Description

  • L'invention a pour objet un dispositif en forme de pince munie d'une garniture absorbante, plus particulièrement destinée au séchage des manches de raquettes, ou autres objets de forme prismatique.
  • Le cuir ou autre élément de protection du manche d'une raquette de tennis s'humidifie par sudation des mains.
  • Le brevet belge 394487 déposé le 20 Février 1953 prévoit de faire comporter à une raquette de tennis un manchon à la fois élastique et absorbant, formé par un tissu fait en partie de caoutchouc et en partie d'un textile quelconque. Le pouvoir absorbant d'un tel revêtement est très limité.
  • Le brevet US 3 645 008, déposé le 16 Octobre 1970, prévoit de disposer dans une cavité ménagée à l'intérieur du manche d'une raquette de tennis, une cartouche absorbante contenant une matière déshydratante. La réalisation d'un tel manche est compliquée.
  • L'invention prévoit d'utiliser un dispositif de séchage distinct du manche.
  • Suivant l'invention, ce dispositif comprend deux mâchoires articulées autour d'un axe ccmmun et prolongées chacune par une poignée formant levier, chacune de ces mâchoires ménageant une cavité destinée à loger une garniture absorbante, les cavités ménagées dans les mâchoires ayant une forme complémentaire de cella de l'objet à sécher pour épouser la surface de celvi-ci quand la pince ainsi constituée est fermée.
  • Les diverses particularités, ainsi que les avantages de l'invention, apparaîtront clairement à la lumière de la description ci-après.
  • Au dessin annexé:
    • La figure 1 est une vue en perspective d'une pince conforme au mode d'exécution préféré de l'invention, fermée sur le manche d'une raquette et,
    • La figure 2 est une vue en coupe de cette pince, représentée en position ouverte.
  • Les deux mâchoires 1 et 2, en alliage d'aluminium ou autre matière sont munies d'une charnière pour s'articuler autour d'un axe 3 et forment chacune une cavité en forme de gouttière allongée, 4 et 5 respectivement. Ces deux cavités, sont conformées pour venir, lorsque la pince est fermée, épouser la zone de prise de la surface du manche de la raquette.
  • Il suffit alors d'introduire un mouchoir de papier, ou autre garniture absorbante, entre chaque cavité et le manche, pour assurer un séchage rapide et efficace, la pression relativement forte exercée par la pince favorisant l'absorption du liquide exsudé sur le manche.
  • Dans le mode d'exécution décrit, chaque cavité est garnie d'une pièce en matière élastique 41 -51 fixée par collage et qui facilite le contact de la garniture absorbante avec le manche.
  • Il va de soi que la garniture absorbante peut facilement être remplacée lorsqu'elle est imbibée de liquide.
  • Les mâchoires 1-2 sont prolongées par des poignées respectives 6-7 formant leviers. Le levier inférieur 7 est avantageusement muni d'un verrou 8 mobile en rotation autour d'un axe 9 et muni de crans 10. Un ressort 11 fixé à une extrémité au levier 7 et accroché à l'autre extrémité au verrou 8 est agencé de manière à pousser le verrou 8, dans le sens de la flèche, figure 2, vers la position armée où l'un des crans 10 coopère avec une lame élastique 12 vissée au fond de l'évidement 60 que comporte le levier 6. Dans cette position, on voit (figure 1) que le verrou 9 fait saillie à travers un orifice 61 managé dans le levier 6. Un serrage continu pendant la durée souhaitée est ainsi assuré. En excerçant une pression manuelle sur la partie supérieure accessible du verrou 8, on libère celui-ci et il vient s'escamoter, sous l'action du ressort 11. dans l'évidement 70 que comporte le levier 7.
  • La pression est réglable par choix de l'un des crans 10.

Claims (5)

1. Dispositif de séchage d'un objet prismatique, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend deux mâchoires (1 -2) articulées autour d'un axe commun (3) et prolongées chacune par une poignée formant levier (6 -7), chacune de ces mâchoires ménageant une cavité (4-5) destinée à loger une garniture absorbante, les cavités ménagées dans les mâchoires ayant une forme complémentaire de celle de l'objet à sécher, de manière à épouser la surface de celui-ci quand la pince ainsi constituée est fermée.
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que ladite garniture absorbante est constituée par un mouchoir en papier posé à l'intérieur de la cavité.
3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que chaque cavité est garnie d'une matière élastique (41 -51) sur laquelle on applique la garniture absorbante.
4. Dispositif selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé par un organe de verrouillage (8-12) permettant un serrage continu pendant la durée souhaitée.
5. Dispositif selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ledit organe de verrouillage comporte un verrou oscillant (8) muni de plusieurs crans (10) qui permettent un réglage de la pression.
