Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention is based on a transceiver according to the preamble of claim 1.

From the “Patents Abstracts of Japan”, Vol. 3, No. 96, August 15, 1979, page 71 E 130, a radio device is known which has an elongated protective cover which, in a first position, has an end face of the radio device housing which carries the operating elements covered and acts as an antenna in a second position achieved by parallel displacement to the aforementioned end face. Furthermore, radio devices are known in which an antenna is used by a ferrite antenna inserted in a watch band (DE-B-1416084), by an antenna housed in a carrying strap (DE-U-1807959) or by parts of the radio device housing (DE-B-2153827) is formed.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The transmitter / receiver according to the invention with an antenna according to the characterizing features of claim 1 has the advantage that an antenna that is already present on the receiver, namely the clip provided for holding the receiver in the jacket pocket, is used as the antenna. As a result, no additional antenna is required; this reduces the manufacturing costs of the receiver.

The measures listed in the subclaims permit advantageous developments of the antenna specified in the main claim. It is particularly advantageous that the clip is only connected to the antenna output in its folded-up working position and at the same time performs a switching function, for example for activating the transmit button.

The invention is illustrated in the drawing and explained in more detail in the following description. Show it:
  • 1a to 1c a first embodiment of an antenna according to the invention in several operating positions;
  • 2a to 2c a second embodiment of an antenna according to the invention in several operating positions.

Beschreibung der AusführungsbeispieleDescription of the embodiments

In Fig. 1a, 11 is a portable pager transceiver, which has a known clip 10, which rests elastically on the receiver 11 in its rest position. The clip 10 serves to hold the receiver 11 in the user's Jakkentasche or the like. The clip 10 is connected to the receiver 11 via a joint 12, a cam (not shown in the drawing) with a spring generating the restoring force of the clip 10. As shown in FIG. 1 b, the clip 10 can, however, be deflected against this spring force and, as shown in FIG. 1 c, reaches its working position as an antenna when folded up. In this position, the clip 10 comes into contact with an antenna connection 13 of the transceiver 11 and can now be used as a transmitting / receiving antenna. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, folding up the clip 10 according to FIG. 1 c simultaneously causes the actuation of a further electrical contact, which preferably brings about an activation of the transmit button of the receiver 11. This ensures that the send button is only possible when the clip 10 is folded up, that is to say when the antenna is ready for operation. Of course, it is possible to take into account the function of the clip 10 when shaping the clip in such a way that the clip 10 has, for example, the function of an extension coil to achieve a more favorable RF radiation.

On the other hand, it is of course possible, in particular in the case of walkie-talkies, to use the rest position of the clip for reception, in that, according to the invention, the clip 10 is connected in the rest position to an antenna input of the receiver 11, not shown in the drawing, and continues to close a contact in the rest position, which activating the readiness to receive.

Ansonsten ist die Funktion des Clips 15 einerseits als Halteelement in Ruhestellung und andererseits als Antenne in Arbeitsstellung dieselbe, wobei in bevorzugter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung auch beim Clip 15 die Kontaktierung mit einem Antennenausgang in der Arbeitsstellung und die Betätigung des weiteren Kontaktes vorgesehen ist.1 to 1, the clip 10 has at least approximately the shape of a narrow spring element, FIGS. 2a to 2c show a further embodiment of an antenna according to the invention, in which a clip 15 is arranged on a receiver 14 , which has the shape of a flat spring. The pivoting of the clip 15 according to FIGS. 2b and 2c does not take place perpendicular to the rear wall of the receiver 14, but in the same plane. Otherwise, the function of the clip 15 on the one hand as a holding element in the rest position and on the other hand as the antenna in the working position is the same, whereby in a preferred embodiment of the invention the contact with an antenna output in the working position and the actuation of the further contact is also provided for the clip 15.
