Farbmesser mit diesen Merkmalen sind aus der DE-A-25 45 737 und der US-A-2 283 830 bekannt. In beiden Fällen ist beiderseits eines Teilbereiches des Farbmessers jeweils nur eine nutartige Aussparung angeordnet, welche Aussparungen zudem in ihrer Erstreckungsrichtung parallel zueinander verlaufen. Im Falle der DE-A besitzen die nutartigen Aussparungen einen halbkreisförmigen Querschnitt, im Falle der US-A einen rechteckigen oder alternativ hierzu einen dreieckigen Querschnitt, wobei die letztere Ausführung gemäß der US-A sich von der Vorderkante des Farbmessers ausgehend keilförmig verengt. Bei keiner dieser bekannten Lösungen ist jedoch gewährleistet, daß bei Anstellung eines Farbmesserteilbereiches an die Farbkastenwalze die benachbarten Teilbereiche und deren Funktion unbeeinflußt bleiben. Letzteres hat zur Folge, daß auch keine Farbzonen mi: definierter Breite ohne Überzeichnung des Randbereiches benachbarter Farbzonen erzielbar sind.Color meters with these features are known from DE-A-25 45 737 and US-A-2 283 830. Die Erfindung ist im Zusammenhang mit einem in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel näher erläutert. In der Zeichnung zeigen :

  • Figur 4 den gleichen Farbmesserausschnitt wie nach Fig. 3, jedoch hier mit einem an die Farbkastenwalze angestellten Teilabschnitt.

Bei der schematischen Darstellung nach Fig. 1 ist mit 1 ein Farbkasten, mit 2 eine Farbkastenwalze und mit 3 ein Farbmesser bezeichnet. Letzteres besitzt einen Klemmbereich 4, mit dem es in einer am Farbkasten 1 befestigten, mehrteiligen Halterung 5 eingespannt ist, und einen frei auskragenden Arbeitsbereich 6. Der Arbeitsbereich ist durch nutartige, am Rücken 7 des Farbmessers 3 und von dessen Vorderkante 8 ausgehend angeordnete Aussparungen 9 in einzeln verstellbare, jedoch zusammenhängende Teilbereiche 10 untergliedert; jeder dieser Teilbereiche ist zur Einstellung einer Farbschichtdicke in einer Farbzone 11 mittels eines Stellgliedes 12 - im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel einer Stellschraube, die in der Halterung 5 drehbar gelagert ist - individuell an die Farbkastenwalze 2 anstellbar.1, 1 denotes an ink fountain, 2 denotes an ink fountain roller and 3 denotes an ink knife. Erfindungsgemäß sind zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Teilbereichen 10 des Farbmessers 3 jeweils zwei nutartige Aussparungen 9 vorgesehen, die ausgehend von der Vorderkante 8 des Farbmessers zu dessen Klemmbereich hin V-förmig aufeinander zulaufen - siehe auch Fig. 2 -. Die geradlinig oder gegebenenfalls auch bogenförmig aufeinander zulaufenden nutartigen Aussparungen besitzen einen rechteckigen Querschnitt und sind derart in das Farbmesser 3 eingeformt, daß zwischen dessen Unterseite 13 und dem Nutgrund ein Biegebereich 14 - siehe Fig. 3 und 4 - mit rechteckigem Querschnitt sowie zwischen den einander zugewandten Seitenflächen der Aussparungen 9 jeweils ein keilförmiges Messerteil 15 verbleibt. In Fig. 3 ist die betrachtete Farbzone 11/1 zwischen den Pfeilen vollständig, die links und rechts derselben angrenzende Farbzone 11/2 bzw. 11/3 dagegen nur teilweise dargestellt. Die Unterseite 13 des Farbmessers 3 ist, wie aus Fig. 3 ersichtlich, über die ganze dargestellte Breite gleich weit von der Farbkastenwalze 2 entfernt, so daß in allen drei dargestellten Farbzonen 11/1, 11/2 und 11/3 von der Farbkastenwalze 2 Farbe mit gleichbleibender Schichtdicke an eine nachfolgende Walze weitergeleitet wird. Bei der Anordnung der Teile nach Fig. 4 dagegen erfolgt ein Farbtransport im wesentlichen nur in den Farbzonen 11/2 und 11/3, da in der Farbzone 11/1 der zugeordnete Teilbereich 10/1 des Farbmessers 3 vollständig an die Farbkastenwalze 2 angestellt ist und die Farbe in diesem Bereich abgerakelt wird. Die Anstellung des Teilbereiches 10/1 an die Farbkastenwalze 2 erfolgt durch entsprechende Verstellung der Stellschraube 12, die dabei - wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt - etwa am Punkt 16, also nahe der Farbmesservorderkante 8 sowie mittig am betrachteten Teilbereich 10/1 angreift und diesen in Richtung Farbkastenwalze 2 drückt. Der besagte Teilbereich 10/1 verbiegt sich dabei wegen der Geometrie der an ihn angrenzenden Aussparungen 9/1, 9/2 und der Messerteile 15 nicht oder nur ganz unwesentlich ; letzteres deshalb, weil durch die beiden an den Teilbereich 10/1 angrenzenden Aussparungen 9/1 und 9/2 mit ihren querschnittsseitig geschwächten Biegebereichen 14 eine Scharnierwirkung gegeben ist, wobei sich - wie aus Fig. 4 ersichtlich - bei Anstellung des Teilbereiches 10/1 an die Farbkastenwalze 2 die Biegebereiche 14 gewissermaßen als Scharnierdrehpunkte verhaltend verbiegen, die Messerteile 15 jedoch weitgehend ihre gerade Form behalten und sich dabei im Bereich der Vorderkante 8 des Farbmessers 3 etwa wie zweiseitig eingespannte starre Träger verhalten.In Fig. 3, the considered color zone 11/1 between the arrows is complete, the color zone 11/2 or 11/3 adjacent to the left and right of the same, however, is only partially shown. Claims (5)

1. Ink knife (3) for an ink duct roller (2) in printing machines, having a clamping area (4) clampable in a mounting (5), and having a freely projecting working area (6), which is divided up into part areas (10), which are individually adjustable but are still connected, by groove-like recesses (9) arranged on the back (7) of the ink knife (3) and starting from its front edge (8), each of which part areas is individually adjustable on to the ink duct roller (2) by means of an adjusting member (12) for the purpose of adjusting the thickness of an ink layer in one ink zone (11), characterised in that there are provided between two respective adjacent part areas (10) two respective groove-like recesses (9), which extend towards each other in a V-shape starting from the front edge (8) of the ink knife (3) and extending in the direction of the clamping area (4) of the same.
