Die Erfindung betrifft einen Einstecksockel für zylindrische Behälter der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 genannten Art.The invention relates to a socket for cylindrical containers of the type mentioned in the preamble of claim 1.

Einstecksockel dieser Art sind beispielsweise aus den Druckschriften US-A-2918188 und US-A-3 028 702 bekannt. Diese bekannten Einstecksockel dienen der Verbesserung der Standfestigkeit der in sie eingesteckten bzw. einsteckbaren zylindrischen oder zumindest im wesentlichen zylindrischen Behälter. Der aus der Druckschrift US-A-2 918 188 bekannte Einstecksockel weist radial spannende und im wesentlichen axial verlaufende Federelemente auf, die den eingesteckten zylindrischen Behälter umfassen und halten. Bei Ermüdung der Federn oder bleibender Verformung ist eine zuverlässige Halterung des zylindrischen Behälters im Einstecksockel nicht mehr gewährleistet. Je häufiger der zylindrische Behälter vom Einstecksockel abgenommen und wieder eingesteckt wird, desto rascher wird die Ermüdung eintreten und desto größer wird die Gefahr einer bleibenden Verformung der Federelemente durch die Einsteckvorgänge sein. Insbesondere zum Halten von Laboratoriumsgeräten, beispielsweise Meß-und Mischzylindern, ist dieser Sockel daher ungeeignet. Das gleiche gilt auch für den aus der Druckschrift US-A-3 028 702 bekannten Einstecksockel in Form eines Halters für Trinkgläser. Das in den Sockel eingesteckte Trinkglas erhält primär dadurch seinen gesicherten Stand, daß das Glas bis gut zur Hälfte seiner Höhe in den Sockel eingesteckt wird. Unter diesen Höhenverhältnissen vermögen die axialen Federelemente den eingesteckten zylindrischen Behälter, nämlich das Trinkglas, durchaus ausreichend zu halten. Eine solche ausreichende Halterung ist jedoch nicht mehr gewährleistet, wenn der zylindrische Behälter nur in einer Länge in den Einstecksockel eingesteckt werden kann und soll, die einem Bruchteil der Gesamthöhe des zylindrischen Behälters entspricht. Um einen Behälter unter diesen Umständen noch ausreichend zu haltern, müssen die Federelemente eine beachtliche radiale Vorspannung aufbringen. Dadurch wird aber nicht nur der eingesteckte zylindrische Behälter erheblichen radialen Kräften ausgesetzt, sondern auch die Gefahr einer Ermüdung der Federn erhöht. Claims (4)

1. A base for inserting a cyclindrical recipient, especially a metering and mixing cylinder (10), comprising an insert-socket (2) which is open at the upper side and is at least essentially cylindrical and which is connected to a bottom plate (1); on the inner wall of said insert-socket (2) female spring strips (4) are provided in an equal distance from each other; said female spring strips (4) are axially arranged and are radially biasing; said base is characterized in that at least one guide-rib (8) ist provided between two of said female spring strips (4) respectively, said guide-ribs (8) are fixed or formed in the axial direction of said base at the inner wall of said insert-socket (2), the main surfaces of said guide-ribs (8) are radially protruding essentially in a lamella like manner, the circle which is formed in the radial plane by the inner edges of said guide-ribs (8) has a diameter, that is larger than the diameter of the smallest circle, which is formed in the radial plane by the inner edges (11) of said female spring strips (4).
2. Base according to claim 1 wherein each of said female spring strip (4) is connected integrally with the upper rim of said insert-socket (2) by a connection-web (5) with dimensional stability and the lower portion of said female spring strip (4) which is arranged opposite to said connection-web (5) is resilient and radially movable, said inner edges (11) of said female spring strips (4) are upwardly opening and are conically extending in respect to the axis of said insert-socket (2) or are formed convex in the axial direction.
3. Base according to one of the claims 1 or 2, wherein said inner edges (11) of said female spring strips (4) comprise a concavely curved planar profile in the radial plane.
4. Base according to one of the claims 1 to 3, wherein three of said female spring strips (4) and three of said guide-ribs (8) are provided in said insert-socket (2).
