Eine derartige Klemmspange ist aus der US-A-1557396 bekannt. Hierbei ist es notwendig, daß, vor allem in der Klemmstellung, eine Sicherung vorhanden ist gegen das unbeabsichtigte Öffnen der Klemmspange. Eine derartige Sicherung ist aus der DE-C-175 307 in Form einer Rastklinke bekannt, die in eine Zahnung am Kipphebel eingreift. Die Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtiges Öffnen erfolgt bei dieser bekannten Klemmspange in Form zusätzlicher Sicherungselemente, die am Kipphebel angreifen. Auch die Ausführungsform in der Fig. 7 der US-A-15 57 396 besitzt hierzu eine Flügelschraube. Bei der in der Fig. 1 bis 3 der US-A-15 57 396 gezeigten Ausführungsform besteht nämlich die Gefahr, daß der Kipphebel aus der Klemmstellung bei unbeabsichtigtem leichten Berühren in die geöffnete Stellung kommt, da die am Kipphebel vorgesehene Rolle auf dem beweglichen Klemmbügel aus der Klemmstellung kommend leicht abrollen kann.In contrast to this, when joining flat workpieces, in particular sheet metal dividers:, holding flat workpieces lying on one another is to be achieved. Wie aus den Figuren zu ersehen ist, sind die beiden Klemmbügel 1 und 2 zu einer U-förmigen Spange verbunden. Wie insbesondere aus der Fig. 3 zu ersehen ist, sind die Klemmbügel auseinandergespreizt. Beim Einbau der Spange bzw. der Klemmbügel 1 und 2 in eine Fassung 5, werden die beiden Klemmbügel 1 und 2 selbsttätig aufgrund der in der Spange wirksamen Federkraft in die in der Fig. 1 dargestellte geöffnete Stellung verbracht. Die Fassung 5 kann von einer U-förmig gebogenen Platte gebildet sein, in deren Krümmung 9 der eine Klemmbügel 2 angeordnet und dort befestigt ist. Hierzu kann der Klemmbügel 2 einen gegenüber den übrigen Klemmbügelteilen um eine geringe Strecke na ;h innen versetzten Teil aufweisen, an welchem die U-förmig gebogene Platte befestigt ist. Es ist auch möglich, hier an dieser Stelle die Profilierung des Bügels zu ändern, so daß eine leichtere Befestigungsmöglichkeit im Bereich der Krümmung der U-förmig gebogenen Platte möglich ist. In zusammengebautem Zustand ist daher eine Verschiebung der Fassung 5 gegenüber dem Klemmbügel 2 nicht möglich. Der Klemmbügel 1 ist aufgrund der Federkraft, welche durch die Spange verliehen wird, gegen einen in der Nähe der beiden freien Enden der U-förmig gebogenen Platte 5 angeordneten Kipphebel 6 angedrückt. Dieser Kipphebel 6 weist im wesentlichen zwei Kanten 7 und 8 auf, die gegenüber einer Schwenkachse 10 des Klemmhebels unterschiedliche Abstände aufweisen. Der Abstand der Kante 7 von der Schwenkachse 10 ist kürzer als der Abstand der Kante 8. Wenn wie in der Fig. 1 dargestellt, der Klemmbügel 1 an der Kante 7 des Kipphebels 6 anliegt, befindet sich die Klemmspange in der dargestellten geöffneten Stellung. Wenn der Klemmbügel 1 gegen die Kante 8 des Kipphebels 6 anliegt, befindet sich die Klemmspange in der in der Fig. 2 dargestellten Klemmstellung.
