Description

The invention relates to a double flat spring formed in one piece from a sheet metal stamped part with a central base part, a claw part adjoining it in the longitudinal direction at one end and a contact spring part adjoining the other end with a pair of double spring arms angled at right angles to one side with respect to the claw part, the contact spring part being two opposite one another has arranged spring arm pairs, which are each connected to a spring arm base and the spring arm bases are connected to one another on the outside via a web.

A double flat spring of the generic type is described in DE-A1-2418 019. This double flat spring does not appear to have a dimensional stability that meets the technical requirements and therefore there is a risk that the spring arms can be easily bent over.

Analogously, it is an object of the invention to improve a double flat spring of the type mentioned at the outset in relation to the dimensional stability.

This object is alternatively achieved by the features of claims 1 and 2, while advantageous embodiments of the invention are characterized in the dependent claims.

The invention has created a double flat spring with increased dimensional stability, which is characterized in particular in that bending of the contact spring part is avoided when the spring arms are loaded.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing.

The double flat spring according to the invention has the claw part 1 and the contact spring part 2, which are connected to one another via a base part 3. The claw part 1 is constructed in a manner known per se and essentially preferably consists of a conductor claw 4 and an insulation claw 5.

The contact spring part 2 has two known, oppositely arranged spring arm pairs 6, which are each connected to a spring arm base 8 or 9, the two spring arm bases 8, 9 being connected to one another via an outside web 10. The web 10 is arranged in the board parallel to the longitudinal axis of the claw part 1 and, in relation to the latter in the shaped state of the double flat spring, represents a return bend of the spring arm base 8 to the spring arm base 9 in such a way that the spring arm pair 6 is arranged above the spring arm pair 7 and itself this results in the shape of the contact spring part 2 at right angles to the claw part 1 to one side.

According to a special embodiment of the invention, the base part 3 forms an abutment for the spring arm pair 6 or the spring arm base 8. For this purpose, the base part 3 is designed like a cage and, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 4, consists of the one with the spring arm base 9 the connecting web 11 connected floor 12 and the sideways raised obliquely raised side walls 13. The side walls 13 merge in the front into the rolled abutment lugs 14 which overlap a support web 15 connected to the spring arm base 8 and thereby the bending of the contact spring part 2 when the spring arms are loaded support. In this respect, the cage is formed by the bottom 12, the side walls 13, the lugs 14 and the web 15. It is expedient if the support web 15 has a support edge 16 which abuts the front edge of a side wall 13.

The embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8 shows an angled double flat spring with a locking arm. The cage of the base part 3 is also designed somewhat differently than in the case of FIGS. 1 to 4. The locking arm 17 adjoins the support web 15 and is angled upward. In this case, only a rolled-in abutment nose 14a, which is cut with respect to the spring arm pair 7, serves for support. It is the abutment for both the double flat spring and for the locking arm 17. It is advantageous in this case that the support web 15 is partially cut in relation to the spring arm pair 6, which facilitates the shaping. Furthermore, the side wall 13a has a guide web 18 which is pulled upward in its extension and which can cooperate with guide elements in a housing (not shown). Otherwise, the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 to 8 is similar to that according to FIGS. 1 to 4, which is expressed by the choice of the same numbers.

With the invention it has been possible to create a particularly dimensionally stable, box-shaped double flat spring, in which the contact spring part is arranged at an angle to the claw part.
