Description

The invention relates to a finished cladding for chimney heads, smoke or ventilation ducts, which consists of abutting cladding panels and can be attached to the chimney with webs resting on the top of the chimney, whereby an angle profile is arranged in the corners of the abutting cladding panels on the outside thereof.

From DE-U1-78 16 132 a finished cladding is known which has abutting cladding plates. The well-known finished cladding is attached to the chimney head. For this purpose, two webs are used, which connect two diametrically opposed cladding plates and which rest on the top of the chimney head. It must be ensured that the webs extending across the chimney head do not lie over a chimney opening of the chimney; otherwise there is a great risk of corrosion and the smoke extraction would also be obstructed inadmissibly. Since the position of the chimney openings is not standardized and deviations can be expected during manufacture, the known finished cladding cannot be used universally. There is also a risk that the finished cladding will be deformed when lifting on the webs during transport and assembly due to the weight of the jacket plates. The same also applies during the manufacture of the finished cladding when a partially assembled finished cladding is raised. The resulting dimensional inaccuracies stand in the way of simple assembly, as is to be done, for example, by means of a crane by placing the finished cladding on the chimney head.

From DE-AI-26 14 277 a chimney head cladding is known, the suspension of which is carried out by means of a circumferential angle profile which rests on the edge of the chimney head. The existing support webs form a self-contained frame that surrounds an inner ring of the cladding over the entire circumference. The known chimney head cladding is expensive, which means high manufacturing costs. Furthermore, there is a comparatively large weight, which also makes assembly difficult. With the surrounding support frame, a flat support on the top of the chimney head should be achieved. A prerequisite for this is a good, flat top of the chimney head, which cannot be guaranteed in practice.

The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a finished cladding of the type mentioned in such a way that universal use is made possible with a material-saving structure and low weight and deformations during assembly are avoided.

To solve this problem, it is proposed that the webs are provided exclusively in the corner region of the cladding of a further angle profile which is formed by angled jacket-side legs and which can be arranged on at least two abutting jacket plates.

The finished cladding according to the invention has good stability with little use of material and deformations when lifting can be reliably avoided. Due to the arrangement of the webs exclusively in the corner area, universal use is possible and the chimney openings or smoke vents are under no circumstances covered by the webs. The additional angle profile, which rests with its webs on the top of the chimney, provides effective and functional stiffening of the cladding. Furthermore, the arrangement of the webs in the corner region of the cladding creates a punctiform support, so that the finished cladding can be aligned in a simple manner during assembly. The further angle profile is located in the corner area, in which the abutting jacket plates have a lateral angle profile on their outside. When the finished cladding is lifted over the additional angle profile, the force is applied in the corner area, in which a high degree of rigidity is given due to the side angle profile; there is no compression of the jacket plates when lifting. The finished cladding is just as suitable for square chimneys or fume cupboards as for cylindrical ones. In the case of cylindrical chimneys or fume cupboards, the abutting cladding plates are designed to be correspondingly round and connected on their corner sides or longitudinal edges by means of the angle profile.

In a special embodiment of the finished cladding, which is provided in particular for angular chimney heads, the further angle profile is designed as an angle corner profile. The angled corner profile can be fastened to the jacket plates with the legs extending in the circumferential direction over corners, the web resting on the top of the chimney being angled from these jacket-side legs. An additional stiffening of the finished cladding is achieved with little material.

In another embodiment, the legs of the further angle profile form a closed frame which extends over the circumference of the cladding. However, in this embodiment as well, the webs are only angled and shaped in the corner area. This embodiment is characterized by high rigidity, but only the legs form a closed frame, while the webs only in the corner areas are available and there is a material saving.

In a special embodiment, the further angle profile is designed as a U-profile, the U-back of which serves as a support web. The U-legs are connected to the abutting cladding plates. U-profiles of this type can be gripped and gripped very easily by means of a suitable hook during assembly of the cladding.

Embodiments of the invention are best explained with reference to the drawings. Show it:
  • FIG. 1 shows a detailed view of two abutting jacket plates with the angular corner profile,
  • FIG. 2 shows the top view of a finished cladding according to the invention as it is placed or hung on the top of the chimney,
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a finished cladding, in which the cover-side legs are formed to form an overall diagonal web connecting in the jacket-side leg,
  • 4 shows the perspective view of a corner of a finished cladding placed on a chimney head according to FIG. 3.

In Figure 1, the cladding plates 1 abut each other. This corner thus formed by the cladding panels later corresponds to a corner of the chimney head. Here in the corner of the abutting cladding plates 1, an angular profile 3 is arranged, which is designed as an angled corner profile and has an angled jacket-side leg 4, it is an angled flat iron piece. From this jacket-side leg 4, in turn, a cover-side web 5 is angled away from the jacket plates 1, towards the future inside. This cover-side web 5 is also formed by an angled flat iron. An angular corner profile is shown in which both the jacket-side leg 4 and the cover-side web 5 are each formed at right angles and in which the cover-side web 5 is also arranged at right angles to the jacket-side leg 4. This is the preferred embodiment for a rectangular chimney, the chimney top 6 of which is perpendicular to the chimney outer wall 9. However, the finished cladding according to the invention can also be made for non-rectangular chimneys, which is easy to see; the same applies in the event that the top of the chimney 6 is slightly beveled, that is to say it is not perpendicular to the outer wall 9 of the chimney. In the latter case, e.g. the angle between the deck-side web 5 and the jacket-side leg 4 obtuse. The angular corner profile 3 does not necessarily have to be arranged on the future inside of the jacket plates 1 as shown in FIG. 1; it can also be arranged on the outside of the corner. The angular corner profile 3 can be fastened to the jacket plates 1 e.g. through rivets, suitable adhesives or screw connections. Practical are still the holes 2 in the deck-side web 5. In these holes 2 hooks or screw hooks can be introduced to lift the finished lining; these bores 2 can also be used to hold fasteners in the chimney cap when the finished cladding is in place.

In Figure 2, the top of the chimney is now identified in a top view with reference number 6. In order to keep the figure clear, the identification with the reference numbers is only carried out on two sides of the chimney and in one corner. A corresponding label applies in all other corners of this chimney and on all other sides. Here you can see the function of the angular corner profiles 3. They not only ensure, as was already evident from FIG. 1, that the individual jacket plates 1 are held together; rather, they also provide for hanging the finished clothing in the sense of the invention. This is because the deck-side webs 5 of the corner corner profiles 3 are wider than the thermal insulation layer 8 on the chimney outer wall 9. As a result, the deck-side webs 5 are always at least partially on the top of the chimney 6, so that the finished cladding is suspended here. In the sense of the invention, the top 5 are only in the corners of the chimney head but not in any other areas on the top 6 of the chimney. It is therefore completely irrelevant where Kemin pipes 10 and 11 have their openings in the top 6 of the chimney; The deck-side webs 5 are always only in one corner of the chimney head, where there is never the opening of a chimney pipe, since this must have a certain insulation distance from the chimney outer wall 9. Screw holes or the like can now be inserted in the bores 2, so that the finished cladding bears positively on the chimney outer wall 9; the thermal insulation layer 8 is therefore not loaded for lateral stabilization of the finished cladding in this case. This is advantageous if the thermal insulation layer 8 is compressible; then this thermal insulation layer would lose its insulating properties due to compression, which, as stated, is prevented. The rivet heads arranged on the outside of the jacket plates 1 are identified by the reference number 7. These are the heads of rivets, the other parts of which are not shown; they hold the angular corner profiles 3 and the cladding plates 1 together. Other types of fastening are also possible, e.g. Screws or glue.

The jacket-side leg 4, as can be seen particularly clearly in FIG. 1, can extend over the entire length of the jacket plates 1. A finished covering stabilized over the entire length is then created. In this case, it is also advantageous for the appearance that no corner profiles can be seen on the outside.

In FIG. 3, the design of the finished cladding is shown using the example of a corner thereof, in which the web 5 on the cover side is designed as a diagonal web 13 connecting the legs 4 on the jacket side. It can be seen here that a single diagonal web 13 is formed. The jacket-side legs 4 are angled from it in the same sense as shown in FIG. 1 using the other exemplary embodiment. On the 8 side opposite the jacket-side legs 4, a side angle profile 12 is arranged in the corner of the abutting jacket plates 1. A bore 2 is made in the diagonal web 13, on which the finished cladding e.g. can be hooked into a crane hook or attached to the top of the chimney. It is also possible for the diagonal web 13 to extend into the corner of the abutting jacket plates 1, as well as the jacket-side legs 4. Then the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 differs from that shown in FIG. 1 only in so far as the deck-side legs are closed add a triangular surface, which also has the function of the diagonal web 13. It is easy to understand from this figure that the finished cladding according to the invention is not limited to angular embodiments with angularly abutting jacket plates 1. Also abutting cladding plates e.g. for cylindrical chimneys, the finished cladding according to the invention can be formed in the 8 inch. In this case, the lateral angle profile 12 is not angled, but is designed in accordance with the curvature of the jacket plates; the angular corner profile 3 is then adapted to the curvature of the jacket plates 1 by a suitable bending of the jacket-side legs 4 from the diagonal web 13. Of course, this is also possible in the embodiment according to FIG. 1. The statements made for slanting chimney tops with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 also apply correspondingly to the embodiment shown here in FIG.

Hier kann die Fertigverkleidung vermittels der Bohrung 2 auf der Schornsteinoberseite 6 noch befestigt werden.FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of how the embodiment of the finished cladding shown in FIG. 3 is placed on top of the chimney 6. For the sake of clarity, the perspective view of only one corner of the chimney head is shown in FIG. 4; all other corners look similar. The special shape of the profile already known from the German utility model 19 20 213 is chosen here as the angle profile 12. This profile is formed by a flange on which an outer leg and an inner leg are arranged parallel to one another, an angular leg being arranged parallel to the extension of the flange beyond the inner leg and onto the inner leg. This particular profile has a double function in that it has both the effect of an ordinary angle profile arranged on the outside of the jacket plates 1 and an ordinary angle profile arranged on the inside of the jacket plates 1, these angle profiles also being connected to one another. The diagonal web 13 is placed diagonally across the corner of the chimney head on top of the chimney 6. Here, the finished cladding can still be attached by means of the bore 2 on the top 6 of the chimney.

The position of a Kemin pipe 10 is not important for this prefabricated cladding according to the invention, since the opening of a chimney pipe never lies in the corner of a chimney head. The angle profile 12 here extends over the entire length of the jacket plates 1 shown. This prevents deformation. If the finished cladding is lifted in the hole 2 of the diagonal web 13, the upper edges of the cladding plates 1 do not contract because the tensile forces on the upper edges of the cladding plates only occur in the corner area where the lever length to the corner of the finished cladding is still very small. The thermal barrier coating 8 is spanned by the diagonal web 13. Finished clothing, it is excluded that the thermal insulation layer 8 is damaged when the finished cladding or slipped over the chimney head; a folding or Contraction effect is avoided. Special assembly work is no longer necessary.
