Mittels eines nichtdargestellten Förderbandes wird der Stapelvorrichtung ein kontinuierlicher Strom von sich überlappenden Zeitungen 10 zugeführt. Diese gelangen auf die Eingangsförderstrecke 11, wo sie auf einen mit einem Zählund Steuereinrichtung verbundenen Fühler 12 einwirken. Wenn eine bestimmte Zahl von z. B. 25 Zeitungen vom Fühler 12 erfaßt wurden, wird ein Impuls ausgelöst, der einen unterbrecher 13 betätigt, der in dem Zeitungsstrom eine Lücke hervorruft. Die vorbestimmte Zahl von in Bewegungsrichtung hinter der Lücke liegenden Zeitungen werden weitergefördert und an einer Sammelstelle in einem Zwischenstapel 15 auf einem Greifer 14 abgelegt. Wenn der Zwischenstapel fertig ist, wird der Greifer 14 schräg nach unten geführt. so daß die Zeitungen in einem schwenkbaren Behälter 16 gesammelt werden. Nachdem eine bestimmte Zahl von einen Zwischenstapel bildenden Zeitungen von dem Behälter 16 aufgenommen wurde, wird dieser um eine senkrechte Achse um 180° gedreht.   1. A stacking device for newspapers (10) which are supplied on a conveyor belt of an entry conveyor line (11) of the device and which overlap one another, having a feeler (12) disposed near the entry conveyor line (11) and linked to an electronic counting and control device, and two separating members (13, 18) driven by the counting and control device, one of said separating members being an interruptor (13) which produces a break in the flow of overlapping newspapers (10) and the other being a deflecting tongue (18) disposed at the end of the entry conveyor line (11) and dividing the flow of newspapers that arrives between two breaks between two separate collecting points (16, 20) in a time sequence,
