Definitions
- the invention relates to a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder, which can be installed in a door that has a fixed button or the like on the outside and a conventional handle on the inside, and which can be opened with the key is allowed both from the outside and from the inside.
- this door is said to be in conventional Licher way can only be opened from the inside with the handle when the lock is released from the lock latch.
- a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder which according to the invention is designed in accordance with the characterizing part of the first claim.
- the pinion is also set in rotation, which transmits this rotary movement by means of the toothed rack to the displaceable locking bar, which then executes a to-and-fro movement, which can be used for locking purposes.
- the invention is concerned with a door lock with a key-operated locking cylinder installed in a door with a frame.
- a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that all pinion teeth correspond in shape and size to the lock bit of the lock cylinder and the lock bit forms one of the pinion teeth. This is a special toothing, which of course must also be attached to the counterpart interacting with this pinion.
- the advantage of this embodiment is that a conventional lock cylinder can be used, which is very advantageous for reasons of cost and also with regard to the repair and possible retrofitting of an existing lock.
- the one pinion part of the two-part pinion which is designed as a pinion with a missing tooth, is connected to the locking bit element with the interposition of a sleeve-like intermediate element, the intermediate element having two bridging elements arranged on both sides of the locking bit.
- the latter viewed in the circumferential direction, bridge the distance between the locking bit and the teeth arranged on both sides of the pinion part formed with a missing tooth, the gap in the area of the missing tooth having to be hardened wider than the tooth thickness for reasons of assembly.
- the locking bit be designed as a pinion segment and is supplemented by a partial sprocket to form an entire sprocket, both sprocket parts being connected in a plug-in manner.
- the pinion segment can have one or more teeth and possibly tooth gaps or tooth gap parts. Because this lock bit anyway has a different shape from the usual, you can choose its width according to the door lock in this area, so that the pluggable, non-positive and / or positive connection with a partial pinion is possible directly, ie without the interposition of a corresponding intermediate link. Nevertheless, this lock cylinder can also be installed in a conventional door lock.
- the intermediate member preferably consists of an injection molded plastic part which is relatively easy to manufacture.
- the door lock 1 is installed in a door leaf 2 in a conventional manner. His lock latch 3 can be withdrawn with the help of an inside handle 4. On the outside 5 of the door leaf 2 there is a fixed outside button 6 instead of a handle. Both on the inside and outside, a key can be inserted into the lock cylinder 7, so that the door lock can be locked from both sides. In addition, the lock latch 3 can be unlocked in a known manner not only with the help of the inside handle 4, but also the key. The lock latch engages in a known locking plate (not shown) of the frame.
- the door 2 can now not only be locked with the frame via the lock latch 3, which can even be omitted due to the special design of this door lock, but rather is locked with the frame by means of several locking pins 8. These are on one in the direction of the double arrow 9 slidably mounted, outside by a faceplate 10 covered locking bar 11 attached. They interact with striking plates or the like, not shown, on the frame.
- the lock bit of the locking cylinder 7 is part of a pinion or is coupled to a pinion which is operatively connected to a toothed rack 12, the toothed rack or at least one thrust member connected thereto being designed as a displaceable locking bar 11.
- all pinion teeth 13 are designed in shape and size in accordance with the lock bit 14, which forms one of the pinion teeth (FIG. 4).
- the lock bit 15 is given a special shape and is designed as a pinion segment which, after being plugged onto a partial pinion 16, is supplemented to form an entire pinion 17.
- the width 18 of this locking bar 15 corresponds to the width of the locking cylinder 7 at this point.
- the locking cylinder 7 can be pushed onto the partial pinion 16, as seen perpendicular to the image plane (FIG. 6).
- the inner contour 19 of the partial pinion corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the locking cylinder 7 insofar as it is overlapped.
- the extinction takes place simultaneously Lock cylinder a form-fitting coupling of the lock bit 15. For this reason, the rotation of the key and thus also the lock bit 15 results in a rotary movement of the pinion 17.
- the locking cylinder 7 In order to facilitate the assembly of the locking cylinder 7, there is, for example made of plastic, in particular cup-shaped guide bushing 26, into which the partial pinion is inserted and which facilitates the insertion of the locking cylinder, inside the lock case 25.
- the pinion 17 or 24 of the lock cylinder 7 is connected to the rack 12 via at least one intermediate wheel 27, but preferably via a reduction gear 28, coupled.
- the gear ratio is preferably about 1: 8.
- a double rotation of the key causes the gear 29 or the coaxial pinion 30, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner, to rotate a quarter turn. The latter engages with the rack 12.
- the teeth of the gear 29 mesh with those of a further pinion 32, which is coaxial with the intermediate gear 27 is arranged, whose teeth engage those of the pinion 17 or 24.
- the toothed rack 12 is connected to the locking rod 11, which consists of two parts, via a drive rod 33 which can be pushed in the lock case 25.
- One part of the locking bar is located above and the other below the lock latch 3.
- the locking bar 11 carries the locking pins 8, which penetrate corresponding openings 34 in the faceplate 10. These are shaped as long slots in a known manner.
- the free, upward or downward ends of the locking bar 11 can be shown in a manner not shown be designed as locking members which can be locked or unlocked in corresponding locking recesses on the upper cross member of the frame or below on a threshold or the like. This locking can be provided in addition or as an alternative to the locking with the locking pin 8.
- the drive rod 33 has a U-shaped cross section with an opening in the U-central web for the lock latch 3 of the door lock 1 according to the invention. Furthermore, a locking plate 36 is attached to the inner surface of the one U-leg 35, which in the locked position of the locking rod 11 Paragraph 37 of the lock latch 3 engages behind (Fig. 8). So that the lock latch can not be brought into the unlocked position when the lock 1 is closed even by the inside handle 4.
- a driver pin 38 is fastened to the intermediate wheel 27 of the reduction gear 28. It allows the lock latch 3 to be withdrawn by turning the key inserted into the lock cylinder 7.
- the key is turned in a known manner, namely in the direction of arrow 39
- Fig. 3 shows the starting position of the driver pin 38 when the lock is closed twice.
- the idler gear 27 and the driving pin 38 rotate in the direction of arrow 40 by approximately 340 °.
- the free, downward-facing end of a change lever 41 pivots due to its own weight and / or driven by a spring in the direction of arrow 42 as soon as the driving pin 38 has been released from its edge 43.
- the shoulder-like driver edge 44 of the change lever 41 then comes into the range of motion of the driver bolt 38.
- the driver bolt 38 has at least approximately reached the driver edge 44. If the key is now turned in the unlocking direction, ie in the direction of arrow 39, this causes the change lever 41 to be displaced in the direction of arrow 45.
- the change lever 41 is rotatably mounted on a release lever 46 which in turn is mounted on the lock case 25 about the axis 47 in the sense of the double arrow 48.
- the lock latch 3 With an upward movement of the change lever 41 in the sense of Arrow 45 pulled out of its striking plate of the frame, that is, moved in the direction of arrow 50.
- a reset takes place by means of the spring 51, which engages on an extension 52 of the lock latch 3.
- a manual release of the lock latch 3 can, as already explained, be carried out with the help of the inner handle 4, which is inserted into the square bore 53 of the handle nut 54.
- a return spring of the handle follower is designated 55.
- the lock latch 3 is symmetrical and fastened to the latch slide 57 by means of screws 56.
- the screws are arranged on the side of the lock case 25 and are consequently only accessible when the lock is removed. In this way, willful damage to the lock latch is excluded.
- the reduction gear 28 is held by means of a safety pin, not shown, preferably designed as a 'shear pin'. This is an easier installation.
- the shear pin blocks the gearbox in the mounting position for the locking cylinder 7. If the gear is moved for the first time, this locking pin is sheared, the task of which is fulfilled after the assembly or installation of the locking cylinder with the pinion 17 or 24. In the event of a repair, you can remove the two halves of the shear pin and insert a new shear pin before reinserting the new or repaired locking cylinder.
- the door lock according to the invention does not have a locking bolt, as is common with skin door locks in addition to the lock latch. This bolt is not required per se, since the lock is already locked in itself. If such an additional bolt is desired for security reasons, it can be installed in such a lock without major difficulties.
Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder. The problem with lockable doors, particularly those leading to the outside, especially when the temperatures on both sides are different, is that they warp.
This is mainly due to the fact that these doors are only locked in the area of the lock latch or bolt with the frame. For this reason, locks with a built-in gear for front doors have already been developed. The door is locked to the frame in the manner of a central lock by means of locking bars or locking pins. The locking pins are operated using the handle. So that locking from the outside is also possible, there is also a handle on the outside instead of the usual fixed button. This has the disadvantage that the doors can be opened from the outside at any time using the handle if they are not locked.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder, which can be installed in a door that has a fixed button or the like on the outside and a conventional handle on the inside, and which can be opened with the key is allowed both from the outside and from the inside. In addition, this door is said to be in conventional Licher way can only be opened from the inside with the handle when the lock is released from the lock latch.
To solve this problem, a door lock with a key-operated lock cylinder is proposed, which according to the invention is designed in accordance with the characterizing part of the first claim. By turning the key, the pinion is also set in rotation, which transmits this rotary movement by means of the toothed rack to the displaceable locking bar, which then executes a to-and-fro movement, which can be used for locking purposes. In this respect, the invention is concerned with a door lock with a key-operated locking cylinder installed in a door with a frame.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that all pinion teeth correspond in shape and size to the lock bit of the lock cylinder and the lock bit forms one of the pinion teeth. This is a special toothing, which of course must also be attached to the counterpart interacting with this pinion.
The advantage of this embodiment is that a conventional lock cylinder can be used, which is very advantageous for reasons of cost and also with regard to the repair and possible retrofitting of an existing lock.
According to a development of the invention, it is proposed that the one pinion part of the two-part pinion, which is designed as a pinion with a missing tooth, is connected to the locking bit element with the interposition of a sleeve-like intermediate element, the intermediate element having two bridging elements arranged on both sides of the locking bit. The latter, viewed in the circumferential direction, bridge the distance between the locking bit and the teeth arranged on both sides of the pinion part formed with a missing tooth, the gap in the area of the missing tooth having to be hardened wider than the tooth thickness for reasons of assembly.
According to another variant of the invention, it is proposed that the locking bit be designed as a pinion segment and is supplemented by a partial sprocket to form an entire sprocket, both sprocket parts being connected in a plug-in manner. The pinion segment can have one or more teeth and possibly tooth gaps or tooth gap parts. In the embodiment described above, the intermediate member preferably consists of an injection molded plastic part which is relatively easy to manufacture.
Further features of the invention and advantageous embodiments of the door lock according to the invention with a key-operated lock cylinder result from the following description of the drawings.

The door lock 1 according to the invention is installed in a
This up and down or locking and unlocking movement generated one by turning a key, not shown, inserted into the
Because the conventionally designed lock bit 14 (FIG. 4) is narrower than the
In order to facilitate the assembly of the
The
The
The
The
The
The door lock according to the invention does not have a locking bolt, as is common with skin door locks in addition to the lock latch. This bolt is not required per se, since the lock is already locked in itself. If such an additional bolt is desired for security reasons, it can be installed in such a lock without major difficulties.
