Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zwischenstecker mit einem Stecker zum Einstecken in eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose, mit einer Verbraucher-Schutzkontaktsteckdose und mit einer oder mehreren eingebauten Zusatzeinrichtungen.The invention relates to an adapter plug with a plug for insertion into a protective contact socket, with a consumer protective contact socket and with one or more built-in additional devices.
Zwischenstecker der vorstehend genannten Art werden in vielerlei Variationen benutzt, um auf einfache Weise und unter Vermeidung von Installationsarbeiten elektrische Zusatzeinrichtungen in Betrieb nehmen zu können, beispielsweise dann, wenn ein Verbraucher über eine Schaltuhr, einen Dimmer oder auch eine Fernsteuereinrichtung an das Netz angeschlossen werden sollen. Der Benutzer braucht dann nur den Zwischenstecker, der die Zusatzeinrichtung enthält, in eine Steckdose einzustecken und anschließend den Verbraucher in den Zwischenstecker zu stecken. Sie sollten vorzugsweise keine größeren Abmessungen als übliche quadratische oder auch runde Abdeckungen von Steckdosen und Installationsschaltern haben, damit das äußere Erscheinungsbild nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt wird und die Zwischenstecker problemlos an jeder Steckdose benutzt werden können. Zur Lösung der Aufgabe geht die Erfindung aus von einem Zwischenstecker der eingangs genannten Art und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf der den Steckerstiften abgewandten Seite des Steckers eine Platte parallel zum Steckerboden angeordnet ist, daß die Verbraucher-Schutzkontaktsteckdose gegen den Stecker seitlich versetzt in der Platte liegt und daß der durch den seitlichen Versatz gewonnene Platz auf der bzw. in der Platte zur Aufnahme der Zusatzeinrichtungen ausgenutzt ist.The invention is accordingly based on the object of providing an adapter plug which, with a design which is as flat as possible, offers the largest possible and coherent space or space for additional devices. Der dargestellte Zwischenstecker weist einen Schutzkontaktstecker 1 mit Steckerstiften 2 auf und hat die genormten Abmessungen derart, daß er in jede genormte Schutzkontaktsteckdose eingesteckt werden kann. Der über den Zwischenstecker anzuschließende Verbraucher, beispielsweise eine Lampe oder ein anderes elektrisches Gerät, wird mit seinem Verbraucher-Stecker in eine Verbraucher-Schutzkontaktsteckdose 3 eingesteckt, die ebenfalls in genormter Weise ausgebildet ist. Sie besitzt den üblichen Erdungsbügel 4 und am Boden des Steckdosen-Topfes zur Aufnahme des Verbraucher-Steckers eine Einstecköffnung 5, was nur in Fig. 1 gezeigt ist.The adapter plug shown has a protective contact plug 1 with

Zur Vereinfachung ist wie erwähnt in Fig. 2 die Steckdose 3 nicht dargestellt, sondern nur der Raum 7, den sie in der Platte 6 einnimmt, und außerdem die beiden Stiftkanäle 8 im Stecker 1, die die Steckerstifte des in die Verbraucher-Schutzkontaktsteckdose 3 eingeführten Verbraucher-Steckers führen. Die elektrische Verbindung zwischen den Steckerstiften 2 und den Verbraucher-Steckerstiften (nicht abgebildet) des eingeführten Verbraucher-Steckers kann wenigstens im Fall eines Paares direkt über einen Kontaktstreifen 9 erfolgen. Die Verbraucher-Steckdose 3 ist gegen den Schutzkontakt-Stecker 1 um etwa 10 mm versetzt. Durch diese Versetzung entsteht auf der in der Zeichnung oberen Seite der Verbraucher-Steckdose 3 ein verhältnismäßig breiter, zusammenhängender Raum 10, der zur Aufnahme einer Zusatzeinrichtung genutzt werden kann. Beispielsweise läßt sich dort, wie in Fig. 1 angedeutet ist, ein Anzeigefeld unterbringen, das beispielsweise eine Zeituhr enthält.
