Definitions
- the invention relates to a prefabricated building, in particular a prefabricated house with walls consisting of panel elements that are attached to one another in the area of perpendicular butt joints.
- the panel elements which could have a width of up to 8 m and are generally at least so wide that a window or door opening can easily be accommodated therein, are simply butted together.
- the resulting butt joints are grouted with permanently elastic material.
- the butt joints appear visibly, which is often perceived as disadvantageous with regard to the external tri appearance.
- Another disadvantage of the known arrangements is that the resulting butt joints are relatively exposed to the weather and therefore form an extraordinary weak point.
- butt joints arranged in the area of building corners are each designed as miter joints and / or in that butt joints arranged outside the building corners are each designed as overlap joints arranged in the lateral area of an associated wall niche that is open to the outside.
- US Pat. No. 3,605,353 shows and describes a panel for creating a shed-like building and a shed made from it.
- the known panels consist of a thin strip which has a thickening along a longitudinal edge into which a corner groove is embedded. In the assembled state, the strip of a first panel engages with its non-thickened longitudinal edge in the corner groove of the thickening of another panel.
- a bath tub apron or the like which should be beveled on its longitudinal edges so that two angularly abutting parts in the form of a miter joint adjoin each other.
- a sealing strip is arranged, which is provided on its longitudinal edge with laterally protruding sealing lips which rest on the components connected to one another and practically overlap the butt joint between these components.
- the joint is therefore emphasized by the sealing lips and not resolved in the wall construction.
- This is reinforced in the known arrangement in that the known prefabricated component is provided with a corner fitting in the area of its end faces.
- the panel elements colliding in the area of an overlap joint can be provided with mutually facing legs of different lengths offset by their thickness, the end of the longer leg overlapping the shorter leg to form the wall recess. Since the panel elements can have practically any width up to 8 m, the overlap joint can easily be placed so that its inner visible edge is covered by an inner partition or the like.
- the length of the mutual overlap can also be freely selected within wide limits, so that a sufficient distance can be maintained between a partition of the type mentioned above and a window arranged approximately in the area of the niche. Since the window parapet is practically integrated into the longer leg, weak points in this area are not to be feared.
- the component spanning the niche that is to say expediently the longer, not fully overlapped leg, can have a recess which is preferably delimited on all sides.
- the legs that overlap in the area of the overlap joint can be formed simply by lengthening or shortening the facing shell and the insulating layer relative to the core are. This ensures that, despite the overlap joint provided according to the invention, the panel elements attached to one another each adjoin one another with their core and can thus be fixed to one another in a simple manner.
- the outer walls of the prefabricated house indicated in FIG. 1 consist of panel elements 1, 2 and 3 which are attached to one another at right angles or in a flat extension and are of a type known per se.
- These panel elements 1 to 3 represent layer elements, each of which has a core 4 and an attachment shell 6 fastened to it with the interposition of an insulating layer 5.
- the core 4 suitably consists of lightweight concrete.
- the insulating layer can consist of a suitable foam, for example.
- the facing shell 6 is to be constructed here from concrete with a surface of washed concrete.
- the panel elements 1 and 2 which are attached at right angles to each other here, are mitred in the area of the corner, i.e. here bevelled at 45 °, so that there is a miter joint of the type indicated at 7.
- a miter joint of this type can also be realized with joint angles deviating from 90 °. In such a case, the bevelling of the elements 1 and 2 would then expediently run at half the joint angle.
- the inner and the outer visible edge of the miter joint 7 are clearly in the area of natural building edges and are therefore not perceived as disturbing.
- the miter joint can be grouted in a manner known per se with permanently elastic material, as indicated at 8.
- a dowel 9 can be provided in the area of the miter joint 7 in a manner known per se.
- the panel elements 1 and 2 are grooved in the area of their miter surfaces, so that there is an outwardly widening cavity which is poured out in a manner known per se.
- the overlap joint 10 thus formed is located on the side of an assigned wall recess 11 that is open to the outside.
- the butt joint resulting in the area of the abutting inner end flanks is covered to the outside due to the overlap provided here.
- the inner visible edge of this area of the overlap joint 10 can simply be covered by an attached partition 13.
- legs 14 and 15 are provided with laterally attached, mutually facing legs 14 and 15, which are of different lengths to form a niche of the type indicated at 11, so that the shorter leg 15 is only overlapped by the end of the longer leg 14.
- the legs 14 and 15 are accordingly offset in relation to one another by their thickness, so that in the region of one panel element there is sufficient engagement space for the leg of the other panel element and vice versa.
- the laterally attached legs 14 and 15 extend, as can further be seen in FIG. 2, over the entire height of the panel and are practically seamlessly integrated into the panel construction. As a result, the number of butt joints required can advantageously be reduced to the absolutely necessary minimum, which greatly simplifies assembly.
- the legs 14 and 15 are formed in that the facing shell 6 with the insulating layer 5 is simply shortened or lengthened relative to the core 4. This ensures that the two panel elements 2 and 3 abut with the full cross section of their core 4 and can be neatly pegged against one another, as indicated at 16, without this butt joint being visible to the outside.
- the free area of the core 4 forming the longer leg 14 can be provided with an insulating layer 17 and above it with a decorative wall covering 18, which is expediently colored in relation to the visible surface of the curtain shells 6.
- the wall covering 18 can simply be attached to a slatted frame 19.
- panel elements of the present type can be easily produced up to a size of 8 m, there is evidently great freedom of movement with regard to the location of the wall recess 11, so that priority can be given to architectural considerations. It is only necessary to ensure that the partition 13 has the desired distance from the opposite wall, here the panel element 1.
- the degree of overlap i.e. the length of the shorter leg 15 can also be selected within wide limits. This measure is expediently in the range between 40 and 70 cm. This clearly results in a relatively large distance of the inward core butt joint of the overlap joint 10 from the end flank 12 forming the adjacent niche boundary and thus already excellent security against pressurized water or wind and sound passage.
- the overlap joint 10 practically forms a labyrinth seal with multiple deflections.
- the position of the wall recess 11 relative to the partition wall 13 that may be provided can be varied further by variation in the area of overlap. It is therefore readily possible to give the partition wall 13 a sufficient distance from a window or the like which is preferably to be arranged in the area of the wall recess 11. If, as mentioned above, a window is to be provided in the area of the wall recess 11, which can be desirable in many cases for architectural reasons, the longer leg 14, as can best be seen in FIG. 2, is simply with a corresponding recess, advantageously surrounded on all sides 20 provided.
- the corresponding window can advantageously already be inserted at the factory into such a recess -20 which is surrounded on all sides.
- the parapet 21 provided in the area below the window recess 20 is in this case expediently integrated into the component receiving the recess 20 surrounded on all sides, here the long leg 14 without joints. so that there is practically no weak point in the window area.
- Any roller shutter guide rails that may be required can also be inserted at the factory into the freely ending end flanks 12 forming the lateral boundaries of the wall recess 11, as indicated at 22 in FIG. 1.
- the overlap dimension of 40 to 70 cm is easily sufficient to ensure sufficient stability in the region of the cheek 23 delimiting the recess 20 on the end face of the leg.
- the overlap joint 10 is designed in the manner of a fold. It would be re but also an overlap joint designed in the manner of tongue and groove is easily conceivable. In one embodiment of this type, a wall recess would result both in the area of the outside of the building and in the area of the inside of the building.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a prefabricated building, in particular a prefabricated house with walls consisting of panel elements that are attached to one another in the area of perpendicular butt joints.
In known arrangements of this type, the panel elements, which could have a width of up to 8 m and are generally at least so wide that a window or door opening can easily be accommodated therein, are simply butted together. The resulting butt joints are grouted with permanently elastic material. However, it cannot be avoided that the butt joints appear visibly, which is often perceived as disadvantageous with regard to the external tri appearance. One has already managed to cover the butt joints with the same material as the outer structure of the walls. On the one hand, however, this is not possible with many materials, such as the washed concrete or the like. On the other hand, it has also been shown, where such lamination is possible, that cracks appear after a relatively short time, which the external appearance deteriorate far more than the joints themselves. Another disadvantage of the known arrangements is that the resulting butt joints are relatively exposed to the weather and therefore form an extraordinary weak point.
Proceeding from this, it is therefore the object of the present invention, while avoiding the disadvantages of the type described above, to improve a prefabricated house in such a way that the butt joints between each colliding panel elements lie exclusively in the area of the facade edges and are therefore no longer recognizable as such. a permanent joint seal should nevertheless be guaranteed.
This object is achieved in a surprisingly simple manner according to the invention in that butt joints arranged in the area of building corners are each designed as miter joints and / or in that butt joints arranged outside the building corners are each designed as overlap joints arranged in the lateral area of an associated wall niche that is open to the outside.
The visible edges of the butt joints are only in the area of the facade edges and are therefore practically no longer recognizable as butt joints. This applies to the corners, where the butt joint falls precisely into the corner of the building due to the miter provided here and thus practically dissolves for the eye of the beholder, as well as for the butt joints arranged in the area between the corners, where the opposite end flanks are natural Limitation of the assigned wall niche appear, which can be highlighted architecturally with the help of cladding. Nevertheless, permanent joint sealing can be achieved. In the area of the building corners, the miter provided here increases the abutting surfaces compared to the normal panel cross section, so that a long sealing path is advantageously available. In addition, it has an advantageous effect in this regard that in the area of the miter joint each material consistency collides, which is particularly advantageous when using panel elements made in layered construction and is not achievable with the previously butt butt joint. The overlap in the area outside the building corners ensures that there is an uninterrupted wall in the area of the niche itself and that the butt joint leading into the interior of the building is relatively far from the niche edge. This results in practically a labyrinth seal with multiple deflections, which provides excellent security against pressurized water or against sound and wind passage.
No. 3,605,353 shows and describes a panel for creating a shed-like building and a shed made from it. The known panels consist of a thin strip which has a thickening along a longitudinal edge into which a corner groove is embedded. In the assembled state, the strip of a first panel engages with its non-thickened longitudinal edge in the corner groove of the thickening of another panel. In the known arrangement, however, the problem underlying the invention does not arise because, on the one hand, there is a problem Board wall allows heat and sound to pass through, even with a great deal of sealing effort, which is unacceptable for house construction and, on the other hand, the use of profiled boards results in a surface structure in which it is not important to cover the butt joints between two profiled boards, because the profiling itself is the limit marked between the individual boards. Use of the teaching that can be gathered from US Pat. No. 3,605,353 for the problem according to the invention would at most only result in providing the entire facade surface of a prefabricated house with a board shed.
Furthermore, from DE-AS 1 509 448 a finished part for forming a partition, a bath tub apron or the like is known, which should be beveled on its longitudinal edges so that two angularly abutting parts in the form of a miter joint adjoin each other. In the area of the miter joint, a sealing strip is arranged, which is provided on its longitudinal edge with laterally protruding sealing lips which rest on the components connected to one another and practically overlap the butt joint between these components. The joint is therefore emphasized by the sealing lips and not resolved in the wall construction. This is reinforced in the known arrangement in that the known prefabricated component is provided with a corner fitting in the area of its end faces. The above statements also apply to the case that the known prefabricated component is used to form a flat wall. The sealing of the joint area between two parts is in the arrangement according to the above DE-AS 1 509 448 almost exclusively left to the sealing lips mentioned. The beveled end face of the known prefabricated component is completely exposed. The extension of the possible sealing path achieved as a result of the miter cut is obviously not used here and obviously does not play a role when using sealing lips. No suggestion could be derived from this either.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the superordinate measures, the panel elements colliding in the area of an overlap joint can be provided with mutually facing legs of different lengths offset by their thickness, the end of the longer leg overlapping the shorter leg to form the wall recess. Since the panel elements can have practically any width up to 8 m, the overlap joint can easily be placed so that its inner visible edge is covered by an inner partition or the like. The length of the mutual overlap can also be freely selected within wide limits, so that a sufficient distance can be maintained between a partition of the type mentioned above and a window arranged approximately in the area of the niche. Since the window parapet is practically integrated into the longer leg, weak points in this area are not to be feared.
To accommodate a window, the component spanning the niche, that is to say expediently the longer, not fully overlapped leg, can have a recess which is preferably delimited on all sides. These measures ensure that such a window is already in the Manufacturing plant can be used, which greatly facilitates the sealing and at the same time significantly simplifies the assembly on site.
When using layered board elements that have a load-bearing core and a facing shell attached to it with the interposition of an insulating layer, the legs that overlap in the area of the overlap joint can be formed simply by lengthening or shortening the facing shell and the insulating layer relative to the core are. This ensures that, despite the overlap joint provided according to the invention, the panel elements attached to one another each adjoin one another with their core and can thus be fixed to one another in a simple manner.
Further expedient refinements and advantageous developments of the superordinate measures result from the following description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing in conjunction with the claims.

The outer walls of the prefabricated house indicated in FIG. 1 consist of
The
Of forming a planar wall to another e g - translated
In the illustrated embodiment, as best shown in FIG. 1, the
The degree of overlap, i.e. the length of the
The overlap joint 10 practically forms a labyrinth seal with multiple deflections. In addition, the position of the
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the overlap joint 10 is designed in the manner of a fold. It would be re but also an overlap joint designed in the manner of tongue and groove is easily conceivable. In one embodiment of this type, a wall recess would result both in the area of the outside of the building and in the area of the inside of the building.
