A pin staple with screw comprising an outer body (6) carrying a central rotatably locked shank (9), a spring (8) between said body and a nut (11) on a threaded portion of said central shank which is, moreover, narrower in its terminal portion, a pair of staple branches (1 and 2) crimped in the other terminal portion of said central shank, a spreader (3) lying between said staple branches and an application washer (10) of the nut upon the spring, said staple being characterized in that the outer body (6) comprises a lower portion of plastics material (6b) and an upper metallic portion (6a) having an outer hexagonal socket head (6a) and an inner recess (16) therein as well as athreading (13) of the artillerytype in its central area, said upper portion (6a) being axially fitted according to its central threaded area into the lower plastics portion (6b), whereby such fitting causes - in addition to the securement of both portions (6a and 6b) - immobilization of the branches (1 and 2) and of the spreader (3) by bringing into application the branches (3a and 3b) of the spreader, first against a first washer (14) located between the end of the upper portion (6a) and the inner bottom of the lower portion (6b), then against a second washer (15) located against the inner recess (16) in the upper portion (6a).
