Description

The invention relates to a carrying device for at least four containers arranged in two rows with projecting edges on their outer sides, the carrying device made of flexible material, such as, for. B. cardboard, contains two top surfaces that rest on the container tops, the top surfaces are connected by a foldable part between the rows of containers, and in this part and in a on the opposite side of the container adjoining the top surface and folded down side part Openings are provided which serve to receive a part of the container edges, and at least the side parts contain gussets formed by incisions which support the container edges.

From DE-OS 2100185 a carrying device for two rows of containers is known, which contains a cover surface made of cardboard, which rests on the container tops. This top surface is divided into different widths of cardboard by scoring lines; the middle section arranged between the cardboard surface resting on the upper container parts is folded in a V-shape between the two rows of containers. In this known carrying device, openings are punched out both in the middle part and in the downwardly folded side parts, which connect to the cover surface on the side opposite the middle section, which serve to partially accommodate the container edges. Furthermore, other cardboard surfaces, which adjoin these side parts, are folded over the upper container parts and glued together, so that a double cardboard layer is formed on the upper container parts.

The object of the present invention is to provide a carrying device which gives the containers held therein a particularly good hold, is sufficiently rigid and prevents accidental loosening of the containers when being carried, and in the production thereof either achieves substantial material savings and thus greater economic efficiency can be, or in addition to the advertising space on the top surface, other advertising spaces can be made available on the sides of the packaging.

Die bei der Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Tragepackung erzielte Materialeinsparung beträgt gegenüber der aus der DE-A-2 100 185 bekannten Packung etwa 50%.This object is achieved in that tabs are articulated to at least one top surface of the carrying device, which at least partially overlap and are connected to the second top surface, the tabs being cut out of the folded-in middle part. The connection of the two cover surfaces with the aid of the rags fixes the part folded in between the rows of containers in position and stabilizes the entire carrying pack. As a result, it is not necessary to fold yet another cardboard part, for example, over the top surfaces which rest on the upper container parts. The containers are held in the carrying device, the finished package has good rigidity and stackability. The material saving achieved in the production of the carrying pack according to the invention is approximately 50% compared to the pack known from DE-A-2 100 185.

An advantageous embodiment of the invention can consist in that the tabs are connected to the second cover surface by gluing or sealing. According to the invention, the tabs can also be connected to the second cover surface by locking.

According to the invention, it can also be provided that flaps are articulated on both cover surfaces of the carrying device, which are connected to one another and optionally to the opposite cover surface. With this variant of the packaging, one or both flaps can be made shorter than when flaps are present on only one top surface.

If, according to a further embodiment of the carrying packaging according to the invention, a base surface is partially formed on the base of the central part and punched out from the side surfaces of the central part, to which the side parts of the packaging are connected via edge sections, additional advertising areas are obtained on the carrying device. In this case, it is also possible to manufacture the carrier packaging from thinner cardboard or from less rigid material and thus more cheaply, since its stability is guaranteed by the special construction.

10 verlaufende Rillinie 17 bzw. 18 in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt. Zwischen je zwei aufeinanderfolgenden, T-förmigen Lappen 23 befinden sich Grifföffnungen 31,31'.The carrying device for two rows of containers (not shown) shown in FIG. 1 consists of two top surfaces 1, 2 and a middle part 3 folded between the two top surfaces, which is articulated to the top surfaces via bending lines 4, 5. The middle part 3 has two side surfaces 6, 7 and one over fold lines 25, 26 associated base area 8. At the two ends of the cover surfaces 1, 2 facing away from the middle part 3, side parts 11 and 12 are folded down over fold lines 9, 10. When the carrier is attached to the containers, opposite edge portions of the containers engage and are held in openings. The openings are created by incisions 27, 28, 29, 30 (FIG. 2) which interrupt both the fold lines 9, 10 and the bending lines 4, 5. The incisions are e.g. T. C-shaped and the lugs 13, 14, 15, 16 enclosed by them are directed outwards from the folding or bending lines with respect to the cover surfaces 1, 2. When the middle part 3 and the side parts 11, 12 are folded downwards, these projections protrude from the cover surfaces. The side parts are each divided into two sections by a crease line 17 or 18 running parallel to the fold line 9 or 10. Starting from these creasing lines and at right angles thereto, cutting lines 19, 20 extending up to these incisions are made in the direction of the incisions 27, 30 (FIG. 2), which interrupt the folding lines 9, 10. The triangular surface sections 21, 22 lying between a cutting line 19, 20 and the C-shaped incisions 27, 30 (FIG. 2) support the edges of the containers in the finished carrying package and thereby additionally fix them. A T-shaped tab 23 is formed on the cover surface 1, which engages in a likewise T-shaped opening 24 and holds the two cover surfaces together. Handle openings 31, 31 'are located between two successive, T-shaped tabs 23.

An zwei, vom Mittelteil 103 abgekehrten Enden der Deckflächen 101, 102 schließen nach unten umgefaltete Seitenteile 111, 112 an.A cover can also be connected to two cover surfaces 101, 102, as shown in FIG. 3, in such a way that a tab 123 formed on one cover surface 101 is glued to the second cover surface 102. A middle part 103, consisting of two side surfaces 106, 107 and a base surface 108, is folded between two containers 32. At two ends of the cover surfaces 101, 102 facing away from the central part 103, side parts 111, 112 folded over downward adjoin.

Fig. 4 shows a flat blank, which is suitable for producing a further carrying device. The blank consists of two cover surfaces 201, 202 and a middle part 203 which can be folded in between the two cover surfaces and which is articulated to the cover surfaces via bending lines 204, 205. The middle part consists of two side surfaces 206, 207 and a base surface 208. This is articulated on the two side surfaces 206, 207 of the middle part 203 via two fold lines 225, 226. In the course of the two folding lines 225, 226 there are incisions 233, 234, which facilitate the folding in of the middle part 203 in the case of stiff cardboard. The bending lines 204, 205 are interrupted by two angular incisions 228 and C-shaped incisions 229, which extend into the side surfaces 206, 207 and include projections 214, 215 which, when the middle part 203 is folded downward, around the bending lines 204, 205 protrude beyond this from the top surfaces 201, 202. Starting from the incisions 228 in the bending line 204 and at right angles thereto, incisions 235, 236 extending as far as the fold line 225, which enclose a flap 223 between them, which in the erected state of the carrying pack serves to connect the two cover surfaces 201 and 202 . In addition, handle openings 231 are provided in the area of the side surfaces 206, 207 of the central part 203 and extend into the top surfaces 201, 202. On the two sides of the cover surfaces 201, 202 opposite the middle part 203, side parts 211, 212 adjoin via fold lines 209, 210. These side parts are each divided into inner and outer sections by a crease line 217, 218. The respective inner section of the side parts 211, 212 contains openings which are formed by incisions 227, 230 and punched-out areas 237, 238 and serve to receive the edge sections of containers. Triangular surface sections 221, 222 are divided by oblique incisions 239, 240, which support the edges of the containers in the finished carrying pack and thus hold them in place.

The carrying device shown in FIG. 5 for two rows of containers (not shown) consists of two top surfaces 301, 302 and a middle part 303 folded in a V-shape between the two top surfaces, which is articulated to the top surfaces via bending lines 304, 305. The middle part has two side surfaces 306, 307, which are connected to one another via a fold line 325 and are each divided into an upper and a lower section by embossing lines 326, 327.

310 verlaufende Rillinie 317 bzw. 318 in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt. At the two ends of the cover surfaces 301, 302 facing away from the middle part 303, side parts 311, 312 folded downward via fold lines 309, 310 are connected. When the carrier is attached to the containers, edge portions of the containers engage and are held in openings. These openings are formed by incisions 227 and 230 and by punchings 237, 238, as are shown in more detail in FIG. 4. Lugs 313, 316 are formed on the top surfaces 301, 302 and protrude into the openings when the blank is cut flat. When the side parts 311, 312 are folded downwards, the lugs 313, 316 remain in the plane of the top surfaces. The side parts 311, 312 are each divided into two sections by a crease line 317 and 318 running parallel to the fold line 309 and 310, respectively. In the respective upper section, triangular surface sections 321, 322 are formed by incisions 339, 340, these support the edges of the containers in the finished carrying pack. Over the bending lines 304, 305, which connect the middle part 303 to the top surfaces 301, 302, projections 314 and 315 protrude from the top surface 301 and 302 towards the middle part 303. Furthermore, a tab 323 is formed on the top surface 302 on the extension 315, which engages over the middle part 303 and is sealed to the top surface 301.

The flat blank shown in FIG. 6 consists of two cover surfaces 401 and 402 and a middle part 403 which can be folded in between the two cover surfaces and which is articulated to the cover surfaces via bending lines 404, 405. The middle part 403 consists of two side surfaces 406 and 407 and a base surface 408 on which a base surface 441 is formed. The base surface is connected to the side surfaces 406 and 407 of the central part via two fold lines 425 and 426, the base surface 441 is punched out of the side surfaces 406 and 407 and delimited by stamping lines 442, 442 '.

The bending lines 404 and 405 are each interrupted by two angular incisions 428 and C-shaped incisions 429 which extend into the side surfaces 406, 407 and include projections 414 and 415 which, when the middle part 403 is folded downward around the bending lines 404, 405 protrude beyond the top surfaces 401 and 402.

Starting from the incisions 428 and at right angles thereto, a U-shaped incision 435 extends, which includes a tab 423, which in the erected state of the carrying pack serves to glue the two cover surfaces 401 and 402. It is of course also possible to arrange such tabs on both cover surfaces 401, 402, which are then expediently glued or sealed together. Furthermore, handle openings 431 are provided in the region of the side surfaces 406 and 407 of the middle part 403, which extend into the two cover surfaces 401 and 402. On the two sides of the top surfaces 401 and 402 opposite the middle part 403, side parts 411, 412 adjoin via fold lines 409, 410, of which edge sections 445 and 446 are divided by embossing lines 443, 444. These edge sections are glued to the bottom surface 441 of the middle part 403 when the packaging is erected. The folding lines 409 and 410 - like the bending lines 404 and 405 - are interrupted by C-shaped incisions 427, which serve to receive container edge sections. In the middle of the C-shaped notches 427 and 429 there are short notches 447 running perpendicular to them, which enable the regions of the side surfaces 407 or the side parts 411, 412 adjacent to these to clamp under the corresponding container edge section.

It is also possible to arrange opposite flaps on both cover surfaces, which are glued or sealed to one another and possibly to the opposite cover surface when the carrying device is erected.
