- the present invention relates to a gas burner, in particular for a cooking appliance, comprising a body made of two half-shells of pressed sheet metal assembled along their peripheries by projecting contiguous edges and a burner head surmounted by a cap. , comprising outlet ports for the fuel mixture, the upper half-shell having a single outlet port, while between this outlet port and said head is placed coaxially an intermediate ring which is fixed to the body of the burner and whose periphery interior is provided with a collar extending upward and acting as both a chimney and a member on which said head is adjusted.

Fig. 1 shows only one of these side tabs. They have externally and internally respective reinforcement ribs 12a and 12b.
