Das Brems- bzw. Spannband kann z.B. aus Textil- oder aber Kunststoffgeweben bestehen. 1. Drahtbrems- und Spannvorrichtung, insbesondere für Drahtabläufe, die den abzubremsenden bzw. zu spannenden Draht einschließt, dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Vorrichtung (1) zumindest ein flexibles Bremsband (13) aufweist, das im wesentlichen parallel zum Draht (10) angeordnet ist und dessen Enden in Halterungen (3, 5) der Vorrichtung befestigt sind, von denen zumindest eine (5) in Längsrichtung des Drahtes (10) verschiebbar und um diesen drehbar angeordnet ist.
