Description

The invention relates to a releasable connection between two shell or plate-shaped components, e.g. for walls, floors, ceilings or the like, which comprises eyelets to be connected by pins in at least two different heights of the components, the eyelets of which interact at the same height and have a common axis approximately perpendicular to the surface of the component, each eyelet of one component in engages a correspondingly arranged recess of the other component.

Known connecting means which use clamping or screwing elements have the disadvantage that the joint gap between two adjacent components to be connected to one another must have a certain width in order to ensure unimpeded and rapid assembly or to accommodate the connecting means projecting in the connection area relative to the component surface to be able to. Therefore, cover strips are generally required, which close the joint gap on the visible side. The known partition walls have the disadvantage that, in the case of rasterized surfaces, the raster image often has to be interrupted due to the wide gap between the gaps, which e.g. with a surface made of ceramic tiles, but also with wood cladding or the like. is particularly disruptive. With such surfaces, one is therefore forced to first mount the unclad wall elements and then to attach the desired surface material. However, disassembly is no longer possible without at least partially destroying the wall elements.

A known detachable connection of the type mentioned at the outset (FR-A-1 157 689) provides for screwing two eyelets in such a way that when the screw is tightened, extensions of the eyelets which engage in recesses in the component not connected to the respective eyelet counteract brace the side walls of these depressions. This is to ensure that the surfaces of the interconnected components are flush. The diameter of the screw and thus the threaded holes in the eyelets is less than half the distance measured in the direction perpendicular to the joint plane between two adjacent components. Within the known connection, special angular reinforcements along the connecting edges of the components to be connected are required.

Pin-eye connections with pins inserted vertically into the eyes are also known for connecting load-bearing components (US-A-2 414 628, FR-A-1 330 703), the pins extending over the entire height of the components. It is not possible to assemble floor-to-ceiling components indoors.

In contrast, the present invention has for its object to provide a connection for wall elements that enables particularly narrow joint spacing and thus in particular meets the essential requirement for wet room construction that the joint gap is not wider than the joint width usual when laying ceramic tiles, namely 3 mm.

According to the invention this object is achieved in that measured in the direction perpendicular to the joint plane, the openings formed by the eyelets, the pin and the joint themselves have the same dimensions except for small tolerances, and that each eyelet is opened up to the recess in the other Engages component.

Such a pin-eye connection is easy to produce; the pin, and correspondingly the eyelet opening can be made almost arbitrarily small, with commercially available nails being suitable as pins. After the components to be connected have been brought into position, the attachment of the pin is extremely simple, the only thing that is important is that the eyelets are aligned with one another, so that the pin can be inserted approximately horizontally. The pin can either be pulled or pulled through to release the connection.

Additional wedging or other securing of the position in the joint area can be dispensed with in that the openings formed by the eyelets, the pin and the joint itself have the same dimensions except for small tolerances in a direction perpendicular to the joint plane. In this embodiment, the pin fits exactly into the opening common to the eyelets and lies otherwise, i.e. outside the eyelets, on the surface of the components in the joint area. The result is a secure, inherently firm, play-free connection. In the case of a tiled wall surface, the eyelets or the pin should be dimensioned so that the joint width is about 3 to 4 mm.

In the context of the invention, it can also be expedient to secure the pins to arrange the eyelets at an angle or offset from one another, such that the pin runs somewhat obliquely downwards from the outside inwards. This prevents it from falling out, even if it is loose.

A particularly advantageous embodiment provides that one of the two components to be connected, the other one has an eyelet, which engages in alignment with the other two eyelets in the connecting position.

In the case of a connection between two wall elements which have sheet metal shells, it is provided that the eyelets are formed by punched tabs, each eyelet of one shell protruding with its apex region by sheet thickness into a correspondingly arranged opening in the other shell. In this way, semi-cylindrical or hat-shaped bulging eyelets are created, the dimensions of which solution perpendicular to the opening plane can be several times the joint width.

In order to ensure that wall elements connected to one another connect flush to form a common surface, according to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that in the connection area two or more projections of one component also correspond with holes of the other component, with projections and holes at least in one Direction perpendicular to the wall surface are closely tolerated. This proposal can be easily implemented in wall elements with sheet metal shells in such a way that the protrusions of one shell are formed into a button-like shape by pressing or stamping the sheet metal shell and that the holes of the other shell are circular punched-outs in cross section. Alternatively, the holes can be designed as elongated holes with a longitudinal axis parallel to the visible surface. This alternative offers the possibility that removing a component, e.g. a wall bowl from which the dressing can be lifted slightly.

The above-mentioned use of projections and holes also facilitates the assembly of the components, since they secure their mutual position, in which the pins can then be easily hammered into the eyelets.

With regard to the arrangement of the different connecting means, it is expedient for the connecting means having eyelets and projections to be provided at a short distance above one another and several times at different heights, approximately three times for room-high wall elements.

A universal usability for all types of components made of different materials, such as sheet metal, wood, plastic, plaster or the like is given by the fact that the eyelets on separate profile pieces or profile rails that can be connected to the components and that extend over the entire height of the components extend in the connection area, are arranged.

Overall, the connection proposed according to the invention fulfills the special requirements when assembling components; it ensures an exact position of the wall elements next to each other, is insensitive to construction, does not in any way prevent the application of joint seals in the area of the wall surface and, above all, comes from the fact that it enables a particularly narrow joint gap to meet customer requirements, e.g. in tiled wet rooms or the like, when using wall elements, do not tolerate an interruption of the tiled surface in the area of the joint gap.

To represent the connecting means acc. 1 to 5 it should be noted that FIGS. 2 and 5 are sections according to FIG. 11-11 and V-V of FIG. 1 and that FIGS. 3 and 4 are sections according to. 111-111 and IV-IV of Fig. 2.

Zur Sichtseite hin ist der Fugenspalt 7 durch ein elastisches Dichtungsband 10 verschlossen.1 shows an eyelet-pin connection in the upper part, an eyelet 1 being connected to the left component 5 and an eyelet 2 being connected to the right component 4. A pin 6 is inserted through both eyes. In the lower area of the joint gap 7 between the two components 4, 5, a button-shaped projection 8 connected to the left component 5 is provided as a further connection, which protrudes into a corresponding hole 9 of the right component 4. While the upper connection is used to fasten the two components, the task of the lower connection is to ensure the flat connection of the two components. This can be clearly seen from the representation acc. Fig. 5, in which the projection 8 is received closely in the direction of the joint depth in the region of the hole 9 of the right component 4. On the visible side, the gap 7 is closed by an elastic sealing tape 10.

Der Stift 6 passt genau in den Öffnungsbereich der durch die fluchtend hintereinander angeordneten Ösen gebildeten gemeinsamen Öffnung und entspricht in seinem Durchmesser genau der Breite der Fuge 7.2 makes it clear that the pin 6 is inserted through a total of three eyelets, the first and third eyelets 1, 3 being connected to the left component 5, and the middle eyelet 2 being connected to the right component 4. In the area of the apex of each eyelet of a component, the opposite component has an opening 11, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. While FIG. 3 shows an enlarged vertical section through an eyelet 1 connected to the right component 5, FIG. 4 shows the eyelet 2 connected to the right component 4 in the same manner of representation. The pin 6 fits exactly into the opening area which is in alignment successively arranged eyelets formed common opening and corresponds in diameter exactly to the width of the joint 7.

The wall elements 12, 13 each consist of a C-shaped shell 15, a sound-absorbing insulating layer 16, which extends over the entire rear of the front wall part 17 of the shell 15, a covering of ceramic tiles 18 on the outside of the front wall part 17 of the shell 15 and from cross members 19 which serve to stiffen the wall elements and are provided several times over the total height of the wall element, preferably at the level of the respective connecting means. The cross members 19 have a punch 20, the content of which is bent in the form of the tabs 21 in the vertical direction to secure the position of the insulating layer 16. The cross members 19 can have a flat or hat-shaped profile; they extend over the entire hollow cross section of the wall shells 15 and are each connected at their end faces to the side wall parts 22 of the wall shells 15.

Also in the corner arrangement described, both wall elements can already be completely prefabricated with the tile covering 18 and connected to one another by means of the connecting means already described in more detail in connection with FIGS. 1 to 5, after which a corner seal 23 is attached.

Fig. 2 entspricht. Zur Befestigung dienen an den in den Fugenbereich einkragende Endkanten 27 ausgestanzte Federlaschen 28, welche nach dem Einschieben in entsprechende Rasteröffnungen 29 in den seitlichen Wandteilen 22 der Wandschalen 15 eingreifen.7 shows a partition section in the connection area, the connection being roughly as shown in FIG. Fig. 2 corresponds. Both wall elements 24, 25 have a covering of ceramic tiles 18 on one side and a counter shell 26 on the opposite side. The counter shell 26, like the wall shell 15, preferably consists of sheet metal, either steel sheet or aluminum sheet. It can have an anodized, painted or other surface. For fastening purposes, spring tabs 28 are punched out at the end edges 27 projecting into the joint area and engage after engagement in corresponding grid openings 29 in the side wall parts 22 of the wall shells 15.

Zwei im Fugenbereich stumpf zusammenstossende Dichtungsbänder 36 sitzen in Nuten der beiden Platten 30, 31, die zum Fugenspalt hin offen sind.8 shows a connection between two plates 30, 31, on which angle profiles 32, 33 are fastened in the connection area by means of the screws 34, 35, on which the eyelets 1, 2, 3 are provided. A frameless nail serves as pin 6; Also suitable are conventional nails with a flattened head part, on the projections of which they can be pulled out during disassembly. Two sealing tapes 36 butt-butting in the joint area are seated in grooves in the two plates 30, 31 which are open towards the joint gap.
