Description

The invention relates to a floor stand made of folding material with a container for receiving and presenting goods, which is attached with its bottom to a polygonal cross-section foot, which has hinged walls by longitudinal folding lines, with two opposite walls in the longitudinal direction of the center Kink lines are designed such that the foot can be folded flat against the container.

Such a floor stand is described in US-A-3836104. The foot consists of a front wall and a rear wall, which are connected to each other by triangular side walls, each with a longitudinal fold line. The unfolded foot therefore has a pyramidal shape. A horizontal transverse fold line runs approximately in the middle of the foot. The part of the front wall of the foot above is glued to the bottom of the container. The foot can be folded close to the container when folded flat, with the lower part of the foot being folded onto its upper part. From this shipping position, the foot is unfolded by first bringing it into the stretched position, with an elastic band in the foot erecting a flap that presses the front wall and the rear wall of the foot apart, which then gives the foot its pyramidal shape.

This floor stand is thus relatively complicated, in particular due to the elastic band, the ends of which must be attached to separate tabs. If the elastic band is torn, the foot can no longer be unfolded in a few simple steps; you have to pull the front wall and the back wall of the foot apart with two hands. Again, this is difficult to do when the container is full. Another disadvantage is that the container is in a very strongly inclined position, e.g. H. parallel to the inclination of the front wall of the foot. Smaller articles can therefore not be stored and presented in any number in the container, because they would otherwise fall out of the open container. Examples of floor stands also made of folded material, the foot having protrusions projecting upwards, which engage in corresponding slots or recesses in the floor or in one of the walls of the container, can be found in US-AS 164 350 and German utility model 1 904353 . Although the container rests on the upper edge of the unfolded foot and therefore essentially assumes a horizontal position, the unfolding is also cumbersome here, in particular because care must be taken to ensure that the projections engage in the slots assigned to them. This is not possible when the container is full, so that the container can only be filled after the floor stand has been unfolded.

Zum Auffalten muß der Behälter seitlich zum Fuß verschwenkt werden, was ebenfalls umständlich ist.US-A-2 920 852 describes a floor stand, also made of pleated material, the flat folded foot being clamped to the flat folded container. To unfold the container must be pivoted sideways to the foot, which is also cumbersome.

The invention has for its object to design a floor stand of the type mentioned in such a way that the foot can be unfolded in a few simple steps from a position in which it lies flat against the bottom of the container at least with its upper part.

To achieve this object, the invention is characterized in that an adhesive flap is hinged to the upper edges of the front wall and the rear wall of the foot, which are glued to the bottom of the container at a distance from each other and that one of the walls connected to the adhesive flaps in one is laterally unconnected to this adhesive flap area at the bottom and is hinged to this wall via a further folding line.

To unfold the foot, only the - unfolded or also flat-folded - container needs to be pivoted relative to the foot, whereby, due to the features mentioned, the front wall and the rear wall of the flat-folded foot are spaced from each other, so that the foot becomes his tubular shape is unfolded.

It is preferred if the side walls are rounded in their area adjacent to the free punching. This makes it easier to unfold.

In addition, it is preferred if two horizontal transverse fold lines are formed in the foot, the spacing of which corresponds approximately to the height of the container. As a result, the foot can be folded flat in a U-shape around the unfolded container and thus takes up little additional space (according to the subject of EP-AL-0 013 989).

It increases the stability of the unfolded foot if a further central transverse fold line is formed in the middle between the two horizontal transverse fold lines, material punchings being provided on the longitudinal edges of the foot between the three transverse fold lines. This feature is known per se from US-A-3300 166. The material parts between the two outer transverse fold lines serve as stabilizing flanges for the unfolded foot.

The unfolding is further facilitated if a rubber ring is placed around the central transverse folding line. The rubber ring pulls the stabilizing flanges towards the center and also folds the foot automatically.

  • Figur 1 den fertig aufgestellten Bodenaufsteller in einer Seitenansicht;
  • Figur 2 den Bodenaufsteller nach Fig. 1 bei flach gefaltetem aber gestrecktem Fuß, von der Unterseite des Behälters her gestehen ;
The invention is based on Embodiments explained in more detail. It shows :
  • Figure 1 shows the finished floor stand in a side view;
  • Figure 2, the floor stand according to Figure 1 with the foot folded flat but straight, from the bottom of the container;
  • Figure 3 shows the blank for the foot of Fig. 1 and 2, and without the usual adhesive tabs that connect the free edges of the blank with each other.

The floor stand consists of a rectangular container 1 and a tubular base 2 with a rectangular cross section.

The container 1 has a lid 3. The foot 2 has three folding lines 4, 5 and 6 running parallel to one another approximately in the central region of the foot, between which wall parts 14, 15 are formed. At the upper end of the foot, namely on its rear wall 10, an adhesive flap 7 is articulated, which is glued to a base 8 of the container 1 at a suitable point. The distance between the upper edge of the rear wall 10 and the uppermost fold line 6 is equal to the distance of the relevant part of the bottom 8 of the container 1. This is shown in Fig. 2, from which it follows that when the foot is folded flat, the fold line 6 with the relevant one Edge 11 of the container 1 coincides.

The distance between the two outer fold lines 4 and 6 is equal to the height of the container 1, so that the lower fold line 4 coincides with the front upper edge of the container 1. A lower part 13 of the foot can be folded flat onto the top of the container.

The entire floor stand can therefore be shipped with a volume that is practically no greater than the volume of the container 1.

The foot 2 is additionally glued to the bottom 8 of the container 1 via a further adhesive tab 20. To make it easier to unfold, the part of the front wall of the foot adjoining the adhesive flap 20 is separated from the adjacent walls by two cutting lines 21, which are arched there (arch 22). The intersection lines 21 extend to a transverse fold line 23 of this wall.

Die Breite des flach gefalteten Fußes 2 entspricht derjenigen des Behälters 1.The width of the flat folded foot 2 corresponds to that of the container 1.

Continuous fold lines 16 are formed in the longitudinal direction on two opposite walls of the foot, in which the foot is folded flat.

To set up the flat folded foot, it is first laid straight, as shown in FIG. 2. The foot is then unfolded in a tube. This is done by pivoting the container 1 relative to the flat folded foot 2, starting from the position shown in FIG. 2. After pivoting, the foot is unfolded, as shown in Fig. 1.

To support the unfolding process and stability, a rubber band can pull the wall parts 14 and 15 inwards, which is placed around the middle fold line. The wall parts 14, 15 are folded inwards and form a stabilizing flange. Die cutouts 17 in these wall parts facilitate the formation of the stabilizing flange.
