- fleece and hook tape should of course also be understood to mean short tape sections which are attached to the web edges at intervals from one another.
- the height of the recess formed by the said strip-shaped region is at least approximately of the velcro fastening.
- one of the two elements of a Velcro fastener can be attached to the web in any way.
- the coating compositions usually used also form good adhesives, it is advisable to place one element of the Velcro fastener on the underside of the web during the manufacture of the fabric web as long as the coating material has not yet solidified, ie in a preferred embodiment of the fabric web according to the invention the first element of the Velcro fastener is glued to the web by the coating compound. Since particularly advantageous coating compositions polymerize or condense under the influence of heat and / or heat, it is also advisable to to glue the Velcro fastener of the Velcro fastener, which is insensitive to such heat, to the product web.
- the textile core layer is coated with the coating composition by dipping.
- the above-mentioned recess can be produced particularly simply by at least partially removing the coating composition before it solidifies in the strip-shaped region, in particular with the aid of a doctor blade or the like. is stripped. In this way, subsequent milling or the like can be saved.
- the invention also provides a particularly simple laying method in which the webs are designed to be abutted with first Velcro fastener elements attached to their longitudinal edges, whereupon the adjacent longitudinal edge regions of two webs, starting from one end of the webs, are each raised over a short distance and are bent upwards, and further, starting at the end mentioned, the band-shaped second Velcro fastener element is inserted from above into the gap between the webs and opened underneath them, whereupon the longitudinal edge regions of the two webs onto the second Velcro fastener. Element lowered and connected to each other via this.
- This method can be carried out most simply by a device which, according to the invention, uses a ploughshare-like tool to open the gap between two mutually adjacent material webs, a receptacle for a supply of the second Velcro fastener element, and a deflection element for the second Velcro fastener element, which is designed in particular as a rotatably mounted roller and is arranged directly above the lower edge of the tool, is characterized.
- the piece of an artificial lawn 10 shown in FIG. 1 has an in particular knitted textile base support 12, in which pole strips 14 extruded from plastic are anchored.
- rib-shaped projections were coated with a backing coating 14 in order to securely fix the pole ties 14 in the base support 12.
- the back coating mass 14 suitably consists of thermoplastic Ma material and especially from soft PVC.
- the loose knitted fabric of the base support 12 thus remains permeable to water between the coated ribs.
- the piece of an elastic and also water-permeable base 20 shown in FIG. 2 has a textile core layer made of core threads 22; which is covered with a foamed thermoplastic material, in particular foamed soft PVC 24. This coating forms on the underside of the base 2o knob-shaped projections 26, between which there are openings 28 in the vertical direction.
- Fig. 3 shows a plan view of a piece of the textile core 3o of the base 2 0 , which according to the invention is a Raschelware, in which there are fields 34, spaced apart from one another, between rows of stitches 32 formed by the threads 22, in which plastic bands 36 are guided back and forth between the rows of stitches 22 in a zigzag shape. If one dips such a structure into a liquid plastic mass, which can later be solidified, for example, under the influence of heat, and stretches the base produced in this way horizontally, the knob-shaped projections 26 shown in FIG. 2 automatically form on its underside Manufacturing process thus leads particularly simply to the structure shown in FIG. 2.
- Fig. 4 shows a piece of a modified base 2 0 'with knob-shaped projections 26' and openings 28 ', which differs from the embodiment of FIG. 2 only in that on the upper side of the base 2 0 'according to the invention bead-like projections 29', the openings 28 'is surrounded, so that between these bead-like projections trough-shaped recesses 27' result.
- the bead-like projections 29 ' can easily be achieved by a slight modification of the manufacturing method according to the invention for the documents in question, since one simply has to cause the as yet unconsolidated covering material to flow slightly beyond the edges of the fields 34 (see FIG. 3), if necessary in the course of foaming the coating material.
- FIG. 6 shows a cross section through small sections of the band-shaped components of a known so-called Velcro fastener.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a floor covering material web with an upper side having a pole and an underside at least partially provided with a coating material. In particular, the invention is concerned with so-called artificial turf for sports fields and the like.
Known webs of this type have a woven, knitted or knitted textile base support, in which the pile threads are anchored and the underside of which is wholly or partly provided with a flexible coating material, in particular soft PVC. In the case of only partial back coating of the textile base support for better fixing of the pile threads, it is also known to fasten the textile base support provided with the pile on a base, which essentially consists of a textile core layer covered with a coating material, which is also the case in this case the coating composition is in particular soft PVC. This document can be a completely closed one Form a layer or have openings defining vertical passages.
Especially for sports facilities, the requirement has recently been raised to be able to easily attach and remove a floor covering in question, for example in order to be able to practice a first type of sport on a hard surface at a certain time, but at another time football on a grass-like floor covering, To play hockey or the like.
This requirement can now be met, according to the invention, with flooring material webs of the type mentioned at the outset if the thickness of the coating composition is kept smaller at least along one edge in a strip-shaped area than in the adjacent material web area, if a first in the strip-shaped area Element of a Velcro tape and hook tape is attached Velcro and when the second element of the Velcro is finally provided for connecting two adjacent webs. To cover a sports field with an artificial turf, the webs are simply laid side by side and abutting and connected with the known so-called Velcro fasteners, so that they can be easily detached from each other and rolled up to remove the artificial turf.
The so-called fleece tapes of the well-known Velcro fasteners are textile tapes designed in the manner of a handle plush, in the plush handles of which the upright pole is located Elements of the hook straps get caught when you press the hook and loop straps against each other. The pole elements of the hook straps are sections of stiff plastic threads that are designed in the shape of hooks or mushrooms at their upper, free ends.
If we are talking about fleece and hook tape above, this should of course also be understood to mean short tape sections which are attached to the web edges at intervals from one another.
In order to obtain a completely flat surface of the floor covering, corresponds, in a preferred exporting - the thickness approximately of the invention, the height of the recess formed by the said strip-shaped region is at least approximately of the velcro fastening.
In principle, one of the two elements of a Velcro fastener can be attached to the web in any way. However, since the coating compositions usually used also form good adhesives, it is advisable to place one element of the Velcro fastener on the underside of the web during the manufacture of the fabric web as long as the coating material has not yet solidified, ie in a preferred embodiment of the fabric web according to the invention the first element of the Velcro fastener is glued to the web by the coating compound. Since particularly advantageous coating compositions polymerize or condense under the influence of heat and / or heat, it is also advisable to to glue the Velcro fastener of the Velcro fastener, which is insensitive to such heat, to the product web.
In the production of the known floor coverings with an underlay, the textile core layer is coated with the coating composition by dipping. In this case, the above-mentioned recess can be produced particularly simply by at least partially removing the coating composition before it solidifies in the strip-shaped region, in particular with the aid of a doctor blade or the like. is stripped. In this way, subsequent milling or the like can be saved.
The invention also provides a particularly simple laying method in which the webs are designed to be abutted with first Velcro fastener elements attached to their longitudinal edges, whereupon the adjacent longitudinal edge regions of two webs, starting from one end of the webs, are each raised over a short distance and are bent upwards, and further, starting at the end mentioned, the band-shaped second Velcro fastener element is inserted from above into the gap between the webs and opened underneath them, whereupon the longitudinal edge regions of the two webs onto the second Velcro fastener. Element lowered and connected to each other via this. This method can be carried out most simply by a device which, according to the invention, uses a ploughshare-like tool to open the gap between two mutually adjacent material webs, a receptacle for a supply of the second Velcro fastener element, and a deflection element for the second Velcro fastener element, which is designed in particular as a rotatably mounted roller and is arranged directly above the lower edge of the tool, is characterized. You then only need to fasten one strap of the Velcro fastener, in particular the hook strap, at the end of two webs to be connected to one another, for example nailing it to the ground, whereupon the device travels along the joint between the two adjacent webs and at the same time the hook strap under the two material webs is designed so that akenband to H after the dropping back of the longitudinal edge regions of the two material webs are joined together by hook tape.

The piece of an
The piece of an elastic and also water-
Fig. 3 shows a plan view of a piece of the textile core 3o of the base 2 0 , which according to the invention is a Raschelware, in which there are
Fig. The bead-like projections 29 'can easily be achieved by a slight modification of the manufacturing method according to the invention for the documents in question, since one simply has to cause the as yet unconsolidated covering material to flow slightly beyond the edges of the fields 34 (see FIG. 3), if necessary in the course of foaming the coating material.
The so-called loop tape was designated with 5o, the so-called hook tape with 52. Both have a mostly plastic-coated or laminated, band-shaped
The two in Fig. Section 5 represented by the facing longitudinal edge portions adjacent
Fig. 7 shows the two
According to the ploughshare 1 0 6 is designed so that the
The material webs can be laid loosely on a suitable surface. With the help of hook tapes coated with a self-adhesive on their underside, a connection between the material webs and the substrate can also be achieved. The direction of advance of the laying device was marked with an arrow in FIG. 7.
The ploughshare lo6 fastened to the lower end of the
