Abstract

1. Fastening band for manufacturing garments and underwear articles comprising two elements of a same width, the first one called lower band (20, 21) carrying aligned perforations (24) and the other one called lower band (28) carrying at least one hook (27) provided to penetrate into the perforations (24) of said lower fastening band, comprising a band in various material obtained by superposing a plurality of fabric layers or by sultably bending a same fabric band on itself, characterized in that the lower band (20, 21) inerty comprises at least one suitably placed insert (25) of flexible material, then perforations (24) are made on the upper layer (20) of the lower band (20, 21) between the inserts (25, 39, 43, 50, 63, 70) in order to make reinforcements enabling the blocking of the hooks (27) the curved front part of which is never in contact with the user's skin because of the lower fabric thickness (21).

Description

The present invention relates to a stapling strip intended for use in the manufacture of clothing, underwear and even for belts and shoes.

In general, this type of stapling is mainly used for underwear, in particular for bras, garter belts, swimsuits and similar articles, but stapling bands, commonly used, consist of strips of buttonholes sewn by bands provided with eyelets into which rigid hooks penetrate, or bands supporting junction members such as those known commercially under the name of "Velcro band", zippers or the like. However, these different devices being more or less rigid and of appreciable thickness, they are inconvenient for the user, especially for the user whose underwear is in permanent contact with the skin. There are indeed often skin reactions that are painful and annoying anyway, because in addition they can cause visible reactions especially when it comes to swimsuits.

The present invention overcomes these drawbacks by creating male and female stapling strips whose constitution is such that they can easily be cut and fixed by modern means on clothing and underwear, and in addition, the constitution of these male and female stapling is made of extremely flexible material with a minimum of extra thickness so as to allow fixing on clothes and underwear in a simple, safe way with gestures usual, in particular for bras, but without having the disadvantages mentioned above because the end of the hook is no longer in contact with the skin of the user.

According to the invention, the stapling strip for making clothes and underwear, consisting of two elements of the same width, one carrying aligned perforations and the other hooks intended to penetrate the perforations, is characterized in that the female stapling strip consists of one or more equidistant parallel rows of perforations which are produced by means of a machine the perforation member of which causes either by heating or by ultrasound and molding an additional thickness bordering the perforation in the direction of attachment of the hook so as to block the latter between this additional thickness and the upper bottom of a lower thinning.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the perforated strip for stapling is characterized in that the fabric support strip is covered with a strip of hot-melt material and then, when performing the perforation by ultrasound , the cover strip is glued or welded and cut appropriately to form an extra thickness around the perforation allowing the hook to be blocked.

As can be seen in fig. 1, the stapling strip is constituted by a strip of fabric of one or more thicknesses which can be obtained by superposition of several layers of fabric or simply by correct folding of the same strip of fabric on itself in order to obtain several thicknesses. This strip of fabric 1 is then passed under the tool of a perforating machine, for example of the high-frequency machine type, in which the sonotrode makes it possible to cut a part of the strip of fabric to obtain a hole or perforation 2 or more rows of holes 2 equidistant and parallel as shown in fig. 1, and at the same time an upper and lower thinning 3, 4 (see fig. 2) while creating on the edge of each hole 2, an extra thickness 5 at the upper part of the thinning 4, extra thickness having substantially the shape d '' a half-cylinder thus making it possible to form a retainer for the hook 6 (see fig. 3) which is blocked between the upper face of the extra thickness 5 and the upper part of the thinning 3 disposed at the lower part of the strip of fabric 1.

One thus obtains a completely correct blocking of the hook 6 in each hole 2 considered, but also protection of the lower part of the hook 6, the end of which cannot come into contact with the skin of the user especially when it comes to the closure by stapling of a bra or similar undergarment.

The fact of creating the hole 2 by perforation by means of an ultrasonic device gives, due to the constitution of the strips of fabric, perfectly regular edges of each hole or perforation 2 thus ensuring a very beautiful presentation of the retaining tape or tape. The hooks 6 can be made of metal but most often they are made of synthetic material, soft to the touch and not irritating the skin. In certain cases it is also possible, from a strip of fabric 1 having only one thickness, to create rows of perforations 10 (see fig. 4) by superimposing on the strip of fabric 1 a strip of material 11 which, under the effect of the work of the ultrasound machine, is welded to the strip of fabric 1 from place to place, thereby creating an additional thickness 12 also perforated, this additional thickness 12 constituting the stop member of each hook.

It should be noted that the excess material is removed from the upper part of the fabric strip 1, thus ensuring excellent presentation of the stapling strips.

In the previous cases, a strip 1 of indefinite length has been shown, but it is obvious that during the work of the perforating machine, for example, every two rows of perforations 2 is caused, a cutting of the strip 1 in order to '' obtain a stapling strip, comprising two, four, six or eight perforations, correctly arranged so that it can be easily fixed by modern means on the end of a bra or similar undergarment, this strip stapling easily cooperating with the hook-carrying strip attached to the other end of the piece of clothing. In addition, at the time of cutting, it is possible to place under the strip 1 a strip 100 which is welded peripherally under the strip 1, avoiding contact between the hook (s) and the skin of the user.

In fig. 5, there is shown a stapling strip for a piece of clothing which is constituted by a double thickness of fabrics 20, 21 correctly fixed to each other as explained above and which has two rows 22 , 23 of perforations 24 having a semi-circular shape but, between the two thicknesses of fabric 20, 21 is placed an interlayer 25 of flexible material included between the two thicknesses of fabric so that, when the perforations 24 are produced, only the upper layer 20 is perforated since the film 25 already has perforations 26 correctly arranged from the outset.

Thus the hooks 27 mounted on a suitable support 28 can penetrate into the open space delimited by the perforations 24 and 26 but the lower face 27a of each hook 27 comes to rest on the lower strip of fabric 21 without being in contact with the skin.

The assembly described above in figs. 5 and 6 therefore allows easy stapling without any risk for the user, therefore very comfortable, but also due to the free ends of each stapling strip indicated by 29, 30 and by the free ends indicated by 31, 32 of the strip. stapling forming support 28 of hooks 27, one can fix easily and quickly by conventional welding methods, the two stapling elements on the ends of a piece of clothing.

In fig. 7 there is shown a stapling strip 35 having on its left side two lips 36, 37 for fixing and this strip has aligned and equidistant perforations 38 whose right edge is reinforced by a wire of resistant material so as to create a zone of great resistance along the right side of each perforation 38 which, in general, is pierced only in the upper element of the stapling strip so that the hooks do not come into contact with the skin of the user.

In fig. 8, the stapling strip 40, comprising two fixing lips 41, 21 on the left-hand side, also consists of a double thickness of fabric between which spacers 43 are placed (see FIG. 9) having on their right face rounded 43a. When the assembly is placed under the perforating machine, the sonotrode cuts perforations 44 equidistant parallel and aligned. Thus this stapling strip allows the installation of the hooks as described, for the example of FIG. 7, with very good resistance.

In FIG. 10, the stapling strip 45 includes fixing lips 46, 47 and the perforations 48 are produced by placing rings of weldable material 49 aligned, equidistant and parallel before the perforations 48 are produced. strong stapling strips, safe for users.

Fig. 11 shows dividers 50 of tubular shape (see FIG. 15) suitably arranged which are fixed on a single thickness of fabric 51 so as to be able to create perforations 52 in the strip 51. The hooks are then isolated from the skin by the external part spacers 50. The lips 52, 53 allow, as in. the previous examples, easy attachment of the stapling strip to the garment.

Figs. 12 and 13 show stapling strips and hook-holding strips which are produced by two superimposed layers of fabric 60, 61 with dividers 63 suitably arranged leaving a large free space between them so as to create oblong perforations 64 allowing easy penetration and secure hooking of hooks 65 having in section a rectangular shape, these hooks being fixed on strips 66 having two lips 67, 68 for welding on the piece of clothing. The double thickness stapling strip 60, 61 also includes lips 60a, 61a for fixing to the item of clothing.

Finally, in fig. 16, the stapling strip comprises an interlayer constituted by a grid 70 produced by filaments of the natural or synthetic horsehair type, for example horsehair known in the trade under the name of "nylon horsehair". This grid 70 is fixed by any suitable means to the fabric strip 71 having fixing wings 72, 73 then the perforations 74 suitably arranged are produced when the stapling strip is ready. The perforations 74 can be made through the strip 71, the grid 70 but, it is also possible to provide under the grid 70 a layer of non-perforated fabric thus isolating the hooks from the skin.

As emerges from the description above, the stapling device according to the invention eliminates all rigid reinforcements by using mesh fabrics, non-woven fabrics or taffeta without the addition of hard elements. It is thus possible to make very narrow closures since the cutting of the male or female strip can be carried out at the edge of the perforations. This advantage is considerable because it makes it possible to use the stapling device of the invention for the adjustment of shoulder straps by harmonizing on each width of shoulder straps. In addition, this stapling device makes it possible to obtain cuts and colors varied and therefore adapt aesthetically to clothing, children's clothing, sports, etc. As described above, the total thickness is generally reduced by the material of the prior devices and therefore contributes to perfect general harmony.

Claims (9)

1 - Stapling strip for making clothes and underwear, consisting of two elements of the same width, one carrying aligned perforations and the other hooks intended to penetrate the perforations, characterized in that the strip female stapling consists of one or more equidistant parallel rows of perforations (2) which are produced by means of a machine, the perforation member of which causes either by heating or by ultrasound and molding an extra thickness ( 5) bordering the perforation in the direction of attachment of the hook so as to block the latter between this additional thickness (5) and the upper bottom of a lower thinning (3). 2 - Stapling strip according to claim 1, characterized in that the support strip (1) in fabric is covered with a strip of material (11) then, when the perforation is carried out, the covering strip (11 ) is glued or welded and cut appropriately to form around the perforation (10) an extra thickness (12) allowing the hook to be blocked. 3 - Stapling strip according to claim 1, characterized in that the female strip (20, 21) internally comprises spacers (25) suitably arranged then perforations (24) are made on the upper strip (20) between the spacers (25) so as to produce reinforcements allowing the locking of hooks (27). 4 - Stapling strip according to one of claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the spacers are made on son (39) placed in line with the perforations (38) hook side to constitute the reinforcement each time. 5 - Stapling strip according to one of claims 1, 3 and 4, characterized in that the spacers (43) have in the vertical direction rounded (43a) forming the reinforcements to the right of the perforations cooperating with the hooks. 6 - Stapling strip according to one of claims 1, 3, 4 and 5, characterized in that the reinforcements are constituted by tubular inserts placed either under the perforation strips, or between the perforation strip and a strip of protection placed between the skin. 7 - Stapling strip according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the perforations are circular (2, 10), semi-rectangular (24, 30, 44, 48.52), oblong (64 ). 8 - Stapling strip according to claim 1, characterized in that the reinforcing part is constituted by a grid (70) produced by filaments of the natural or synthetic kind. 9 - Stapling strip according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a limited surface of the strip is cut at the time of the perforations so as to weld the outer edges of each female element.
