Claims (5)

1. Verfahren zur Gasumrührung eines Metallbades, das in einem Schmelztiegel enthalten ist, bei welchem durch die am Boden des Tiegels montierten, durchlässigen, feuerfesten Elemente hindurch ein Rührmittel eingeleitet wird, das zumindest temporär durch ein organisches Fluid gebildet wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Fluid ein Kohlenwasserstoff ist, der bei Normaltemperatur und Normaldruck in flüssigem Zustand vorliegt oder unter einem Druck verflüssigbar ist, der niedriger als jener Druck ist, mit welchem das Fluid über die durchlässigen feuerfesten Elemente eingeleitet wird.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der flüssige Kohlenwasserstoff vor dem Ende des Rührvorganges durch ein inertes Gas ersetzt wird.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das inerte Gas Argon ist.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das inerte Gas Stickstoff ist.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass bei einem Metallbad, das ein Roheisenbad beim Sauerstofffrischen ist, der flüssige Kohlenwasserstoff frühestens am Ende der Entkohlungsphase des Bades durch ein inertes Gas ersetzt wird.
