[Class 131] [Also in Groups XIII and XVII] A device for drying a safety razor comprises an airtight box housing the assembled razor and containing a desiccating agent. As shown, the wet razor is clamped between bags 22, 23, containing silica gel, secured to the hinged lid 15 and to the base 14 of the box. The cutting edges of the razor rest on hygroscopic pads 24. 25 of lint and the silica gel in the pad 22 contains an indicator such as cobalt chloride by which the need for renewal of the desiccant can be discovered by viewing through an aperture covered by a mica window. The closure of the box is rendered air tight by a rubber gasket 17.
