Diese Teilbereiche mit den dort als « Gummierungen » bezeichneten Klebebeschichtungen sind umlegbar, und dafür sind zwei Falzlinien auf der Verschlußklappe vorhanden. Auf der Versandtaschenrückwand können ebenfalls zwei Klebebeschichtungen vorhanden sein, die die Adhäsion der Klebebeschichtungen auf der Verschlußklappe verstärken. Claims (3)

1. A postal envelope having a foldable flap attached to the front wall thereof which may be folded on to the back wall along a fold line and which may be secured by means of an adhesive coating, the envelope being usable with both multiply-openable pressure-sensitive fasteners and also with durable letter closures, characterised in that the total area of the foldable flap (4) is divided by a fold line (11) parallel to its marginal edge (6) into two approximately equal halves (13, 14), a single adhesive coating (9) is provided on the inner surface (7) of the foldable flap in the area (13) lying next to the marginal edge (6) and in that an adhesive coating (15) is provided on the envelope rear wall (3), in one area thereof corresponding to the area (14) of the foldable flap (4) adjacent the upper edge and parallel thereto and a non-stick coating (17) is provided in an area thereof corresponding to the area (13) of the foldable flap (4) adjacent the adhesive coating (15) and parallel thereto.
2. A postal envelope according to claim 1, characterised in that the adhesive coatings (9) and (15) are self adhesive strips, which are supplied with removable protective coverings (10) and (16) respectively.
3. A postal envelope according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the fold line (5) and/or the fold line (11) are perforated or folded or otherwise made as tear line(s) in known manner.
