Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a switch arrangement with switches fully equipped for both the normally closed and for the normally open function, in each of which one type of function is blocked by an isolating part which can optionally be placed between the contacts interacting as normally closed or as normally open.
Such switch arrangement is known in various constructive forms from DE-PS 14 90 042. The switches, which can be changed in their function, are equipped there with the switch contacts required for the normally closed as well as for the normally open function, the respective switch contacts for one of the Both functional types are prevented from making contact by the optionally implementable insulating part. Such in their contact function selectively changeable Sohelteranrangungen are increasingly desirable in control technology, both with manually operated switches as well as with automatically operated contacts, for. B. with auxiliary hats. A change in the contact functions should be achieved as easily as possible without the addition of auxiliary parts.
In the switch arrangements according to DE-PS 14 90 042, the insulating parts consist of small, relatively thin-walled insulating coatings of the fixed or movable contact pieces and are mechanically and u. U. also thermally stressed. As a result of their arrangement in the immediate vicinity of the contact points, insulation faults or creepage distances can result after prolonged use, which endangers the functional reliability of the switch arrangement. In addition, the known switches have to be largely taken apart in order to be able to carry out the somewhat difficult work of re-switching or moving the relatively small insulating parts. The function change can only be carried out with such an intervention in the device that an impairment of the functional safety cannot be ruled out. Furthermore, the possibility is not possible with the known switch arrangements given to change the connection designations at the same time as the function change, which is why these known switch arrangements no longer meet the requirements placed on connection designations today.
The invention has for its object to improve the known switch arrangements in such a way that the switchability of the contact function (opener or closer) is achieved without impairing the functional reliability and the wear resistance of the switch arrangement.
Starting from a switch arrangement according to the generic term, the solution to this problem is achieved in accordance with the invention in that the insulating part in both installation positions has stops located outside the contact points, which ensure an air gap between the contact pieces blocked by contacting. In the invention, the insulating part directly fulfills only the stop function, wherein it only indirectly fulfills its insulation task by ensuring an air gap between the contact pieces to be blocked. The stops arranged outside the contact points can now be made robust and very wear-resistant, so that the insulating air gap between the blocked contact pieces is reliably maintained even after a long period of use; if necessary, the stops can also be designed as metal parts.
In an embodiment of the invention it can further be provided that the insulating part can be implemented on the outside of the housing of the switch arrangement. This has the advantage that the switch arrangements for a change of function no longer have to be taken apart, but that z. B. only an insulating part attached to the housing must be removed from the housing and must be attached to the housing in a position turned by 180 °. As a result, a change of function can be carried out very simply and very easily and without endangering the functional reliability of the switch arrangement. The part which changes the switch function can also be fixed to the housing, but rotatable by 180 ° (FIG. 9).
In a further development of the invention it can further be provided that the convertible insulating part carries on its upper and on its lower end face connection diagrams for opening and closing functions, of which, depending on the installation position, only the relevant designations are on the visible side of the switch arrangement. The insulating part can also be designed in such a way that it possibly covers fixed connection designations for the two types of functions in such a way that. only the function number of the set switch function can be read. These measures ensure that at the same time the function type is changed, the connection designations present at the connection terminals are inevitably correct.
Weitere, in dan Unteransprüchen angegebene Merkmale kennzeichnen sehr zweckdienliche konstruktive Verwirklichungen des Erfindungsgegenstandes.Further features specified in the subclaims characterize very useful constructive realizations of the subject matter of the invention.

In each switch chamber there are two
In the
The two pin-
Terminal designations are printed on the end faces of the convertible
In the auxiliary switch attachment for an auxiliary contactor explained in FIGS. 5, 6 and 7, the changeable contacts are placed in the outer chambers and thus in turn are accessible to the influence of the implementable
The four-pole attachment is pushed laterally onto the
Since the
In order to be able to print the
Fig. 8 shows a switch arrangement in which each contact piece of a
