Das Blendrahmenprofil 7 ist aus Kupferwalzmaterial durch Rollformung hergestellt. Es ist an seiner Außenseite im wesentlichen glatt und an seinem dem Flügelrahmen 2 zugekehrten Ende gedoppelt und besitzt eine Abwinklung 9 um 90°, die sich im geschlossenem Zustand des Fensters an der Dichtung 4 anlehnt. Im Bereich der Verbindungsstelle mit dem H-förmigen Ansatz 5 ist das Blendrahmenprofil 7 doppelwandig ausgebildet, und zwar dergestalt, daß ein doppelwandiger Steg 10 und ein einwandiger Steg 11 das U-Profil 6 umfassen.
