Zu diesem Zweck sind bei einer bekannten Einziehvorrichtung (OE-PS 248 364) zwei Klemmwalzen vorgesehen, die endseitig in einem gemeinsamen Rahmen exzentrisch gelagert sind und durch gegenseitiges Verdrehen den Bandanfang zwischen sich festklemmen, so daß das so festgeklemmte Band mit Hilfe von an den Lagerrahmen angeschlossenen Zugmitteln zwischen den Roten oder Walzen der jeweiligen Gerüste der Bearbeitungsanlage hindurchgezogen werden kann. Um dabei die notwendige Klemmung des Bandanfanges zwischen den Klemmwalzen automatisch sicherzustellen, sind die endseitig über ein Zahnradpaar antriebsverbundenen Klemmwalzen über einen Stellhebel gegensinnig verdrehbar, der beim Durchziehen dieser Klemmeinrichtung gegen eine ortsfeste Anlaufkurve stößt und durch diese zwangsläufig im Klemmsinn der Klemmwalzen betätigt wird. Nachteilig bei dieser bekannten Vorrichtung ist, daß auf Grund der Exzenterklemmen-Bauart eine vergleichsweise große Bauhöhe der Klemmeinrichtung erforderlich ist, was eine besonders weite Öffnungsmöglichkeit der Gerüste bedingt.
