Bei einer Anlage zum Beschichten von Werkstücken mit einer Flüssigkeit, bspw. zum elektrostatischen Lak­ kieren von Kraftfahrzeug-Karosserien in Fliessbandbe­ trieb, mit Zerstäubern für die Flüssigkeit, bei der ein Flüssigkeitsdruckregler zwischen einem Flüssigkeits­ wechsler und mindestens einem, an den Flüssigkeits­ wechsler angeschlossenen Zerstäuber angeordnet ist, wird ein druckluftgesteuerter Flüssigkeitsregler verwen­ det. An seiner Membran (48) ist an der der Beschich­ tungsflüssigkeitskammer zugewandten Seite eine ver­ dickte Platte (58) angebracht, die den Einlass (52) für die Beschichtungsflüssigkeit bei maximalem Luftdruck über­ deckt. Dadurch wird um die Platte in der Kammer ein ringförmiger Raum geschaffen. Eine Nut (64) in der Platte verbindet den Einlass mit dem ringförmigen Raum. In den Einlass (52) wird Spülflüssigkeit gegeben. Der Umfang der Kammer wird durch das Strömen der Spül­ flüssigkeit im ringförmigen Raum besonders gut gerei­ nigt.
