Abstract

Description

The invention relates to installations bringing together in the same space-saving assembly the sanitary equipment and those making it possible to practice the culinary art.

The development of "caravanning" in recent years has made appear on the market more and more sophisticated arrangements in the interior furnishings of caravans which are used for its practice and in particular in the arrangement of sanitary appliances - sink, shower, toilet, bidet - in that of kitchen appliances - hob, oven, fridge - and in that of cupboards for the storage of utensils of these appliances.

These arrangements related more particularly to different combinations of several devices in order to minimize their bulk. However, the proposals which have been made to date do not seem to provide a sufficient solution to this congestion problem.

In view of this state of affairs, the applicant has therefore carried out research which has resulted in the development of a cabin of the connce type of those comprising an access opening closed by a pivoting door around a vertical axis installed in the center of said opening. The cabin according to the invention is original in that the above-mentioned door is a volume which more particularly takes the form of a half-cylinder pivoting on the central axis of its flat wall and defining a composite piece of furniture for supporting sanitary appliances. and kitchen, and storage of utensils of said apparatus.

This cabin is of notable interest compared to known devices because it defines a volume which, while making it possible to accommodate the hemicyclic part of the door, can be transformed into a three-dimensional free space forming a privacy cabinet, when the part hemicyclic of the door pivots by half a turn to be placed outside the cabin.

It is useful to add that the walls of the cabin 1 can also constitute the support for other devices such as for example the devices necessary for the shower - water heater 12, shower head 13, shower tray 14 - (cf. figure 4). Likewise for reasons of convenience, it is possible to give another configuration to the enclosure of the cabin 1, for example a trapezoidal section.

2. A booth as set forth in claim 1, wherein said semi-cylinder door is constituted of a series of superposed semi-cylinders 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, independently swivelling and wherein each superposed semi-cylinder is swivellingly mounted around said central axis of its plane wall.

3. A booth as set forth in claims 1 or 2, wherein the inner walls of said booth are equipped to bear sanitary ware.
