Abstract
Description
Vorrichtung zur Steuerung und Führung von Gegenständen, beispielsweise Jalousielamellen, entlang einer SchieneDevice for controlling and guiding objects, for example blind slats, along a rail
The invention relates to a device for controlling and guiding objects, for example Venetian blind slats, along a rail, the objects between a position in which they are arranged in a region of the rail and a position in which they are preferably uniform along the rail are distributed, are movable and by means of a change in distance between two adjacent objects, for example by means of ladder cords, connected to each other and by the action of a tensile force on the object which is located the most outside, z. B. on the bottom bar of a blind.
Venetian blinds for lying or inclined skylights differ from other venetian blinds in that they require special control or guidance of the slats and the lower bar so that they are carried when pulling up and down. Therefore, in known blinds either tensioned guide cords or guide rails which are screwed along the side frame parts of the window.
For the guide cords, the slats of the blind are provided at each end with elongated holes which run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the respective slats and through which a metal wire is guided. The bottom bar is usually provided with rotatable eyelets at the ends through which the cords can be pulled. The transverse elongated holes in the slats are preferably perforated in the lower half of the slats during use, so that the point at which the slats are supported on the guide cords is approximately in the horizontal center of gravity of each slat. This ensures that the slats are somewhat balanced, which fact facilitates the adjustment and pivoting of the slats.
This configuration has two major disadvantages. The tensioned metal wires gradually become slack and have to be re-tensioned regularly. In addition, the blind does not close tightly, since the necessary, relatively small hole from the lower edge to the longitudinal center line of the slat prevents the latter from rotating by 180 °.
! When using guide rails, which are generally aluminum profiles that on the side frame parts of the window z. B. are fastened by means of screws, the slats are provided at both ends with a punch that extends from the lower edge of the slat to approximately the longitudinal center line of the slat. In this case, too, the support points of the slats lie in the center of gravity, which makes pivoting of the slats easier. The lower bar is provided at the ends with round pins that slide on the rails. !
This system has the advantage over that with guide cords that the guide rails can be stably mounted with screws and that the slats can be freely rotated by 180 °. However, there is a risk that both the bottom bar and the slats will fall off if the blind goes wrong during the lowering. This often happens when the blind is mounted so flat or the roof is arranged so flat that the blind or its individual slats do not overcome the frictional resistance.
Attempts have already been made to eliminate this disadvantage by means of a cord system running on the frame, so that the lower bar cannot go wrong. The installation of such a system takes a lot of time; in addition, it does not prevent slats, especially in the middle of the blind, from falling, as they are not guided through the ladder cords when they are lowered.
The invention has for its object to design a device of the type described above so that the disadvantages of known devices are avoided. This should be achieved without any significant additional constructional effort. In addition, construction and handling should be clear and simple.
To achieve this object, the invention proposes that a transport slide that is movable along the rail is attached to the most external object, that is to say, for example, to the lower bar of a blind, the dimension of which in the longitudinal direction of the rail is selected such that in the contracted state of the objects these can rest on the slide, the height of which is such that the objects resting on it are lifted off the rail. As a result, this means that the frictional conditions are favorably influenced in such a way that the occurrence of frictional resistance, which can lead to the individual elements or lamellae getting stuck, is avoided. The ends of the objects do not slide on the rails attached to the sides of the window. Rather, each rail is assigned a transport slide which slides along and is guided in the rail, only friction between the slide and the rail being able to occur. This friction can be kept very low by choosing the right material. In addition, if necessary, there is also the possibility of transport slides with wheels, rollers or the like. to provide that run on the rail. Another advantage of the device according to the invention is that in general moving the objects, for example closing a blind, causes less noise than is the case with known devices.
- Figure 1 is a horizontal section through one side of a blind with a guide attached to the window frame. rail,
- 2 shows a section along the line AA of FIG. 1 with blind slats drawn together at one end of the rail,
- Fig. 3 is a representation corresponding to Fig. 2, but in which the slats are evenly distributed along the rail.
Fig. 1 shows a guide rail 2 which is screwed to the side frame part of a window. A corresponding rail is attached to the opposite frame part, not shown. The guide rail, which is advantageously an aluminum profile, has a continuous, longitudinal groove on its side facing the window. A
When the blind is lowered from the raised position shown in FIG. 2, in which the slats at one end of the guide rail 2 rest together with their end regions on the transport slide, the slats are displaced along the guide rail. This can be done in the known manner by means of a cord pull and / or under the action of gravity. Each slat rests as long as its movement along the rails 2 continues on the two
When the blind is pulled up from the position according to FIG. 3 into that according to FIG. 2, the slats are lifted off the guide rail one after the other. This is done by the
The use of a transport slide of this type, which releases or picks up objects one after the other in the course of a movement, is not restricted to blinds. The same system could be used, for example, in ordinary curtain rods for heavy curtains where it is expensive to provide each slider with wheels to reduce friction.
