Description

The invention relates to an inner window seal in the form of a strand of elastic material, the profile of which consists of a web with an anchoring groove with a latching lip on one side and a sealing lip and at least one clamping lip on the opposite side, the sealing lip and the anchoring groove in the area of one web end are arranged and the other web end runs out in the form of a nose which is adjacent to the lowermost clamping lip and curved towards the side of the anchoring groove.

Such window seals are known from German utility model 7 630 575. They primarily serve to subsequently, i.e. after insertion of the window pane into the frame, to be pressed between the window pane and the glass retaining strip, the glass retaining strip having an anchoring groove or rib which fixes the inner window seal in place.

The object on which the invention is based was now to obtain an improved inner window seal compared to this prior art, which facilitates assembly, has a more stable fit and requires less material for its production and is therefore cheaper to produce.

The window seal according to the invention with the features mentioned above is characterized in that the web consists at least in the area of the nose and the adjacent clamping lip of a hard and the rest of the seal of a soft elastic material that / from the straight line through the respective apex of the Nose and the adjacent clamping lip on the one hand and the angle (α) enclosed by the center of the base line of this clamping lip on the other hand is 100 to 140 °, that the angle (ß) that is from the straight line through the apex and the center of the base line of each clamping lip and one Straight lines parallel to the retaining strip contact surface of the anchoring groove is included, is 80 to 120 ° and that the angle of the straight lines through the respective apex of the nose and the latching lip on the one hand and through the center of the base line adjoining the nose. the clamping lip, on the other hand, is 90 - 120 °.

Interior window seals with these features have a number of advantages over similarly constructed interior window seals, such as those known from German Utility Model 7 630 575.

The assembly of these inner window seals is made considerably easier since, with a single pressure, a greater length of the strand is pressed into the gap between the window pane and the glass retaining strip, so that fewer pressure points are required for a specific assembly length. If the bridge including the snap-in lip is made of the hard material, the snap-in of the glass retaining strip into the anchoring groove can also be determined acoustically, which further facilitates assembly. The stiffening of the locking lip also ensures a more stable fit.

Overall, the web and the clamping lip can be made thinner than according to the prior art, so that less material is used for the production of the window interior seals according to the invention and thus the production is cheaper.

Finally, an important advantage of the window interior seals according to the invention is that the elongations due to assembly are reduced or even completely eliminated. When the sealing strip is pressed in, the strip expands in length in the case of known inner window seals, but contracts again over time after assembly, with the result that an unsealed area arises, since the sealing strip in the elongated state at the end of the Window frame was cut off. Because the web is at least partially made of hard elastic material, assembly-related elongations are avoided entirely or substantially.

The ease of assembly of the window interior seals according to the invention is based in part on the fact that the strand has a higher rigidity in the assembly direction, but also in part on the fact that the profile slides better over the glass retaining strip.

The sealing strip according to the invention consists of elastomers or optionally also plastomers differently hardness that can be coextruded in a manner known per se (see for example DE-OS 2 124 987). The sealing strip according to the invention can thus be produced by extrusion in one operation.

Das weiche elastische Material dagegen besitzt zweckmäßig eine Shore A-Härte von 55 bis 80.Any natural rubber and / or synthetic rubber known per se can be used as elastic materials for the window interior seals according to the invention. The hard elastic material suitably has a Shore A hardness of 90 to 100 or a Shore D hardness of 50 to 60. The soft elastic material, on the other hand, suitably has a Shore A hardness of 55 to 80.

It is essential that the web of the sealing profile at least in the area of the nose, i.e. the end facing away from the sealing lip, including the starting point of the clamping lip adjacent to the nose, is made of hard material. Appropriately, however, the web consists at least up to the height of the latching lip made of the hard material, since this further facilitates assembly and improves the fit. It is particularly preferred to have the web as a whole, ie from the nose to the base of the sealing lip, made of hard material.

The transitions from the hard elastic to the soft elastic material can be chosen arbitrarily. For example, the boundary line between the two materials can be straight, curved, angled or even zigzag-shaped. It is also possible to allow the hard material to protrude a certain distance into one or the other of the clamping lips and into the sealing lip.

It is particularly expedient if the hard material of the nose extends into the region of the base line of the clamping lip adjacent to the nose, i.e. up to about the turning point of the curvature of the outer contour at the transition from the nose to the adjacent clamping lip.

It is particularly expedient if the straight line for each of the clamping lips runs essentially perpendicular to its base line between its apex and the center of its base line. In other cases, too, it is expedient if the straight lines passing through the respective apex points and the center of the respective base line of all clamping lips run essentially parallel to one another.

Der Winkel ß liegt zweckmäßig bei etwa 90°.A preferred range for the angle α is 115 to 135 °, a preferred range for the angle δ is 100 to .110 °. The angle β is expediently around 90 °.

It is particularly expedient if the angle δ enclosed by the straight line passing through the apex of the snap-in lip and through the center of the base line of the clamping lip adjoining the nose and a straight line parallel to the holding strip support surface is at least 30, preferably 35 to 45 °.

The window interior seals according to the invention have at least one clamping lip. In the case of a clamping lip, this is adjacent to the nose on the lower web end. Further clamping lips can be arranged between this clamping lip adjacent to the nose and the sealing lip. In general, no more than three such additional clamping lips are provided. Preferred profiles have a total of two clamping lips, the lower of which is adjacent to the nose.

In the case of more than one clamping lip, the clamping lips arranged between the sealing lip and the lowermost clamping lip, which is located in the vicinity of the nose, are expediently oriented such that the straight line passing through the apex and through the center of the base line of the respective clamping lip is essentially is perpendicular to the support strip support surface.

The straight lines between the vertex and the center of the base line on one of the clamping lips are practically the co telaxes of the relevant clamping lips. The base line of the respective clamping lip is drawn in the profile in such a way that it connects those points on the contour of the profile at which the attachment of the clamping lip can be assumed due to the shape of the profile. If the web has flat surfaces, the lip should be assumed at the point of transition from the straight section of the contour of the web to the curved section of the contour of the clamping lip. At the transition from the nose to the adjacent clamping lip, this point lies at the turning point of the curvature of the contour.

Buchstaben bezeichnet. The invention is further explained by the drawing. In all four figures, the same parts are labeled with the same reference numbers or letters.
