Diese Aufgabe löst die Erfindung bei einem gattungsgemässen höhenverstellbaren Tisch dadurch, dass die Antriebswellen jeweils das Säulenunterteil und das Säulenoberteil für die Tastaturplatte durchdringen, und dass die durchdrungenen Säulenoberteile vertikale Langlöcher von zumindest Hublänge für die sie durchdringenden Antriebswellen aufweisen. - Diese Massnahmen der Erfindung haben zur Folge, dass das Tischgestell der Antriebswellen herangezogen werden kann, und zwar derart, dass nur noch die zwangsläufig aussenliegenden Betätigungsvorrichtungen für diese Antriebswellen unterhalb der Tischplatte auf der Vorderseite des Tisches sichtbar sind. Im Rahmen der Erfindung besteht grundsätzlich auch die Möglichkeit, die Antribswellen so anzuordnen, dass sie jeweils das Säulenunterteil und das Säulenoberteil für die Bildschirmplatte durchdringen, sich folglich die Betätigungsvorrichtungen für die Antriebswellen auf der Rückseite des erfindungsgemässen Tisches befinden. Stets kann die Betätigung der Höhenverstellvorrichtungen von der Vorderseite bzw. Insoweit wird eine vollständige Abdeckung auch jener Antriebswelle erreicht, welche auf die hintere Höhenverstellvorrichtung für die Bildschirmplatte arbeitet. Vorzugsweise sind innerhalb der Traverse auf den Antriebswellen und auf den oberen Enden der Spindeln für jeweils die Höhenverstellung der Tastaturplatte und der Bildschirmplatte kämmende Kegelräder oder Schnecken und Schneckenräder angeordnet. Darüber hinaus können über die Länge der Traverse Verbindungswellen mit endseitigen Kegelrädern für die Spindeln der Höhenverstellvorrichtungen vorgesehen sein, so dass verkantungsfreie Höhenverstellung der Säulenoberteile in den Säulenunterteilen erfolgt, obwohl der Antrieb einseitig, nämlich mittels der einerseits in der rechten Tischsäule und andererseits in der linken Tischsäule gelagerten Antribswellen erfolgt. Innerhalb der Traverse 5 sind auf den Antriebswellen 10, 11 und auf den oberen Enden der Spindeln 14 für jeweils die Höhenverstellung der Tastaturplatte 7 und der Bildschirmplatte 8 kämmende Kegelräder 18 angeordnet. Auf den über die Säulenunterteile 3 vorstehenden Enden der Antriebswellen 10, 11 sind auswechselbare Handhabungen 19 lösbar befestigt. Furthermore, on the broad side of the right table column 1 and the left table column 2, associated actuating devices 9 with drive shafts 10, 11 for the height adjustment device 6 are arranged on the one hand the keyboard plate 7 and on the other hand the screen plate 8. The drive shafts 10, 11 each penetrate the lower column part 3 and the upper column part 4 for the keyboard plate 7. The penetrated upper column parts 4 have vertical elongated holes 12 of at least stroke length for the drive shafts 10, 11 passing through them. The drive shafts 10, 11 are mounted in the column lower parts 3 and / or in the cross member 5 connecting all the column lower parts 3, for which purpose the cross member 5 has bearing cheeks 13 for the drive shafts 10, 11. In the illustrated embodiment, the table as height adjustment devices 6 has spindles 14 with spindle nuts 15 mounted on the column lower parts 3 and the cross member 5 in a vertical position, which are connected to the telescopic column upper parts 4 by means of connecting webs 17 passing through slot guides 16 in the column lower parts 3. Within the cross member 5 are arranged on the drive shafts 10, 11 and on the upper ends of the spindles 14 for each the height adjustment of the keyboard plate 7 and the screen plate 8 meshing bevel gears 18. Interchangeable handles 19 are detachably fastened on the ends of the drive shafts 10, 11 projecting beyond the column lower parts 3. In the exemplary embodiment, the projecting ends of the drive shafts 10, 11 are designed as disks 20 with plug-in recesses 21 for plugging in a crank handle 19 alternately.

Claims (5)

1. A vertically-adjustable table for visual display unit work station, with a table frame having columns (1, 2) consisting of lower column portions (3) with upper column portions (4) telescoping into them and having a transom (5) connecting the lower portions (3), with height adjustment devices (6) for the telescoping upper column portions (4) one of which supports a keyboard platform (7) and the other supports a visual display unit platform (8) that is adjustable independently of the keyboard platform (7), in which the table frames for the keyboard platform (7) and the visual display unit platform (8) each have their own lower column portions (3), upper column portions (4) and each has its own height adjustment device (6) consisting of spindles (14) vertically supported in bearings on the lower column portions (3) and on the transom (5), with spindle nuts (15), which spindles are firstly connected to the telescoping upper column portions by means of connecting bars (17) that pass through slotted guides (16) in the lower column portions (3) and secondly are connected together by connecting shafts extending over the length of the transom (5), also having actuation handles (9) on the right hand column (1) and the left hand column (2) of the near side of the table with driving shafts (10,11), orthogonal to the connecting shafts, firstly for the spindles (14) of the keyboard platform (7) and secondly for the visual display unit platform .(8), characterized in that each of the driving shafts (10, 11) penetrates through the lower column portion (3) and the upper column portion (4) of the keyboard platform (7) and that the upper column portions (4) through which they penetrate habe vertical longitudinal holes (12) for the driving shafts (10, 11) that penetrate them, at least equal in length to the height adjustment.

A vertically-adjustable table according to Claim 1, characterized in that the driving shafts (10, 11) run on bearings in the lower column portions (3) and/or in a transom (5) that connects the whole of the lower column portions together, and for this purpose the transom (5) possesses bearing cheeks (13) for the driving shafts (10, 11).

A vertically-adjustable table according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that inside the transom (5) meshing bevel gears (18) or worm drives and worm wheels are fitted to the drive shafts (10, 11) and to the upper end of the spindles (14) both for the height adjustment of the keyboard platform (7) and for that of the visual display unit platform (8).
4. A vertically-adjustable table according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that interchangeable manipulating handles (19) are removably fitted to the ends of the driving shafts (10, 11) that project through the lower column portions (3).
5. A vertically-adjustable table according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the projecting ends of the driving shafts (10, 11) possess socket devices (20, 21) for plugging in the manipulating handles (19).
