Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a loudspeaker housing with an upper and a lower side with two side walls and with a rear wall and a baffle, wherein grooves are provided around the baffle for receiving at least one housing cover.
The front of loudspeaker housings is often provided with one or more grilles that are connected to the housing by means of Velcro strips or snap fasteners. If you remove the grille, you can see the fasteners, which is not particularly advantageous.
However, a cover for a loudspeaker combination is known which is inserted with its edges into a groove in the loudspeaker housing (DE-AS 21 40 960). For this, however, a groove must first be milled into the loudspeaker housing, which also has a very rough structure in the case of chipboard housings.
Another known front cover for the baffle of a loudspeaker housing has the same disadvantage, which is detachably glued and / or clamped to the loudspeaker housing (DE-AS 25 47 648). The circumferential groove, which is provided around the baffle in the loudspeaker housing, must also be milled into the housing, which results in an unclean structure of the groove in a wooden housing.
A loudspeaker housing for one or more loudspeakers is also known, the baffle of which is designed as a plastic molded body with a peripheral edge strip for fastening a housing cover (DE-AS 27 38 526). The peripheral edge strip is clean here, but its production is relatively complex and expensive.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a loudspeaker housing with a circumferential, decorative-looking groove which can be produced in a simple manner.
This object is achieved in accordance with the features of

Außerdem ist eine Schallwand 7 zu sehen, welche Lautsprecher 8, 9 trägt.2 shows the same loudspeaker housing 1 again, but with the
The profile is shown in more detail in the plan view in FIG. 3a. It consists of a narrow
Die äußere Leiste 13 umschließt die Nut 12.In Fig. 3b the back of the
A section through the
The
The
This box jacket consists of top and bottom as well as two side walls; it therefore covers the entire loudspeaker housing with the exception of the rear wall and the baffle.
First of all, a
If the loudspeaker housing is not provided with a plastic coating, but instead is equipped with a wood veneer, then miter cutting is also carried out. The points opposite the recesses 32-36 are provided with adhesive strips that hold the chipboard parts together. It can then be cut down to the adhesive strips.
The box jacket is then connected to the baffle and the rear wall of the housing. Of course, it is also possible to make the connection to the baffle and the rear wall at the same time when the box casing is folded.
The fact that the profile placed on the front edge of the speaker box is applied before folding the box jacket and mitred together with the jacket blank, the loudspeaker housing according to the invention can be manufactured to fit precisely and inexpensively. On the one hand, the profile covers the raw chipboard edges and, on the other hand, serves to hold the speaker grille. This eliminates the usual fasteners such. B. snap fasteners and Velcro strips, and the box has a decorative appearance even when the grille is removed.
