Abstract
Zur Erhöhung der Lebensdauer einer Entladungslampe mit heizbaren Elektroden ist vor einer Zündung der Lampe für eine ausreichende Vorheizung zu sorgen. Bei einem Wechselrichter, dessen Lastkreis die Entladungslampe (L) und einen Serienresonanzkreis (C23, L7) in Reihenschaltung enthält, wird eine ausreichende Vorheizung erfindungsge mäß durch eine vorübergehende Erhöhung der Betriebsfre quenz des Wechselrichters erreicht. Wenn die Schalter des Wechselrichters über einen Transformator (T8) gesteuert werden, dessen Primärwicklung in dem Lastkreis liegt, wird dies insbesondere durch Kurzschließen einer kleinen Zusatz wicklung (L85) erreicht.
