Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Strahlen von Werkstücken durch mindestens ein Schleuderwerk, das in eine durch ein Muldenband aus Gummilamellen gebildete Muldenbandtrommel abstrahlt, sowie mit einer Beschickungs-und Entleerungsvorrichtung.The invention relates to a device for blasting workpieces by at least one centrifugal unit, which emits into a trough belt drum formed by a trough belt made of rubber lamellae, and to a loading and emptying device.
Es sind Vorrichtungen der eingangs genannten Art in der unterschiedlichsten Weise bekannt. Das endlose Muldenband läuft um entsprechende Umlenkrollen um und wird selbständig angetrieben. Die Mulde wird an den Stirnseiten durch Seitenscheiben seitlich begrenzt. Die Werkstücke werden in die auf diese Weise gebildete Muldenbandtrommel eingegeben, umgewälzt und mit Hilfe der Schleuderwerke bestrahlt. Bei bekannten Vorrichtungen bestehen die Lamellen bzw. Glieder des Muldenbandes vollständig aus Gummi. Dieser Werkstoff ist einem verhältnismäßig großen Verschleiß durch Abrieb und insbesondere Schnittverletzungen durch scharfkantige Werkstücke ausgesetzt, so daß die Lebensdauer des Muldenbandes bei bestimmten Anwendungsfällen verhältnismäßig gering ist.Devices of the type mentioned in the most varied of ways are known. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, daß die Gummilamellen des Muldenbandes auf der dem oder den Schleuderwerken zugewandten Seite mit einer Metallauflage versehen sind. In vorteilhafter Weise besteht die Metallauflage aus einer verschleißarmen Materialgüte, z.B. Mit Hilfe eines Vulkanisationsverfahrens werden Gummi-und Metall- bzw. Stahlgußauflage miteinander verbunden, wobei die Auflage nur dort vorhanden zu sein braucht, wo ein Verschleiß zu erwarten ist, d.h. nur auf der im Betrieb oben liegenden Seite. Es hat sich erstaunlicherweise gezeigt, daß sich die Metallauflage so gut mit den Gummilamellen verbinden läßt, daß die übrigen Eigenschaften des Muldenbandes wie Schalldämpfung, Falldämpfung der Werkstücke erhalten bleiben, gleichzeitig aber die Lebensdauer erheblich verlängert wird.With the help of a vulcanization process, rubber and metal or cast steel supports are connected to one another, the support only needing to be present where wear is to be expected, i.e. only on the top side during operation. Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Gehäuse 1, in dessen oberem Bereich ein Schleuderwerk 2 angeordnet ist. Das Schleuderwerk 2 strahlt in eine Muldenbandtrommel ab, die durch ein umlaufendes Muldenband 3 und Seitunscheiben 4 gebildet wird. Das Muldenband 3 wird bei 5 angetrieben.
