Abstract

A roof drain (1) for removing rainwater from the roof surface and guiding it in a rainwater system (5) comprising a drain pipe (2) having an open upper end (2a) for receiving rainwater from the roof surface and an open lower end (2b) for connecting the roof drain (1) to the rainwater system (5), and a connecting flange (3) for connecting the roof drain (1) to roof cover, the connecting flange (3) being arranged at the upper end (2a) of the drain pipe (2) and surrounding it. The novelty is that the roof cover is distributed to the top cover (7) and the base cover (6) and the connecting flange (3) being arranged between the top cover (7) and the base cover (6), the roof cover comprises a connection mass (8), being formed between top surface of the connecting flange (3) and lower surface of the top cover. The connecting flange (3) has a plurality of spaced and perforated openings (4a, 4b) forming the perimeter (4a, 4b) surrounding the drain pipe (2), and through which the connecting mass (8) is passed. The adjacent openings on the perimeter are spaced at a certain distance (L1) in the direction of the drain pipe (2) and the peripheral spacing on the perimeter is at least twice their perimeter distance (L1). The openings adjacent to the perimeter are arranged overlapping each other by a length (L2) which corresponds at least to the distance (L1) between these openings (4a, 4b) in the direction of the drain pipe (2).
