  • the cylinders 19 and 21 are actuated so that the two pairs of end sealing jaws 17 and 18 are caused to move towards each other whereby the parts of the tubing of sheet material present between the mandrel case 1 and the receptacle 14 are pressed onto each other and are sealed together so that the transverse seal seam in the sheet material at the rear face of the bale present in the receptacle 14 and the transverse seal seam in the sheet material of the front face of the foremost bale in the mandrel case 1 are formed simultaneously. These transverse seal seams are finally separated from each other by means of the knife fastened to the chain 23.

Claims (6)

1. Dispositif d'emballage pour emballer des articles dans un matériau pouvant être scellé à chaud, en particulier une feuille de matière plastique, ce dispositif comprenant un boîtier de mandrin (1) pour une succession d'articles à emballer, des moyens de convoyage pour convoyer un par un les articles vers l'extrémité de sortie du boîtier de mandrin, des moyens d'alimentation (4, 5, 6, 7) en toile pour amener au moins une feuille de toile vers le boîtier de mandrin, et des moyens de pliage (8, 9) pour plier ladite toile autour du boîtier de mandrin (1), des moyens de scellement longitudinal (12) pour sceller les bords longitudinaux de la toile qui se recouvrent et pour former ainsi un tube de matériau en feuille, et des mâchoires de scellement transversales (17, 18) disposées à l'extrémité de sortie du boîtier de mandrin (1), s'étendant perpendiculairement aux moyens de scellement longitudinal (12), caractérisé en ce que près de l'extrémité de sortie du boîtier de mandrin (1) est prévu un réceptacle (14) pourvu de moyens de serrage (24), ce réceptacle étant susceptible d'être déplacé entre une position.de transfert dans laquelle un article emballé peut être poussé à l'extérieur du réceptacle (14) par un article éjecté du boîtier de mandrin (1) par poussée, une position de traction dans laquelle un article retenu à l'intérieur du réceptacle (14) a été avancé d'une distance correspondant à au moins la hauteur d'un article, et une position de scellement dans laquelle les mâchoires de scellement transversal (17, 18) peuvent provoquer la formation d'un joint de scellement entre des parties du tube de la feuille de matériau pressées ensemble.
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le réceptacle est relié à au moins deux barres (15) dont la position peut être réglée au moyen d'un vérin hydraulique (16).
3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend deux paires de mâchoires de scellement terminales (17, 18) et en ce qu'entre les mâchoires de l'une desdites paires, est prévu un petit couteau pour couper la feuille de matériau entre les joints de scellement exécutés par les mâchoires de scellement terminales.
4. Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que le couteau est attaché à une chaîne d'entraînement (23) disposée entre les mâchoires d'une paire de mâchoires de scellement terminales (18), et en ce que ladite paire de mâchoires de scellement terminales est reliée au mécanisme de commande (21) de manière élastique verticalement.
5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que les mâchoires de scellement terminales (17, 18) coopérant avec un mécanisme de serrage de la feuille.
6. Dispositif selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme de serrage comprend deux barres pivotantes (31, 32) dont une partie s'étend au-delà du boîtier de mandrin (1), et chacune de ces barres est reliée à une mâchoire de scellement par un système de transmission (31, 37 inclus) et peut pivoter par déplacement de la mâchoire de scellement associée.
