Diese Thermostatventile haben aber meistens eine größere Baulänge als die bisher eingesetzten Heizkörperventile. Bevor deshalb ein Thermostatventil anstelle eines vorhandenen Ventils eingesetzt werden kann, muß deswegen entweder die Anschlußleitung verkürzt werden oder der Heizkörper versetzt werden. Beides erfordert einen erheblichen Arbeits- und Zeitaufwand. Das Verkürzen der Anschlußleitungen läßt sich meist nur mit Hilfe autogener Schweißung durchführen. Zusätzlich muß das neue Ende der Anschlußleitung mit einem Gewinde versehen werden. Das sind sehr mühsame Arbeiten, die noch dadurch erschwert werden, daß Heizkörper sich in der Regel in Heizkörpernischen befinden, die schwer zugänglich sind. In einigen Fällen sind auch die freien, zur Verfügung stehenden Längen der Anschlußleitungen begrenzt. Es wird der bei der Erstausrüstung in den Heizkörper eingesetzte Heizkörperanschlußstopfen verwendet und in sein Innengewinde ein mit Außengewinde versehener Axialflansch einer zweiteiligen Stopfbuchse eingedreht. Die Stopfbuchse besteht aus zwei verhältnismäßig komplizierten Teilen, die eine aufwendige Bearbeitung erfordern. Die gesamte Vorrichtung besitzt eine verhältnismäßig große axiale Länge. Wenn man diese Vorrichtung zum Anschluß eines Thermostatventils benutzen will, welches in der Regel eine größere axiale Länge als das bisher verwendete Heizkörperventil besitzt, dann geht das nur, wenn zwischen dem Ende der Anschlußleitung einerseits und dem Ende der Stopfbuchse andererseits hinreichend Platz zur Verfügung steht. Meist ist aber im Zuge der Erstmontage der Heizungsanlage die Anschlußleitung so abgelängt, daß das seinerzeit verwendete Heizlörperventil eingesetzt werden konnte. Dann wird die Anschlußtülle in Richtung auf das neue Ventil vorgezogen, bis ihr Stützflansch gegen den zugeordneten Anschlußstutzen des neuen Ventils stößt, und wird die Überwurfmutter auf diesen Anschlußstutzen aufgedreht. Die Anschlußtülle 8 wird soweit wie möglich oder soweit wie erforderlich in dem Heizkörperanschlußstopfen 1 eingeschoben. Dann kann das Thermostatventil mit seinem zugeordneten Anschlußstutzen an dem Ende der weiterführenden Anschlußleitung montiert werden. Danach wird die Anschlußtülle 8 so weit aus dem Heizkörperanschlußstopfen 1 herausgezogen, bis ihr Stützflansch 13 am zugeordneten Anschlußstutzen des neuen Thermostatventils anliegt. A device for connection of a radiator valve, in particular a thermostatic valve, to a radiator with a connecting socket (8) which has a supporting flange (13) with union nut (15) for connection to a connecting piece of a radiator valve within the range of one end and a radiator connecting stud (1) with a radial flange (3) to be inserted into the threaded hole of the radiator within the range of the other end, the radial flange (3) being provided with a sealing surface and the radiator connecting stud (1) being arranged sealed as well as rotatably and longitudinally displaceable on the connecting socket (8) and the radial flange being also provided with a section which is suitable for tool grip, characterized in that the connecting plug (1) has at its internal circumferential surface a circumferential groove (6) for receiving a gasket (7) sealing with the connecting socket (8), and that the profile for tool grip is formed by the external circumference of the radial flange (3) and extending over its entire width and up to its sealing surface.
2. A device according to claim 1, characterized in that the gasket (7) is formed by an 0-ring seal.
3. A device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the connecting socket (8) is guarded against slipping from the readiator connecting plug (1).
4. A device according to claim 3, characterized by a locking pin (11) which is kept in radially arranged bore holes (9, 10).
