Claims (2)

1. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Sicke (11,11') an der Wand eines Metallrohres (1, 1') vorzugsweise geringer Dicke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man bei einem von jeglicher Füllung leeren Rohr (1, 1') in an sich bekannter Weise durch einen Arbeitsvorgang des Treibens des Metalls, wie etwa Kordeln, entlang des Umfangs des Rohres (1, 1') und an der der Seite, an welcher man die Sicke ausbilden möchte, gegenüberliegenden Seite eine durch zwei angrenzende Flanken (7, 8) begrenzte kreisförmige Kehle (6, 6', 17) anbringt, und daß man hierauf auf die Enden des Rohres (1, 1') einen axialen Druck ausübt, bis sich die zwei im Laufe der ersten Phase gebildeten angrenzenden Flanken (7, 8) berühren.
2. Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Sicke an einem Rohr nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im Laufe der ersten Phase durchgeführte Verformung des Rohres solcherart ist, daß der Boden (15) der Kehle (17) wenigstens die Fluchtlinie der Wand (19), an welcher die Sicke ausgebildet ist, erreicht.
