Der Aufzeichnungsträger 1 ist mittels der Schreibwalze 7 transportierbar, welche über nicht dargestellte Mittel in bekannter Weise antreibbar ist. Der scheibenförmige Typenträger 5 weist an seinem Umfang radial verlaufende Typenarme 9 auf, an deren Enden jeweils die Typenelemente 11 angeordnet sind. Die Typenelemente 11 werden durch mit dem scheibenförmigen Typenträger 5 in Wirkverbindung stehende Steuermittel vor die Abdruckstelle 13 gebracht, wobei die Typenelemente durch einen nicht dargestellten Hammer mit Hilfe eines Farbbandes 15 auf dem Aufzeichnungsträger 1 zum Abdruck gebracht werden. Das Farbband 15 wird von einer Vorratsspule 19 abgewickelt, welche in einer auf dem Schlitten 3 austauschbar angeordneten Kassette 17 drehbar gelagert ist, und gelangt durch einen Schlitz dieser Kassette 17 zu 2 im Abstand zueinander angeordneten Farbbandführungsgabel 21, 23. Diese Farbbandführungsgabel 21, 23 führen das Farbband 15 im Bereich der Abdruckstelle parallel zur Ebene des Aufzeichnungsträgers 1. Die beiderseits des scheibenförmigen Typenträgens angeordneten Führungen 27, 29 für die Farbbandgabel 21, 23 weisen nach innen gerichtete Lagerarme 31, 33 auf, zwischen denen ein dünner Schutzstreifen 35 unterhalb der Druckzeile zwischen dem scheibenförmigen Typenträger 5 und dem parallel zur Schreibebene-geführten Teil des Farbbandes 15 gespannt angeordnet ist. Mit diesem Schutzstreifen 35 sind beidseitig Exzenterbolzen 37, 39 reibungsschlüssig verbunden, wobei deren Exzenter 38, 40 in Lagerbohrungen 41, 43 des Schutzstreifens 35 und deren Bolzen 45, 47 in in Schreibrichtung angeordneten Langlöchern 49, 51 der Lagerarme 31, 33 verschiebbar und durch Schrauben 53, 55 arretierbar gelagert sind. Mittels dieser Exzenterbolzen 37, 39 ist der Schutzstreifen 35, der an seiner Oberkante 57 mit Zeilenmarkierungen 59 und mit einer Mittenmarkierung 61 versehen ist, genau auf die Zeilen ausrichtbar angeordnet. Die Zeilenmarkierungen 59 und die Mittenmarkierung 61 sind mit den Schutzstreifen 35 einstückig ausgebildet. Die Zeichenmarkierungen 59 bestehen aus Vorsprüngen 62 mit auf einer gemeinsamen Geraden befindlichen Kanten 63. Zu diesem Zweck weist der Schutzstreifen an beiden Enden je einen Ansatzbolzen 75 auf, der mittels einer Rastausnehnung 77 an einem fedrig ausgebildeten Arm und einer Kante 81 an den Führungen 27 bzw. 29 verrastbar ist, siehe Figur 3. Die beiden Schenkel 83, 8,5 der u-förmigen Ausnehmung 65 sind an der Einlaufseite für die federnden Typenarre 9 des scheibenförmigen Typenträgers 5 abgerundet ausgebildet. Hierdurch wird vermieden, daß bei der unmittelbar nach dem Abdruckvorgang einsetzenden Rückstellbewegung der scheibenförmige Typenträge 5 die noch in der u-förmigen Ausnehmung befindlichen federnden Typ arme 9 nicht an den Schenkeln 83, 85 verhaken. Die Abrundungen an den Schenkeln 83, 85 begünstigen sogar ein schnelles Zurückstellen uer Typenarme 9 des scheibenförmigen Typenträgers 5.
