Abstract

In the case of a heated vehicle window 1 with several parallel, via end-side busbar 5 with an equal Current source 4 connectable heating wires 2, 3 are the Heating wires 2 in a part of the disc height in sub-groups together with heating wires 2 connected in parallel sums up. The remaining heating wires 3 are a residual group connected in parallel. The common conductors 5 and the same Current source 4 is a switch arrangement 6 intermediate switches. Only the heating wires are in a first switch position te 2 of the sub-groups connected in parallel without current sen. In a second switch position, all heating wires 2, 3 are with sub-groups connected in series without current sen. Approximately the same load on the DC power source 4 in Both switch positions are achieved by the rest of the group in the second switching position of the series connection the sub-group is connected in parallel and the heating wires 2, 3 assigned to the subgroups or the rest of the group be that the total resistance in both switching positions gene is essentially identical.
