruckten Zeichen jeder Zeile oder Teilzeile auf einer der Grundstellung entsprechenden Grundlinie und/oder auf davon verschiedenen Hoch- und Tiefstellungen befinden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung (ANZ) eine Folge von derartigen Zeichen in der Weise vertikal verschoben wird, daß a) zur Darstellung der in Grundstellung befindlichen Zeichen diese Zeichen selbst voll sichtbar und die in Hoch- und/oder Tiefstellung befindlichen Zeichen teilweise sichtbar werden, b) daß ferner zur Darstellung der in Hochstellung befindlichen Zeichen diese Zeichen selbst voll sichtbar und die in Grundstellung befindlichen Zeichen teilweise und die in Tiefstellung befindlichen Zeichen nicht sichtbar werden c) und daß zur Darstellung der in Tiefstellung befindlichen Zeichen diese Zeichen selbst voll sichtbar und die in Grundstellung befindlichen Zeichen teilweise und die in Hochstellung befindlichen Zeichen nicht sichtbar werden. 1.
