Description

Kopfhautbefeuchter gemäss Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a scalp applicator or scalp humidifier according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

A scalp applicator of this type is known (CH-A-179 597), in which the outlet openings at the free front end of the tines, i.e. are arranged on the forehead which comes into direct contact with the scalp during application. To avoid the blockage, these end faces are concave. With this arrangement of the outlet openings, the application field when applying and rubbing the liquid to be applied on the scalp is practically limited to the cross-sectional area of the front ends. It is not possible to apply a massage with the aid of the resilient trunk at the same time as the forehead is flattened with every pressure and the escape of application fluid is impeded. Moreover, there is the possibility of sebum accumulation in the concave concavity of the forehead, which prevents both the leakage and the distribution of the liquid. On the other hand, the position of the outlet openings in the middle of the front ends does not allow for sufficiently targeted wetting, since the liquid from the concave front surface can be distributed in all directions and, depending on the pressure or tilting or also the accumulation of sebum, certain areas at all in the concave end not and others get too wet. It is entirely possible that there is overwetting in the area between the proboscis, since liquid can reach this area from both proboscis.

The object of the invention is to develop a scalp applicator according to the preamble of patent claim 1 in such a way that targeted scalp wetting or scalp application is possible while preventing any waste of tincture.

This object is achieved by the characterized features of patent claim 1. The position of the spray openings on the sides facing away from one another allows a broader application field when applying and rubbing the liquid to be applied onto the scalp, since there is no mutual hindrance from the other trunk. The cross-sectional design of the proboscis allows the outlet openings to be brought as close as possible to the scalp without the openings themselves coming into contact with the scalp. As a result, there is no risk of constipation and the advantage is achieved that only the scalp and not also large parts of the hair are wetted due to the close proximity to the scalp. The cross-sectional design has the further advantage that a clean guidance is guaranteed, the skid-like design simultaneously with the application also making a massage effect possible.

An applicator is known from US Pat. No. 3,353,721 which has a plurality of tines which are round in cross section and which, at a distance from the end, each have an outlet opening on the same side, which lie in a radial plane common to all tines.

Further developments of the invention result from the subclaims. Thus, the measures according to claim 2 allow particularly precise guidance. Such a measure is known in principle from DE-C-870 888.

The measures according to claim 3 make it possible to use the best materials for the proboscis and the bottle and to clean the proboscis independently if they are clogged or contaminated by any residue from the inside. Forming proboscis as part of a bottle stopper is e.g. known from the dye applicator according to US-A-3 523 630.

The invention is explained below with reference to schematic drawings of an embodiment.
  • 1 shows a scalp applicator or scalp humidifier designed as a stand-up bottle when viewed obliquely from above.
  • Fig. 2 shows a vertical partial section through a trunk with an adjacent bottle cap.
  • 3 shows a plug-in closure for the proboscis of the scalp applicator or scalp humidifier according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • Fig. 4 shows a partial view of the position of the outlet or spray opening of a proboscis.
  • FIG. 5 is a cross section along the line VV in FIG. 4.
  • 6 shows in a view and in plan view on a reduced scale the handling of the scalp applicator or scalp humidifier according to the preceding figures.

Befeuchter aufweist. The scalp applicator or scalp humidifier according to FIG. 1 is designed as a standing bottle made of two parts. One part forms the bottle 1 serving to absorb liquid, the other part the bottle cap 2, which has the actual applicator or humidifier.

The bottle has a cuboid bulged foot 3, which merges smoothly into a neck 4 with a smaller cross-section, approximately the shape of a truncated pyramid, the walls of which are slightly convex and which has a screw thread 5 for the closure 2 at the top.

The closure is designed as a screw cap 6 with a cap 7 and extended up to two forked hollow proboscis 8, the interior of which is open to the interior of the bottle. The two proboscis lie parallel to one another and extend inclined from one cuboid side of the bottle neck to the other and, moreover, themselves have the cross section of an abutted square, ie a square with rounded edges. The proboscis taper off at the free end with a slightly curved tip and each has a diagonal on the square cross on the side facing away from the other proboscis section (see Fig. 5) formed outlet or spray opening 9, which is located in the edge 10, which is the closest to the scalp when using the scalp applicator or scalp humidifier. Due to the rounding of the edges, the opening 9 can lie in the rounding of the edges, so that the opening cannot come into contact with the scalp. The outlet or spray openings are subsequently shot in and are advantageously inclined slightly forward, as indicated in FIG. 6 by the two short arrows assigned to each trunk, which symbolize the direction of the liquid outlet. The selected inclination of the proboscis relative to the longitudinal axis of the bottle allows easy use on any head area, whereby the thickened foot forms a handy counter-holder in the hand, from which the neck can be gripped and squeezed between the thumb and forefinger. The scalp applicator or scalp humidifier is then pushed over the scalp in the manner indicated by arrow 19 in FIG. 6, the proboscis having main contact and spreading the hair apart when pushed forward.

Fig. 1 zeigt gestrichelt bei 12 eine geeignete Lage. The bottle is made of flexible plastic, conveniently by blow molding. Bottle 1 and closure 2 are produced as independent blow molded parts, in the case of closure 2 the parting plane of the molding tools is expediently placed such that it lies outside the area that comes into contact with the scalp. 1 shows a suitable position at dashed lines at 12.

The cap 7 serves to continue the bottle neck contour for closure and facilitates the alignment of the trunk to the bottle neck in a manner intended for handling.

To close the outlet or spray openings 9, a V-shaped hose 13 can be used on the trunk ends, which is welded at the kink and its ends are pushed on according to FIG. 3. Considering its circular cross-section deviating from the square cross-section of the proboscis ends, this hose lies under tension, in particular at the edge areas, and in this way ensures a clean closure of the outlet openings, with the welding following the kink of the hose also providing a certain spreading force for plugging on is to be applied, ie in response a pressure force is exerted on the area of the outlet openings. Finally, the kinking and welding results in a reduction in cross-section, so that a wedge or clamping effect is established, which secures the seat. Instead of a hose, a suitable V-shaped spray body can also be used.

Instead of a screw cap for the bottle 1, a snap closure can also be provided, wherein the bottle does not necessarily have to be designed as a standing bottle and can also have a cross-section that is rectangular.
