Abstract

The invention relates to a node connection for trusses or space trusses made of wooden bars (13) and spherical metal node pieces (10), in which threaded holes (11) are worked out, the axes of which intersect at each node piece center. At the ends of the wooden rods (13) threaded bolts (12) are rotatably mounted in holding members (14), which are screwed into the threaded bores (11) of the node pieces (10). The holding links for the threaded bolts were previously made in several parts and were laboriously attached to the wooden bars by means of screws or nails. In order to simplify the fastening of the holding members (14) to the wooden bars (13), the invention proposes to design the holding members (14) at least on their fastening section as one-piece profile parts and in their profile (15) correspondingly adapted axial recesses (16) in the front ends of the wooden sticks (13). In order to achieve a large adhesive surface, the profile (15) of the holding members (14) is often branched. The invention is mainly used to create inexpensive space frameworks, to which no particularly high static requirements are imposed.

Description

The invention relates to a junction connection for wooden bars of trusses, in particular space trusses, with holding members for threaded bolts fastened to the ends of the wooden bars, which are screwed into threaded holes in node pieces.

Such a junction connection has become known, for example, from DE-PS 896 712 and DE-AS 2 020 242. In both known constructions, the knot pieces are made of steel or light metal, while the rods are made of round or square timbers, which means that relatively inexpensive space frames can be created, which in many cases easily meet the structural requirements. Each of these versions uses several U-shaped brackets to hold the threaded bolts, which in one case are fastened to the outside of a wooden stick by means of claw-shaped ends and screws, and in the other case are inserted into axial slots in the front ends of the wooden rods and by transverse pins or screws in held in this position. However, these types of attachment are expensive and also require a relatively large amount of work, since numerous nails or screws have to be driven into the wood in order to attach the retaining bracket. If, in the one case mentioned, the holding brackets consist of thicker sheets, these must even be pre-fitted to accommodate the nails or screws be drilled. This makes the fastening work even more cumbersome.

The invention has for its object to further simplify such node connections so that they can be produced in a time-saving manner. Finally, the connection length between the rod ends and the node pieces should also be reduced further.

According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the holding members are formed at least on their fastening portion as one-piece profile parts and are glued in their profile adapted axial recesses in the ends of the wooden rods. This considerably simplifies the fastening of a holding member at the end of a wooden stick, since the holding member only needs to be pressed into the corresponding recesses after the adhesive has been introduced, with the holding member being securely anchored to the end of the wooden stick after the adhesive has hardened after the adhesive has hardened. The profile of the holding members is expediently designed in many branches to enlarge the adhesive surface. The recesses in the front ends of the wooden rods can be relatively simple e.g. be produced in the copy milling process. Very short connection lengths can also be achieved by means of the holding members according to the invention.

The economy is further increased if, according to a further embodiment of the invention, the holding members consist of extruded profile parts. This has the very special advantage that the adhesive surface can be made particularly large in the simplest way and that a very large interface between the wood and the connecting part can be used for power transmission by means of the adhesive.

If, according to yet another embodiment of the invention, each holding member consists of an extruded part with a sawtooth-shaped or the like profile or contains one, the elaboration of the corresponding wedge-shaped recesses in the ends of the wooden bars is simplified. In this case, it is sufficient to use a corresponding profile cutter, which is run across the ends of the wooden bars.

If, according to yet another embodiment of the invention, the holding member has on its section facing away from the sawtooth profile an axial groove with a T-shaped clear cross section for receiving one or more threaded bolts which are laterally separated by e.g. Pins are locked, a one-piece holding member for the threaded bolt or bolts is advantageously achieved, which allows very short connection lengths. In addition, such a holding member can optionally receive one or more threaded bolts for the execution of corresponding multiple connections.

According to yet another variant of the invention, the sawtooth profile can be formed on a plate resting on the end face of the wooden rod, on the outside of which one or more hollow cone pieces or the like can be fastened for holding the threaded bolt or bolts.

Yet another embodiment of the invention is characterized in that each holding member consists of an extruded part with a star-shaped or spoke wheel-shaped cross-sectional profile. The threaded bolt is advantageously held in the central part of the holding member with the star-shaped or spoke wheel-shaped cross-sectional profile, and the outer end face of this central part expediently forms the bearing surface for a drive sleeve which is connected to the threaded bolt in a rotationally fixed but axially displaceable manner. This version of the invention enables an extremely short connection length, which practically only corresponds to the length of a drive sleeve.

A simplified version of the invention intended for relatively low loads consists in that the holding members for the threaded bolts consist of sleeves with a corresponding threaded bore. In this case too, extremely short connection lengths can be achieved. The diameter of these sleeves is appropriately large to create sufficient adhesive surfaces.

In Fig. 1, 10 denotes a node of a node connection in a space framework in which wooden rods 13 are used. The metal, e.g. Steel-made node piece 10 has a plurality of threaded bores 11 intersecting at its center, which are intended for receiving threaded bolts 12. Two square wooden rods 13 are connected to the node piece 10 merely by way of example, and have holding members 14 for a threaded bolt 12 at each end.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1-3, the holding members 14 consist of parts separated from an extruded profile made of, for example, aluminum, the length of which is dimensioned as a function of the edge length of the wooden rods 13. The holding members 14 have on their section serving for fastening a sawtooth-shaped profile 15 which is glued into this profile adapted axial wedge-shaped recesses 16 in the front end of the wooden rods 13. A commercially available special adhesive for wood and metal can be used as an adhesive for this. The recesses 16 are preferably formed continuously from one side to the opposite side, for example using a corresponding form cutter. As a result, they are open on the side, which has the advantage that excess adhesive can escape there.

The holding members 14 also have a T-shaped longitudinal groove 17 on their section protruding from the front end of each wooden rod 13, into which the threaded bolt 12 is inserted with its head 18 and secured by two transversely arranged pins 19 in the central position shown in FIG. 2 is.

A driving sleeve 20 is used to screw the threaded bolts 12 into the threaded bores 11 of the node piece 10. Each driving sleeve 20 is rotatably connected to its threaded bolt 12 by a pin 21, which is firmly anchored in the threaded bolt 12 and is inserted into an elongated hole 22 of the driving sleeve (key sleeve ) extends. This driving sleeve arrangement is known and therefore requires no further explanation. When the connection is completed, the driving sleeve 20 rests with an end face on a flattened part of the node piece 10 and with its opposite end face on the surfaces 23 on both sides of the groove 17 with a T-shaped clear cross section.

In Fig. 3 it is indicated that the holding member 14 can also receive two threaded bolts 12 '(in the case of greater lengths also more than two threaded bolts). In this case too, the threaded bolts 12 'are secured against lateral emergence from the groove 17 by transverse pins 19. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, only a square wooden rod 13 is connected to the node piece 10 as an example. In this embodiment, the holding member 14a for the threaded bolt 12 consists of an aluminum extrusion 24, which on the underside, like the embodiment according to FIGS. 1-3, has a sawtooth-shaped profile 15 which fits into corresponding axial wedges shaped recesses 16 is glued. On the outer side of the part 24, a hollow cone piece 25 made of aluminum is welded, in which the threaded bolt 12 is held with its head 18.

The embodiment according to FIGS. 6-9 contains a holding member 14b for a threaded bolt 26 with a spoke wheel-shaped cross section, a threaded bore 28 for the threaded bolt 26 being provided in the central or hub-shaped part 27. The holding member 14b is also preferably produced as an extruded part made of aluminum, and the individual holding members are separated from the extruded profile with a length such that a sufficiently large adhesive surface is achieved.

In this exemplary embodiment, the threaded bolt 26 is designed as a differential threaded bolt, which is known in the case of junction connections of space frameworks and therefore does not require any further explanation. The connection between the threaded bolt 26 and the drive sleeve 20, which is non-rotatable but permits an axial relative movement, corresponds to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 4.

Fig. 6). The fastening of the holding member 14b in the ends of the square wooden rod 13 is carried out by gluing into corresponding recesses. For this purpose, a central axial bore 29 is provided in each end of the square wooden rod 13, from which slots 30 extend radially outward. An annular recess 31 is provided coaxially with the bore 29. The bore 29, slots 30 and the recess 31 are all worked out to a depth which corresponds approximately to the length of the holding member 14b (see FIG. 6). On the other hand, the diameter of the bore 29 and the width of the slots 30 and the annular recess 31 are dimensioned such that lateral spaces are present when the holding member 14b is inserted (Fig. 7) remain, which are used to hold adhesives. The central or hub-shaped part 27 of the holding member 14b is received by the bore 29, while the spokes 32 sit in the slots 30. The rim-shaped outer circumferential section 33 of the holding member 14b is accommodated in the annular recess 31. FIG. 7 shows that the gaps remaining between the inserted holding member 14b and the bore 29, the slots 30 and the annular recess 31 by a filler adhesive 34 or special Glue 35 are filled. These adhesives are commercially available. Since the slots 30 are laterally open to the outside, excess adhesive can advantageously be forced to the side when the holding member 14b is installed.

Füllklebers 34 vorhanden, wie Fig. 10 zeigt.FIGS. 10 and 11 show a holding member 14c with a star-shaped cross section for the threaded bolt 26. In detail, this holding member has a central part 36 with a threaded bore 37 for receiving the threaded bolt 26. Uniform webs 38 extend radially outward from the central part 36. The holding member 14c likewise preferably consists of an aluminum extrusion which is separated from an extrusion profile in predetermined lengths. This holding member is glued in a manner similar to the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 6-9 in an axial bore 29 in the front ends of the square wooden rod 13, from which slots 30 run radially outwards. The central part 36 of the holding member 14c is again received by the axial bore 29, while the webs 38 are seated in the slots 30. As in the previous exemplary embodiment, there is sufficient space between the holding member 14c and the bore 29 or the slots 30 for receiving a suitable special adhesive 35 or filler adhesive 34, as shown in FIG. 10.

In the embodiment according to Figures 12 and 13, the holding member 14d for the threaded bolt 26 consists of a simple sleeve made of e.g. Aluminum with a corresponding threaded bore 39. The diameter of this sleeve is smaller than that of the central bore 29 in the front ends of the square wooden rod 13 in order to obtain sufficient space for the special adhesive 35 when the holding member 14d is glued in. Furthermore, the diameter of the holding member 14d is selected so that a sufficiently large adhesive surface is available.
