Claims (17)

1. A window winder device particularly for motor vehicle doors, of the kind comprising an actuating pinion (6) driven by a geared motor (7) and meshing with a rack attached to at least one of the extremities of two operating arms (3 and 4) varying in their angular setting as a function of the position of the window which is provided in its lower portion with a slideway wherein slide bearing elements (8) situated at one of the extremities (3 and 4) of the arms which drive said window, characterised in that the two operating arms (3 and 4) are radially disposed with respect to the centre of a cylindrical actuating casing (1) acting as a plate, on whose periphery are guided, via a slider (2), the two radial arms (3 and 4) entrained in an angular trajectory around the case (1) by at least one perforated flexible rack (5) exerting a push or a pull on the said arms (3 and 4) depending on the required direction of rotation of the actuating pinion (6) with which it meshes in order to be entrained.
2. A window winder device according to claim 1, characterised in that the free extremities (5a and 5b) of the flexible rack (5) are formed by two S-shaped loops guided within peripheral passage sections (10) of the casing (1) and simultaneously entraining, in a convergent or divergent displacement, the radial arms (3 and 4) attached to the extremities of the said flexible rack (5).

A window winder device according to claim 1, characterised in that the actuating pinion (6) entrains two flexible racks (11 and 12), directly in the case of the one and via a counter pinion (13) in the case of the other, one of the free extremities (11 a and 12a) of each rack (11 and 12) being formed by a loop, guided in peripheral passage sections (10) of the casing (1) and simultaneously entraining, in a convergent or divergent displacement, the two radial arms (3 and 4) attached to the extremities of the said flexible racks (11 and 12).

A window winder device according to claim 1, characterised in that a double actuating pinion (14) passing though the casing (1) simultaneously and respectively entrains two flexible racks (15 and 16) situated at either side of the casing (1) and of which one of the free extremities (15a and 16a) forms a loop guided within the peripheral passage sections (10) of the casing (1) and consequently entrains the radial arms (3 and 4) in a convergent or divergent displacement.
5. A window winder device according to claim 1, characterised in that the geared motor (7) is enclosed in a housing (9) corresponding to its outer shape and produced during the same moulding operation with the actuating casing (1).
6. A window winder device according to claim 1, characterised in that the elements of the geared motor (7) are situated in the same housing (9) produced during the same moulding operation with the actuating casing (1), thus advantageously acting as a gear casing.

A window winder device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the radial arms (3 and 4) are formed in the manner of a hair pin of which the keyhole-shaped head (23) is able to receive the bearing element (8) by resilient engagement and of which the symmetrical branches (3b and 3c) are bent over at their free extremities along the same plane in such a manner as to form a hinge pin XX' able to be inserted by resilient gripping action into two corresponding bearings (24 and 25) provided at either side of the slider (2) guiding the radial arms (3 and 4) on the periphery of the casing (1).

A window winder device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the radial arms (3 and 4) are poduced by moulding a plastics material during the same operation as the slider (2) and comprise at their free extremity (3a) the bearing element (8) produced integrally with the arms.

A window winder device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the radial arms (3 and 4) are produced by cutting from a blank of thingauge sheet metal wherein the slider is formed by bending and of which the free extremity (3a) has an opening in the form of a keyhole (17) produced by excision and able to receive the bearing element (8) by resilient engagement.
10. A window winder device according to any one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that the radial arms (3 and 4) are extended towards the centre of the casing (1) for pivotal displacement around one and the same spindle (26) situated at the said centre.

A window winder device according to any one of claims 7 and 8, characterised in that the slider (2) obtained by moulding plastics material is formed by a U-shaped element of which the parallel branches (2a and 2c) enflank the outer flange of the actuating casing (1), one of these (2c) being folded against a lower rim (2d) able to slide in the peripheral passage (10) thus acting as a rail.

A window winder device according to claim 9, characterised in that the slider is produced by bending to form a U of which the parallel branches (2a and 2c) enflank the outer rim (1 a) of the actuating casing (1), one of these (2c) being folded down against a lower rim (1b) of the casing (1) and the other (2a) equally being folded down to form a guide (2d) able to slide in the peripheral passage (10) thus acting as a rail.
13. A window winder device according to claim 11, characterised in that the guide (2d) is produced by moulding during the same operation with the slider (2).
14. A window winder device according to claim 12, characterised in that the guide (2d) is produced by bending during the forming of the sheet metal slider (2).
15. A window winder device according to claim 11, characterised in that the guide (2d) is an inset element in the form of a tenon (21) engaging in a mortice (22) formed by an opening provided in one of the branches (2a) of the slider (2).

A window winder device according to any of claims 13 to 15, characterised in that the free part of the guide (2d) directed towards the bottom (10a) of the peripheral passage (10) or rail is formed by a comb (2e) of which the teeth correspond to and engage in those (18) resulting from the axial and longitudinal excision of the extremity of the flexible rack in such a manner as to couple this latter to the arm for the purpose of its entrainment.
17. A window winder device according to either of claims 7 or 9, characterised in that the bearing elements (8) sliding in the lower part of the slideway are situated at the extremities of the arms (3 and 4) via a base (8a) integrally formed with the bearing element (8), the said base (8a) being provided with a groove (8b) which snaps resiliently into the keyhole-like apertures formed at the extremities of the said arms (3 and 4).
